But their job isn’t to tear you apart and throw your flaws into face. Their job is to slowly help you make discoveries about yourself and be a catalyst for positive growth. Later on you find out she’s actually quite good at reading people and deciphered elliots hidden trauma in her notes. She comes off as inadequate but the final season reveals she’s quite astute
