This thing performs amazingly, and they even have a Race Intercooler and Street Intercooler for the 2015-2022 Ford Mustang. The street intercooler being a smaller design and the race intercooler being a bigger design like the one for this 2020 Ford Explorer ST.

As a focus ST owner a lot of us did the shutter system delete to make room a intercooler. I’m noticing a lot of Explorer ST not deleting the shutter system. I was wondering why keep it? Just to have better MPG??
At 8:46, you skipped over releasing the round clips at the top of the radiator. Every install video does this and then claims to to be simple. If it's so simple, why not show it being done? I fought with those for over an hour.
Sorry! Was hard to record certain things, yes those clips were a pain
I was able to get it off without releasing them, although difficult. To reinstall definitly gotta remove them though, partially busted one of em, they still work though.
Will the larger intercooler increase the radiator and engine temps? I would imagine it would. But not sure to what degree

Yes it is tuned. Better fuel and power with the Intercooler!
What size rims and kind of tires you have? Look sharp!
I thought I read that this IC required removing a few of the slats on the active grill shutter, but it looked like you had all yours in place. Did you not need to remove them?
You can remove it, or keep it on, it’s fits either way :)
My wife has the 22 ST will it fit the same, I know some models change certain fittings. Might need to pick it up and install before next summer. California was crazy hot this last year

Will this fit the 2020 Explorer 3.0 Platinum?
Yes it will
What about increasing turbo lag ?
You’re getting 2.5x the cool air with this intercooler so I assume it should take very slightly longer to pressurize for the turbos, but with our piggyback tune it’s faster than ever. All we have is the GTS 5 tune from RaceChip
@@RevolveAuto Have you compared the intake temperature before/after? (I don’t know if Ford has an air temperature sensor)
@@PyatkaUbiyca I’ve seen drops of 40 degrees but normally around 25 degrees cooler
Are the shutters necessary to keep on?
No they are not
Just remove the shutters but leave everything else.
Does CVFAB make these in america?
