A few comments on the set:
I hope Multipick adds the medium and thin turners that were intended to be part of any set. With only the thick turners, there are no options in this set to fit in medium or narrow keyways. I also suggested they could include more than 3 thicknesses of turner, in finer increments, but that 3 is the bare minimum.
Multipick apparently used the wide shaft taper profiles intended for .015" thick picks, rather than the narrow shaft taper profiles intended for .025" thick picks, which are the closest match to the .6mm thickness. This means the shafts are wider than necessary for that thickness. Not the end of the world, but I hope they fix this eventually.
The long wave rakes each come in large quad and small quint forms, for large and small locks, respectively, and 3 different levels of sharpness: Aggressive cycloid, cycloid, and sinusoid. These 3 levels of sharpness have a sine/cosine ratio of .5, .25, and 0, respectively. The aggressive cycloid, which has not appeared previously, is quite sharp compared to the others, and will tend to snag and saw metal from key pins. The original cycloid is a good balance of action and smoothness. The sinusoid is as smooth as it gets.
The short wave rakes are only in the large and small cycloid wave. It would be simple enough to offer those in aggressive cycloid and sinusoid forms too, but it seemed a bit excessive and unnecessary, as most raking is going to be done with the long wave rakes. and the cycloid is the Goldilocks happy medium sharpness.

Morning Bill! Christina is awesome, I sat down with her and she showed me the program she used to design all of these and how the cycloid and sinusoid functions were used in the design, It was really neat. The ToooL wicked waves have become a staple of my edc and they are the first rakes I grab when I want to use a rake. Glad to see her working with multipick as well. Thanks for the review. Have a great weekend.
Quality stuff as usual from Multipick and Christina! Great review as well, always look forward to Saturday morning with the LockLab, thanks Bill!
Well done Bill and Christina.
There are thousands of picks and sets on the market, and a user can refine the finish on them themselves, or even make your own with a few tools and good material the right thickness. It's also very simple to make your own custom tensioners for bottom of the keyway, but the one thing this industry/sport/hobby needs more of is TOK tensioners.
The tension tool you use is Soooo much an important part of picking, and the better it fits the more control you have and better feedback. I don't know why so many TOK are so thin, but it makes sense to me if the tensioner is the same thickness as the key, then it fits perfectly and all you need is the right length so it reaches without being wobbly.
can not believe how much engineering has gone to think of small details like this. Ive been out of this community for some time! Great review!
Hello from Covington, Texas!!! Those look like a lot of fun. I'm glad you brought these to our attention. Been wanting to try multipick and this seems like the perfect opportunity. Thanks for a review.
COVINGTON! Man, I've driven through there countless times. My mom still just South of Cleburne.
Hello, from Houston, Texas!
I’ve just ordered her 16pc hook set from Multipick yesterday! This will complement it very nicely.
Oh man, those are some great rakes. Would love to have a set of those to add to the collection. Great review
Beginning my learning curve. Thanks for the side comments... helpful in understanding the nuances.
What a nice set of rakes! Great review bill! Sad to report that the great set of multi pick tensioners you turned me on to has vanished from my kit, Strangely enough out of the eight tensioners I still have one all the other ones have vanished . 😢
Wow, get rakes. Great reviw and video as always. Thanks Bill!
I absolutely love her picks.. locks open themselves when they see me pull out my planer set…
She’s brilliant
Awesome set of rakes, I'd sure like to get my hands on one.
I know what I want for Christmas, thanks Bill, great review!
Great set!, great video, like always!
I bought a couple of her designs from Law Lock Tools, and I’ve found them to be very effective rakes. And as somebody who really likes math, I was excited to see this application of the cycloid function.
Nice looking set.
Awesome review!!
Nice picks
Thanks, Bill! Christina is da bomb, isn't she?! 🙂
Nice bit of kit 👍
I was just looking for a new set of tensioners, i will have to check these out.
I'd LOVE to have a set like that!
Great show bill thank you ! there gos my weeks lunch money i never win lol
Awesome picks!

Im not in business yet, i just like to watch yours chanell and "LPL". Great job.
Getting an error on locklab site, not sure if it's just me. I'll check back. Thanks Bill!
Great set, just wish I could afford them now ;-)
She has most definitely has been watching your videos for a long time.
Thanks for the video
i really like what she did with keeping that top of the keyway tension flush with the lock. i prefer bottom of keyway for that main reason, it seems to slip out right as i’m getting the last pin and boom! i hsve to start from scratch.. i find top of keyway is better and i get better results due to the room to maneuver but that damn tensioner falling out on me makes me like the bottom. i have her wicked waves set already so i might just make a couple tensioners on that design and if they work, maybe i’ll get some.. but this is 3 years old as i write so i bet they have those in a less expensive expansion type kit now the new car smell is gone. i will update if i find anything.
Hey, do you ‘need’ the Bogotá’s if you got the waves? Btw love your channel, can listen to you speak locks for hours, you make me wanna start pickin’ :)
hello Bill, are Doorlocks generally more difficult than padlocks? I found an old abus-Doorcylinder in the cellar and wanted it to be my 1st lock, ive invested about 5-6 hours picking it and just cant open it
Hi, I enjoy and learn a lot from your videos every time, and now I have become a lock picker and a part time locksmith for about 3 months, thank you very much. May you please also do a review or give advice on Christina’s Multipick ELITE Lock Pick Set? I am considering to have it or not.
Hey Bill, now that Sparrows has released another batch of the disc detainer pick designed by you and LPL, I was wondering if you'd do us all a favor and put up a video about what locks we should think about getting to learn how to use your amazing pick on disc detainer locks? Also, what tool would you recommend to get in order to turn all of the discs clockwise before picking?
A few lock recommendations would be so very much appreciated. I just don't even know where to start re: disc detainer locks. But I'm sure excited to get my new pick! It'll be here Wednesday. :)
There's really no way for me to answer this because the dd makers online keep changing their names faster than we can keep track. Basically, any dd costing less than $20 is fair game. You can even find hundreds of the on eBay and Amazon for under $10. Price is the best indicator. If it says "Assa" or "Gerda"....forget it.
Her waves are so useful! Had a great convo with her too😁 She pointed me here for some of her articles (and additional resources for beginners and experts):

Thanks Christina!
Seems like they're no longer available via the link provided in the description. 😞
I tried to get to the multipick site to check out the kit, but the link does not take me there.
Hi Bill, I cant find this kit on Multipicks site. Any ideas? Cheers
The link for the picks leads to a bad page. I can't find them on the site.
The link works but you have to leave that period at the end of the web address. If you remove it the link breaks. shop.multipick.com/en/tools-locksmiths/multipick-elite-wave-rakes-0.6-12-pcs.
I like bad pages.....
Ok, Multipick's link has a period at the end for some weird reason that web browsers ignore. I've notified them of the problem. In the meantime, I changed the link to the Elite picks page. This set is on the third row of the listing.
As much as I admire her amazing design work and all the effort she put into those, I *never* use rakes. For me, the joy of lock picking is being able to SPP a lock. Raking it feels too much like cheating to me. : )
I got the Sparrows set of 4
nice set, would love to win it :)
where is your website bill?
FYI Bill, I tried 2 android tabs & 1 Windows laptop to log into Locklab.com and all return a page that says "Welcome to Nginx!" Not sure if you've been hacked or server is down or??? Thanks as always, great review, & BTW you should be nicer to Mad Bob's implements, just sayin
Me too! Grr!
Not to take anything away from Christina, but my first impression is that these are simply an extended Bogota and Snake rake. Are they really that unique?
I have been wanting wave rakes almost got the 4 piece Peterson wave rake set...
anyone have an opinion either way?
Ty
Exactly the same as the TOOOL set, just with Peterson handles.
thank you D K
I like rakes but I think that's maybe too many.🤔
damn im feeling the same way about that tension wrench but I know if I can drop 80 bucks on it
it is better when you give a registration incentive by extending the warranty.
Multipick already offers a 30 year warranty, you need longer than that?

Nice rakes. But the tensioners in 0.13 mm thickness do not fit in typical European locks. Slim versions would be nice.
By the way: am I the only one, who would appreciate TOK tensioners in thickness steps of 0.01 mm instead of the curent 0.02? I have often the case, that e.g. 0.12 does not fit and 0.10 is a little too loose. 0.11 should fit perfectly, but there are non comercially available, afak

Bill - I figured out the issue with your website. If you go to locklab.com/locklab/ - your website comes up. But if you don't have the /locklab, it's broken. Whoever is managing your site needs to put a forwarding link or move the files up a directory.
Also, there's nowhere to register to win any of your giveaways on the site. Wish I could enter to win because I'd love to have this!
Just went to locklab.com and the website isn’t working :/
["We only sell to business customers" - Multi-Pick Website] A shame that they don't sell to hobbyists yet they'll take advantage of designs from a hobbyist. Her other designs are there, too. I have no doubt Christina's designs are awesome (I have other awesome rakes with her designs). I wish Multi-Pick didn't insist on its restrictions.
although the site says only business customers anyone can order. I, being a hobbyist place orders with them, and my orders were never rejected.
As far as I know, Multipick sells to anyone. The remark to business customers probably is a legal one in order to justify indication of prices with and without VAT. In Germany, prices for consumers have to be indicated always including VAT, while prices for B2B are w/o tax. Violations to this price labeling is just what some lawyers are waiting for. And by the way, it sounds better than "we sell to any customers with either professional, sportive, or criminal intentions.".
That's a lot of rakes.
How to make a video of the guy who was the first portion and I had a good time
Well, I guess Christmas is coming...

I'm most surprised that there are women in this hobby! You always say "Guys" to the audience. I thought you were making a safe assumption in that phrase, but I was wrong.
"Guys" in modern usage is a genderless term. Has been for the last 30 years or so,
Dude is also mostly genderless. And there are women in nearly every hobby you can think of...
but.. but….
shes a broad!!??!
and........no.....
