Got to hand it to Microsoft. When it comes to bundles, they are geniuses in console design. This one is by far their masterpiece

I remember Sony and Nintendo used to have some fantastic console and handheld designs in the PS3 Wii PSP PSVita 3DS generation and PS4, and Sony with PS3 and PS4 controllers. Now they rarely bother with limited editions, and when they do the designs suck. Microsoft have smashed it with their console designs and Design Lab for controllers.

I'm blessed to say I own one of these, only because my local retail store (I live in New Zealand) was awesome as fuck and only sold these to people who went in-store and spoke to them in person without paying upfront until it came out. My heart goes out to everyone who can't get their hands on one due to the horrendous scalping situation.

I was with my friend who brought a ps5 shortly after its release and when he unpacked it, there was nothing even remotely special about the way it was presented or boxed up. Microsofts premium feel and look when you unbox the SX is on a different level.

Funny that this video is 3 weeks old…that’s how old my Halo Series X console is tomorrow. I didn’t realize the Halo Infinite game came with it, until I started looking at the ins and outs of the console itself. It was a nice surprise. And I’m REALLY happy with it, especially since I got it for an early Christmas present, from my long time and very good friend at MS.
When you first saw this console were you blinded by its majesty?
Microsoft needs to hire you for promotional breakdowns of their stuff. You could definitely do an unboxing on the next Xbox and show off everything inside with style! 😎

I know how special this video is. One of the very few games I still play for the campaign alone. Halo made me sell my PS2 for an X-BOX back in 2001. Amazing story. I always say “Halo is like our Star Wars.”

The best Halo games list is always one to raise hackles because the entries are pretty damn good and everyone has their favorite. Everyone remembers the first / only time they scored a ‘Killimanjaro!’ spree on Last Resort during a heated online team deathmatch - we totally believe you did it. Or the first time you stared up at the titular ring in Combat Evolved, or those nights you spent ruining yourself trying to get through Halo 3’s Tsavo Highway on Legendary with three co-op buddies.

My favorite halo game is Halo 2, the graphics and gameplay were so fantastic for me, i used to play it with my brother when I was a child

Not a huge Halo fan, but my brother definitely is. He got a Halo edition Xbox 360 for either his birthday or Christmas back when that was still a relevant console (so probably about a decade ago lol), and I loved the design, but it certainly wasn't as nice as this is. The console was more translucent with a blue tint and some cool blue lines on it, and the controller was more or less the same. I still like it, but the Series X edition is definitely nicer and has a higher build quality.

My buddy and I used to play halo all the time, every achievement on every game and knew just about every exploit, he passed away early 2015 to a drunk driver and I haven't touched halo nor any of the game titles we used to play, nor do I go fishing anymore. He was a major part of my life and I miss him dearly. We definitely would have had two of these consoles running around if he was here.
