    Good video . Wow this hitch is way harder to install than the u-haul one. WHY use this one? The U-haul one ,looks good.

      It honestly might be the better choice for an easy install. It's definitely a money saving option.
      Edit
      Best to order with the hitch already installed at the factory.

    Great video man!! How long do you think it took to install the hitch and run wiring ?

    • @whatsthatvehicle
      @whatsthatvehicle  8 месяцев назад

      No more than an hour to install the hitch, I'd say. As for the wiring, you're better off buying a compatibility kit that goes into the tailights. Otherwise, you'll have one hell of a project that isn't worth the time and effort unless you're doing the 7 pin connector instead of the 4 pin.

    Screws is the right word. Bolts have nuts, screws don't. That's the difference. Easy to remember, " First screw, then nut, now bolt."

      Unfortunately, there won't be a part two for that video. I walked away for a minute, and someone came and finished the job. 🤷‍♂️ but you can follow the steps I reverse and should be okay. Sorry for the inconvenience.

      Not much. It’s about 30-40lbs max. Just got a replacement for my truck after a small rear end collision bent my old one not allowing me to remove my spare tire

      😮‍💨 I had to step away for a moment while doing the video.. someone thought they were doing me a favor and clipped the bumper back on.
      Its really simple once you installed the hitch, just push the bumper onto the clips and then put the bolts back how they were removed at the beginning of the video.
      Hopefully I will have another chance to mess with the bumper and can make the video I intended lol
      thank you for watching and commenting!

      That makes no sense. You said you were going to finish with how to wire and then the bumper cover, so it’s not as simple as just putting back on the cover. Also, I am guessing that you had to do some sort of modification on the bumper cover for the hitch to go through.

      It takes a little time, but if you work on your own vehicles, it's pretty simple. Heck, even if you don't, it's fairly straightforward. Thanks for commenting!

      @@whatsthatvehicle I can't find that type of hitch you installed, where did you get it? Discount hitch will install the Curt hitch for 350 which I thought was a pretty good deal. I can buy the same Curt hitch for like 227.00 at Napa auto supply. I usually install stuff like that but the hitch you installed looks pretty intense. Thanks
