Mary Nightingale That's Monty Suffern. That piano was very quiet in general compared to the others, too. I have a few videos of Monty where you can hear him better, and he has his own RUclips channel: montysuffern
I love the flute lady in all of these videos. She’s always there, and it’s obvious she loves toms playing. She is just happy to be adding to the music with a smile
Tom plays the piano really splendidly but I have to thank you Keeper1st too! Without your channel and your videos I wouldn't had discover my passion for fantastic music like this You two know what entertainment means! Thank you a lot...
ah so cool, its 2 pianos playing... okay wait a 3rd piano nvm... okay and a flute too thats cool.. oh so wtf 4 pianos now? a tuba? drums? tons of old probably retired people? what the fuck am i watching
I still can't help but be amused by how, when someone "suggested" playing it in D Minor, Tom immediately started playing the first (post-intro) phrase in that key. Was it Larisa who finished up the phrase where he left off? It's hard for me to tell for sure since you didn't have the camera on whoever played that part. Speaking of amusing moments, good on Tom for working the Minsky Pickup into the intro. (And speaking of Tom, best wishes for his recovery. I've been more-or-less following the comments you've been leaving on a few of your videos with updates on his condition since the accident.)
@UC1FG9JxUq8zCCKihlmOX1EA In case you're still curious, yes it is Larisa who finishes it off, judging by how close it sounds/what the piano sounds like.
@jameskim0517 yeah, it's an old Victorian. Chip (the man in the maroon shirt at the beginning), moved the house piece by piece from Southern California and rebuilt it in Sutter Creek by himself over the course of about 30 years. Actually it's still a work in progress!
Hi, sorry for my poor English, but I say: They have a good time :) It's great :) These people having fun and that's is it, regardless of whether there are mistakes, I do some errors too when I play on my keyboard, but I have also as they fun :) By the way, it is one of my favourite piece of Scott Joplin, which I can play on my keyboard just like on the real piano, without any automatic accompaniment. Greetings to all :)
@westcanada12 If you look up "Entertainer Martin Spitznagel" you can find a couple videos in which Martin plays a bit of the tune in minor key (and other styles).
Martin is awesome. I have a video of him and Andrew Barrett making up a jazzy duet of The Entertainer. There's another good one, posted by tdub1941, of Martin with Frederick Hodges playing The Entertainer in fun ways (such as in 6/8 time).
@UberPhantom Enter "spitznagel entertainer" into the search box and watch the duet of Martin Spitznagel and Frederick Hodges. After they do it in 6/8 time, they do a bit in minor key. Also look at the one that comes up (a bit lower down) that has "as a slow jazz stomp" in the title -- not minor, but also a very cool, improvised take on this tune.
I have a lot of videos of Tom playing on grand pianos, including several on a Steinway concert grand, like this one: The Stygian Waltzes played by Tom Brier
Would have liked to continue with the B minor theme just to see where it might have gone, but what a production of ragtimers doing what they know best. the ice cream song....haha

Now this is my kind of party!!
I love how much joy music brings to everyone in the house I hope when covid ends more of this can happen.
That's so cool how they all played it together!
Scott Joplin would be proud of this group. This is indeed entertaining.
an absolute joy to watch.
That, is, freakin', great!! Wow...
getting the different players in different levels as you move around.. it's just perfect
Pretty cool interpretation of this ragtime classic.
That was fun to watch and I wish i lived in your neighborhood. Hope you guys get together and make some more music soon.
If Monty Suffern is the older guy in the same room as Tom, I really like how he plays. He seemed so relaxed with each note.
This was amazing! The player piano that the lady with the green sweater played on reminds me of the player piano my grandmother had.
there's more talent in that house than in my whole family combined, beautiful!
I can't stop giggling. This is uber great!
