@invest with Henry , I subscribed because you have one of the best delivery I have heard out of all these instructional videos. Your voice and speech pattern makes it so much easier to listen to and keep me focus on what you're saying. Other videos I have come across they would sometime stutter or their train of thoughts wander away from the subject. Keep doing what you're doing cause it's working!
Love the videos. I've been investing for a couple of years now. I've watched so many other RUclipsrs but I never could grasp enough knowledge to trade options. After watching some of your videos I finally understood enough to start getting my feet wet. Now even though the markets are dropping I'm make money😊.
Hi Henry - great job on "Beginner's guide Buying Call" video posted Sunday & 11 days ago "turn $10 into 1k weekly" like me "; also liked videos in 2021 w/ brief power point notes, like a workshop/refresher lol 😄 For me, alots happening financially- But opened Robin hood last week (haven't traded lol). Please view my questions: with hypothetical buys & strategies, are you saying a deposit of $10 can actually multiply to 1000 weekly or far stretch? In other online examples its mostly that "higher investments can net higher gains";- vs- cheaper under $20 or penny stocks etc allow lower budgets to buy more options (but may have lower co. earnings, volume, volatility etc, - and what's confusing is research shows goal to earn i.e. "$50- 100 day, takes time, higher down, skill" etc- so how is 1k weekly possible?_ It seems lets say - < "if one has a large account or lower 500- 1k but is skilled at scalping" >, can bring 500-1k weekly. / also haven't heard mentioned use of stop losses, limit orders etc - Can you do video on various Stops to protect gains "up or down"?; use scalping/ Bots, to monitor & save time? - thoughts on "Copy trading "earn as you learn" (methods for beginners? - Or trade forex options w/ more liquidity? Henry sorry for questions lol, just swirling much to learn . Please consider a video for [viewer's questions!] & how to join the Discord , thank You. Liz 😇
If your option is about to expire, and the stock is still below the strike price, can't you just exercise the option and buy the 100 shares for the strike price to avoid losing your whole investment?
Yes but you’d have to have a lot of money to do so considering the option premium is a fraction of the cost of the actual stock. You’d be spending a lot to save a little (by comparison)
Henry - please get some videos on covered calls on long term holdings ( stocks held for more than one year ) and it’s implied taxes on premiums and if we get shares called away in that event.
What if I like to own the (long) 100 shares before expiration date (ITM)? Does long call options allows me to do it before expiration (via exercising it)? Must I come up with sufficient capital to buy 100 shares at the strike price (like writing put shares)?
So is the chart even needed to determine if your stock goes up or down? Can i just base it off if the delta or the volatility alone? Or do you recommend understanding the chart
Another good vid. Just discovered you...but again you don't show how to actually exit and sell your call option. Or even how you recommend setting up stop loss. Can u make a vid that specifically focuses on selling an option after its been bought?
Question 2 - Before the expiration date if TSLA goes to 975 from $1020, Is the buy call option over? In this scenario market recovered soon with in the expiration date, then the trade will be remain active ?
I don't believe your option can be over until it expires. So the stock can be going up and below the share price you bought at which you can choose pull out at anytime prior or on expiration date.
@@InvestwithHenry so if it goes down then it is not over right? your just losing money, but still have until expiration date for it to go back up is that correct?
Question 3 - Before expiration date market is good we see the appreciation like $3300. In this scenario, if want to exercise should we put $102500 to buy $100 shares ? or should we have only $102500 - $3300 = $99200??
Question 1 - We need only $2600 for trading $1025 call. Is that correct? Or should we keep 102500 also for this call then only the call will be executed?
Hi Henry, what will be the worst scenario if you bought leaps and in between, the stocks got splitted? what will happened to the calls that have been bought and premium that you placed?
I thought every dollar the share price rises that you would times all the greeks by 100. For example, tala share price rises to 1,023.00 so Delta should be $51.58 not $5.15? New to trading here, may just be missing something.
hey henry i closed 3 options trades this week and im still ineligable for level 3 options (credit and debit spreads ) any idea how many closing trades i have to make before it opens up for me
Thanks Henry for the advice .. 1 question how do you close a call option or sell it for profit if the stock passes the strike price and before expiration?
Me too have the same question. Kindly @ Invest with Henry please clarify and if you add that point also to this video.. it would be great to watch by any new people. Every thing is in single video It's a great video. Thanks a lot.
Haha, I bought $1350 call exp 20 May when the TSLA price was ~$800. $2.80 -> $33 Boom! What a lottery but I had such a strong conviction that TSLA would go back to $1000 and I only had $300 left. With the option fee $15 for my platform that was the best that I could buy for a small theta and wait around. =) Super happy!!! The idea came from your old video clip. Thanks Henry!
But I have learned my lesson and I generally sell put spreads for Delta of 0.15-0.2 with 8~10% return every 45 days. Also, the idea came from your previous clips and TastyTrade clips. Cheers for all your hard work Henry! We learn a lot!!!
You said owning shares at a fraction, but if you exercise your option you are essentially buying 100 shares at 100k-gain. Let your option expire and you only pay the premium. Maybe you should have included a sell call for the viewers to see the difference. Essentially this feels like a video to collect clicks. (Quick, cut, dry)
THIS is the information I’ve been searching for. You touched on all my main questions. Thank you, and excellent content 🥳

Thanks Henry, you are the best tutor on option trading.
Question 4 - Could you please show us how to close the trade with in the expiration date? What actually we doing for closing the trade???
Hi henry what is the minimum you recommend to start option trading? .thanks

Hey Henry I have 5 buy calls on ME stock for 4$ price, expiring on February 17th. Tell me what to do
Thank you for explaining the greeks simply. Options trading seems so intimidating but the way you explained it made it understandable.
My pleasure!
What happens if you list your call option to sell before expiration but nonody buys it?
Another good vid. Just discovered you...but again you don't show how to actually exit and sell your call option. Or even how you recommend setting up stop loss. Can u make a vid that specifically focuses on selling an option after its been bought?
I agree I wish he showed it
Okay I will make a video on that
I wish I had the money to be a student. Henry, you make investing sound like less Japanese and more English to me.
I bought a call option for 79 but the break even is 79.66?
Question 2 - Before the expiration date if TSLA goes to 975 from $1020, Is the buy call option over?
In this scenario market recovered soon with in the expiration date, then the trade will be remain active ?
If it goes down then it's not good for the call option
I don't believe your option can be over until it expires. So the stock can be going up and below the share price you bought at which you can choose pull out at anytime prior or on expiration date.
@@InvestwithHenry so if it goes down then it is not over right? your just losing money, but still have until expiration date for it to go back up is that correct?
below the strike price I should add
Hi Henry .. It's a great video. Appreciated your time and effort to make this video. Really thankful to you.

If you dont have the money you dont need to exercise. I mention it doesnt make sense to.
If we buy call options and the share price shoots past the strike price.. what happens? Since we are bullish on the stock
Question 1 - We need only $2600 for trading $1025 call. Is that correct? Or should we keep 102500 also for this call then only the call will be executed?
Just $2.6k

Henry can we buy multiple calls for the same stock for different time frame??
hey henry i closed 3 options trades this week and im still ineligable for level 3 options (credit and debit spreads ) any idea how many closing trades i have to make before it opens up for me
Not sure sorry
Do not call Robinhood customer service and ask them about it. They restricted my options for three years for asking to be upgraded to level 3
Robinhood is the One.
Long Live Robinhood.
Be dope if his discord was linked
unfortunately level 1 , we are limited, can't sell options..

Great video, Henry. Very informative
Can you do the same with Selling calls, buying puts and selling puts on Robinhood? That will be awesome !
Yes I can
@@InvestwithHenry Awesome
This is going to get good, very good.
I'll definitely be selling puts on Robbinghood ;)
You miss how to close it 👍🏼

Henry when I try to do the strategy it says I’ll need to put in separate orders
Exactly the video I was looking for.
I was looking for the Webull options video, but I guess I'll just switch to Robinhood
robinhood is good
Fast forward 1 year later and TSLA is sitting at $253. Oof!

Hey nice HIMS Callout!.....NOT
The stock moves up and down. It's down a quarter. Jeez man no patience. Investing takes time brother
@@InvestwithHenry Your callouts do nothing but move down
Won on Henry’s Nio and Palantir recommendation 👍💪🏼
@@jeremykwan09 Yeah...look at those stocks from previous highs. Battered down!
I think my main problem is I overcomplicate everything. Either that or I get greedy. I’ll get better though.
The more I look into Call options the less I understand it.
