Great stuff. I watch several youtube videos on how to trade in the market but haven't made any headstart because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands
The best strategy to use in trading is to trade with a professional who understands the market quite well, that way maximum profit is guaranteed, I'll highly recommend Katrina Susan , she is my current trader and her strategies are working
I'm amazed you mentioned Katrina Susan , she is the best and her strategies works like magic. I've been making over 80% of my investment weekly since I started investing with her trading service
This is not the first time i am hearing of Katrina Susan and her exploits, how she handles investments and generates good profits, she has really made a good name for her self, but i have no idea how to reach her

When the market goes down then it's buying opportunity. If the market goes up then you are making money. If you stay invested and ignore the market's ups and downs, you'll make a lot of money in the long run; however, a severe market correction causes a lot of margin calls and sell-offs, driving the market even lower. currently, I'm up 13% in my diversified portfolio. As crazy as it sounds some still make enormous returns from this seemingly unknown market. gotta be greedy when others are fearful
exactly what I'm personally planning on doing now the market is down, but I have no idea about stocks to buy or what assets that would yield the highest potential and so on. Your portfolio is freaking awesome, you seem to be doing well yourself. how do you select stocks you invest in?

I'm MUCH more interested in buying stocks now that they are cheap. You can't just sit on cash waiting for the market to drop 10% before you start buying. The best strategy is to start buying in slowly and then gradually increase the pace of buying as the prices continue to drop. Cash isn't king at all in this era
@InvestwithHenry, I've a query related to this strategy. Let's say I opened a position and expiry is next week. What if stock moves into my range in a day or two? Will selling this at that time give me profit? Another question, based on my limited knowledge I feel if stock is moving up then the premium for 2 call options which we bought will increase and at the same time premium for the call option that we sold will decrease. So eventually the total cost of the position will end up with more or less at the same price that we paid to open the position (let's say $33). I want to understand how this position will be profitable? Am I missing something?
The last trade you did had me confused a bit because you SAID sell the $1250, but in actuality, you clicked buy. I was listening more intently than watching, so, I had to re-watch several times to make sense of it. Great information, and, having to re-watch a portion several time is absolutely beneficial. Thanks.
Just getting into options and trying to learn everything I can but how do you close your trade? Do you just buy the opposite of what you have, does the order matter, or just that you have the opposites?
So sorry I’m late but I’m new to this right now and I would assume you buy to close your sell options and sell to close your buy options. Did you ever figure it out? If so I could use an explanation as well 😊
Can you do a video or explain how to close this specific position out? When we close this position out do we "close to buy" the sell options and "close to sell" the buy options?
Thanks for the update and keep doing what you do. My journey in the current market has taught me a lot of lessons, at the top of that list is that it never pays to live above one's means. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around $590k to a decent 7 figures in the space of a few months. Sad to say but a lot of us have poor money management skills. My 2 cents -get an advisor to keep you accountable and aid you make better decisions, Christopher Neal Yandell has been helping me a lot, all through my journey. I find it better to pay a little bit more for peace of mind than worry about money or market trends and still get burned.
Henry... Thanks for such videos. I have tried this strategy 3 times.. All three times I was able to buy the strategy... but at the time of selling, I faced a lot of issues. Only 1 strategy out of 3 got sold and no matter how low I try to sell, it was not getting executed. Any tips on selling the strategy, please? Also, it asks while buying or selling if you are expecting a Debit or Credit for this. What exactly is this and what should be chosen?
These trades can be hard to close out with such a large bid ask spread idk how to explain that but just try taking ones that don’t warn you about that ig
You can try to close each leg individually if you're not able to close the whole thing as a whole. For example, you have Buy 1 $100 Tsla, Sell -2 $200 Tsla, Buy 1 $300 Tsla. To close each leg, you need to do two orders. 1st, Sell -1 $100 TSLA, buy 1 $200 TSLA. That's one leg, now do the same for the other. Sell -1 $300 TSLA, buy 1 $200 TSLA. And you're done, it's more likely to close like this.
I’m playing with this strategy on Robinhood, the best return was only around 2x but not 200x. This is what I did - Sell a call ATM, buy a call 2 strikes below, buy another call 2 strikes above. What did I do wrong? 😢

@@CHAMBVRS no because when you buy a call or a put contract you are agreeing to buy 100 shares for a specific price. So when you combine a sell call or put with a buy call or put you pretty much own 100 shares for the meanwhile of the combination contract you are making if that makes sense
Can you close the options you sold at a different time than the options you bought? E.g., +1 1100C Sell -2 1000C +1 900C (when current price say 950). if stock goes to 1050 and you think it will go up even more, could you sell back the 2 1000C without cashing in the premiums on one or both of the other legs? Couldn't you be on the hook for the full premium it currently trades for - credit you got for selling it? Maybe gamma on the short option more than beats out theta burn you are counting on on the short option? How do you factor in risk of early assignment if someone wants to exercise the 1000C when stock price hits 1001 or higher before expiration? I'm sure people can do well with these strategies, but couldn't you lose more than the initial "risk" when you opened the trade if the combined value of the 1100C and the 900C are less than what you would have to pay to buy back the 2x 1000C you sold? Just very confusing to understand.
Curious if anyone here has tried copy trading. What was your experience? I'm relatively new to trading and I am looking to study some experts traders and copy their open trades rather than investing myself and lose money emotionally.
To be 100% honest with you. I had the same question 4 years ago. I was confused as heck. Now copying other traders for over 3 years, would like to tell you, YES copy trading is a good approach. Just keep in mind that the success of copying another trader lies in their transparency. Make sure you know who you are dealing with before copying them. Goodluck!!
Yeah surely you can! Personally, i copy trades of a U.S regulated expert trader name "Williams T. Kevin" on my own trading account, and at the end of the month I give him a percentage from the profits he makes for me as agreed upon while i get increased exposure on how he navigates the market.
Great video! Does the same work for puts? Also, can you please do a video on an actual trade. I want to see what it is like to close a trade like this. I see concerns from folks about closing this especially closer tot he expiration date.
Can someone please help answer this, Henry is selling, $18 ITM call option, isn’t it possible for this to be called away before expiration? What exactly am I missing? Thanks in advance
Yes it is possible for any option that is in the money to be exercised early. However, this is only a likely event if the contract has no extrinsic value remaining...in which case, the option has to be super far in the money AND very close to expiration.
Great tutorial on butterfly credit spreads. One note is that Robinhood robs you on the bid-ask spread. The cost of commissions free broker is that you are the product.
So webull doesn't allow for this on a papertrade cash only account so how can I practice this, also can u do one to show how best to trade aal thus month sept 2023
I'm new to this type of options strategy (which looks like a Long Call Butterfly Spread to me). I'm trying to understand the coverage if on the Tesla spread the price at expiration is $1,110. If both of those written calls got exercised how are you covered? Because at $1,110 your lower call option would be in the money, but your higher call option is not in-the-money. So how is your 2nd written call option covered if you get called on the 200 shares at $1,100?
200 shares exercised short at $1100 adds ($220,000) . 100 shares exercised at $1080 costs $108,000. 100 shares sold at stock close price of $1110 costs $111,000 .. Assuming no commissions equals a profit of $1000

I'm a bit confused.... I am not even 100% sure how to close it, probably buy and sell exactly opposite of what I did on beginning I guess.
HI. Henry… Wonder if it is possible to set up the trade with 2 or even 3 Xmas Trees next to each other with different strike prices? this will increase the chance of “winning the lotto”?
So are you just risking what its saying is max loss, or can you actually lose more? I know if you have more sell calls, it shows unlimited losses. What would happen if the stock goes way higher or lower than the options you have selected? You still just lose what the max loss showed? Is it hard to get rid of the options at the same time? Should you sell the sell/call first or does it matter? Assuming these are all separate options once bought? I'm liking this strategy, just wanting to make sure I don't get in something that would potentially have big losses. Which I'm thinking this strategy won't be the case, just asking.
The maximum risk is the net cost of the strategy including commissions, and there are two possible outcomes in which a loss of this amount is realized. If the stock price is below the lowest strike price at expiration, then all calls expire worthless and the full cost of the strategy including commissions is lost. Also, if the stock price is above the highest strike price at expiration, then all calls are in the money and the butterfly spread position has a net value of zero at expiration. As a result, the full cost of the position including commissions is lost.

I have been slowly but surely been picking up how to do options and came across this video. I currently use Fidelity and seeing how Robinhood makes this seem a bit more easy to understand, i need to learn about the sell this x2, buy this. I understand your strategy, but i am trying to figure out, is your sell trades sell to open/buy to close, and your buy to open/sell to close? I am a slow learner but i believe this is your method when its time to close the contracts? I guess with it not showing and you are just clicking sell/buy, it throws me off from what i see on Fidelity.

This is not the first time i am hearing of Katrina Susan and her exploits, how she handles investments and generates good profits, she has really made a good name for her self, but i have no idea how to reach her
Katrinasusan is the name to look for
As a first time investor I started trading with Katrina Susan just a thousand bucks. my portfolio is worth much more than now within just weeks of trading with her
When the market goes down then it's buying opportunity.
@@dannyvera8475 I have my portfolio very well-diversified, though I did it using trad signals from a US-regulated broker *PRISCILLA DIANE AIVAZIAN* financial analyst and CNBC contributor and it's been a huge relief. Good earnings and little to no engagement at all on my part. Her stock picks are top-notch, I don't worry about market trends anymore because she's quite the genius in trading and portfolio diversification
@@helenoliver4838 Do you mean copying her trades as it's been done in Etoro? Do you just give out your funds or copy them manually?
@@dannyvera8475 Yeah but I don't give out funds here, It stays right in my account. I only mirror her trades in real-time that's ideal for this system. Copy trading is 100% secured and very transparent to work with her, you don't have to send any funds over. you have control over your funds and can opt-out anytime you want just like in Etoro. Check out her name online and get in touch if you need help with this insane market.
Thanks.
How would 1 exit this trades, are you going sell everything at once or is there a procedure to follow? (asking as a complete novice)
Great video.. but how do u set up the sell / exit???
Thanks for the update and keep doing what you do. My journey in the current market has taught me a lot of lessons, at the top of that list is that it never pays to live above one's means. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around $590k to a decent 7 figures in the space of a few months. Sad to say but a lot of us have poor money management skills. My 2 cents -get an advisor to keep you accountable and aid you make better decisions, Christopher Neal Yandell has been helping me a lot, all through my journey. I find it better to pay a little bit more for peace of mind than worry about money or market trends and still get burned.
That's his details above 👆
Hey I did step by step on AAL, but the option always got cancelled by the end of the day. I dont know why. Any ideas?
With the right approach you can more than 100x your investment especially on a lucrative market as that of stcks fx and crypto.
The lucrative nature of the market is obvious, going about earning from it has always been the difficult part.
A system as copmplocated as that of the trade market requires a lot of study and skill, how do you do it?

Do you need to have 100 shares of the underlying stock sitting in your portfolio to execute each sell order?
yes.
@@CHAMBVRS no because when you buy a call or a put contract you are agreeing to buy 100 shares for a specific price. So when you combine a sell call or put with a buy call or put you pretty much own 100 shares for the meanwhile of the combination contract you are making if that makes sense
Loved the video and I’m testing it out naw I’ll let you know how it went thanks for sharing bro and I’m subscribing 🤝👍
So once it's going good, what's the best order in which to close the legs
Curious if anyone here has tried copy trading. What was your experience? I'm relatively new to trading and I am looking to study some experts traders and copy their open trades rather than investing myself and lose money emotionally.
To be 100% honest with you. I had the same
question 4 years ago. I was confused as heck.
Now copying other traders for over 3 years,
would like to tell you, YES copy trading is a
good approach. Just keep in mind that the
success of copying another trader lies in their
transparency. Make sure you know who you
are dealing with before copying them.
Goodluck!!
Yeah surely you can! Personally, i copy trades of a U.S regulated expert trader name "Williams T. Kevin" on my own trading account, and at the end of the month I give him a percentage from the profits he makes for me as agreed upon while i get increased exposure on how he navigates the market.

How do I close my position before expiration? Thnx.
Assuming no commissions equals a profit of $1000

close positions before the expiration and if assigned early just excercise the calls you bought which cancel the 2 sells

HI. Henry… Wonder if it is possible to set up the trade with 2 or even 3 Xmas Trees next to each other with different strike prices? this will increase the chance of “winning the lotto”?
Can this be done in TOS or this is strictly on Robinhood ?
So are you just risking what its saying is max loss, or can you actually lose more? I know if you have more sell calls, it shows unlimited losses. What would happen if the stock goes way higher or lower than the options you have selected? You still just lose what the max loss showed?
Is it hard to get rid of the options at the same time? Should you sell the sell/call first or does it matter? Assuming these are all separate options once bought?
I'm liking this strategy, just wanting to make sure I don't get in something that would potentially have big losses. Which I'm thinking this strategy won't be the case, just asking.
You actually mention around 14:00 about potentially losing more. So that's why I'm hesitant to do this lol
