Sold my APPL before it tanked, will buy at next major drop. I’d definitely need to make use of the $250k liquidity elsewhere. So what should I be looking at? Large cap or small cap stocks? Maybe crypto?
It’s going to be a wild year for these sectors, so you should def. invest in crypto. 60% of my portfolio is spread across tech stocks, crypto and Crypto/Gold ETF
Yes, my asset manager advised I spread further into mutual funds and crypto Etf and boy am I glad I did. The whole idea is: Don’t get too greedy and also to exit at the right time, so generally I do find having an adviser very helpful.
could you recommend some good advisers? don’t get me wrong, I already have an asset manager for my $5m portfolio, but he seems not to know much about crypto.
My portfolio just cracked $50 million this week, I have a good amount of SCHD and I'm still buying weekly preparing for a flip in tbe market. Right now it makes up on 4% of my entire portfolio. VOO is only 5% of my portfolio and VGT is about 6%. I'm working to bring those up to 10% each and reduce my individual stocks down to 40% from 52%... I also hold smaller amounts of VIG, DGRO, and MGK in a secondary account that I'm buying weekly as well. My individual stocks have blown all other investments out of tbe water the last 5 years, but I don't expect to outperform over the long haul.

the number one mistake beginner make is not setting up the stop loss when buying option. You need to preserve the capital, so you need to set up stop loss at least 10 to 15% stop loss. If you don't set up stop loss, you may end up lose all your money from option. Happened to me as beginner.

I can relate; I felt the same way 3 years ago when I was first introduced to Options; it's quite a bit of info; strategies, etc. etc. Here's a piece of advice; watch everything twice or as many times as needed until it clicks; take notes; continue researching in YT (find the right teacher for your learning style, and it will click :). Don't give up; it's really like learning a new language. You've got this !!!

My colleagues had a good laugh at me when I told them I started my journey with $50k capital and how I accumulated over 6 figures within a span of 7 months. They never believed me until I pulled out my P&L.
I always thought buying a call option at a certain price just gave you the right to own that stock at that price, but you must be selling your option before the expiration date maybe because you don’t want to own the stock
no options doesn't give you a share of the stock. it's just a contract. out of the money on the date of expiry always expires. so, you can always buy in the money call options with an expiry of 1-2 months or 1 year expiry.
I lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Natalie Strayer
