Well first of all, they aren't in their shops. You don't have a small time limit when you're at your own shop. Second, this show is filmed within 1 month so they're constantly speedrunning difficult tattoos. 3rd, it's a scripted reality show where they have the artists explain everything to the camera like we're idiots and make shocked reactions and dramatic arguments for entertainment value.
yeah but on a show like this that can be dangerous. Someone could come in asking for a 10+ hour tattoo and they only have 6 hours to do it. another aspect to consider is since it’s a completely wide open challenge, people will be getting anything
I love how Sarah listened to her canvas and his story despite her thinking it was off-topic. Turned out the doll was actually on topic. That doll is traditional Japanese. Sarah seems actually sweet
4:50 that tattoo is badass and it’s annoying how the judges dock you based on what they want and not what the person wants. He says “we weren’t asking for you we were asking for Japanese.” The are teaching tattoo artists to be self centered when they should be trying to please the tattooee.

sarah is so much talented than they like to accept she is. that daruma tattoo was dope!!
her in the ink master redemption episodes is amazing!! she’s so good with her clients
I agree, it looked amazing. They’re hard on her and I’ve noticed the show tends to edit her portions to make her a villain character
I don't get why everyone hates Sarah so much. Yeah she's intense and defensive at times, but she is a damn good artist. Most of her tattoos on the show were great. This isn't a personality competition, this is a tattooing competition.
I felt it in the phoenix tattoo. It was the best tattoo present there. Beautiful shapes, good contrast and instead they chose the barbarian tattoo which was awful.
I still wonder how the judges could look at that and say "It's the best we have here today"
@@jhessicacomjh Exactly, they love to praise Steve but there were so many issues with that tattoo they completely overlooked (like the GIANT hands, and his awkward derpy face).
I personally don't like her bc she seems like a legit bitch sometimes. It has to go her way, and I understand it's a competition so it's a slide, but if I walk into a shop amd she's like that, I'm walking out tbh
She's a god artist, she just needs to tone her attitude
Most people hate her because of her personality, doesn't mean they find her art to be bad
Yeah, but just because you're good at something doesn't mean you have to be a B**** about it. I'm really good at baking, but I'm not going to tell the ladies at church their cookies suck. We all have things we're great at and things we suck at, and being positive about other people's strengths is always better than being negative about their flaws. Sarah could be the best artist in the world, but if I went into her studio, I would be walking out five minutes later.
Joshua: "I am seriously underestimated, in this competition"
Also Joshua: *Can't draw from imagination to save his damn life*
Jeff was too nice letting jesse give him his stupid new school tattoos
I love Jesse i guess you can say as a person. He was probably the nicest artist to ever be on Ink Master. Never any bullhsit going on with him and even congratulated Sarah when she beat him. However, I wish everything wasn't new school. I could not tell that was an octopus. Gotta be great at all styles, not just a Master of new school
I love Chris's response to the MMA fighter jokingly saying he'll hit him if he says anything bad:
"I don't give a fuck, it'll probably knock me out"
I feel for King Mo, the tiny tattoos back of my theighs hurt worse than my entire chest piece. My artist said it's like tattooing brick lol
Josh is basically Dwight from the office if he were a tattoo artist lol
@meelachotube That's a great observation, you're right 😂 lmao
I really -like- love the rabbit foot ...vs... rabbit without a foot concept!
Personally I think the colours Tatu Baby ultimately went with for her coffin weren't too pleasing.
I feel like the judges just suck at judging haha, like that tiger looked insane aswell as the daruma doll.
They were both Japanese and this is a ridiculously bias game.
Ong that tiger looks like some old japanese drawings. Looks sick as hell id get that
Gotta give Hardy credit for sticking with it
Well being high on Percocet will do that
@@francissobotka8725 LOL
@@francissobotka8725 crying at this comment 😂😂
Dave: Today the power is in the hands of your canvases, they will choose whatever design they want and the artist they want to tattoo them.
Everybody: What? Omg
Yeah how crazy is that, imagine a client enters your shop and asks you tattoo what they want, totally mindblowing(?)
@@GinjerFourYou do realize all the points you just said are more than obvious? You sound like the artists in the show dude..
yeah but on a show like this that can be dangerous. Someone could come in asking for a 10+ hour tattoo and they only have 6 hours to do it. another aspect to consider is since it’s a completely wide open challenge, people will be getting anything
Oliver Peck's voice still haunts this show.
😂😂😂😂
is that who that is?! I don't watch the actual show and I'm always like ? who's voice is that and why do we never see him
@@play-foolold footage of him doing black face came out so the show cut him out!! Hope that helps a little 😊❤
I love how Sarah listened to her canvas and his story despite her thinking it was off-topic. Turned out the doll was actually on topic. That doll is traditional Japanese.
Sarah seems actually sweet
They need to find people who are okay with a free tattoo to help the competitors cause I've seen some pretty unfair situations
I think it’s really hard to find people that’ll let people just randomly tattoo them.
@@LoveK1 imma do it they just need to fly me in from germany
@@LoveK1 Ask any teenager lmao they'd be more than happy
the ink is addicting to watch but the judging on this show is so unbelievably unreasonable sometimes.
"Hey mo! We only got 5 hours, baby!" The best thing I've ever heard!!!
12:56 King Mo's train of thought is hilarious 😂😂 everyone else f'ed up because they picked 2, 3 & 4.
4:50 that tattoo is badass and it’s annoying how the judges dock you based on what they want and not what the person wants. He says “we weren’t asking for you we were asking for Japanese.” The are teaching tattoo artists to be self centered when they should be trying to please the tattooee.
Why did i think king mo was 50 cent 🤣
You weren’t the only one my dude 😅
Your not alone
This is addictive to watch lol how have i only just found this
I really like Craig’s rabbits foot ones
Such a dope yet gruesome take lol
Loved hearing D'Angelo's spiritual approach to feeling his tattoo.
I agree with how D’Angelo described some of the designs. How a lot of the artists played it safe. I have an awareness tattoo and the symbolism and elements should always tell a story while also making a statement.
Idk..why..but Sarah calling Tatu Baby...Baby..is so cute to me
i know this is an old one but 100% they made Sarah look and sound "crazy" almost the entire time she was on screen and getting segments of her edited together in bad faith for no other reason than having rage bait content ... just giving a bad name and stereotypes for woman who actually speak up and are passionate about what they do, her pheonix looked fire for the time bffr. I'm so glad they got new judges with more understanding of all styles instead of just having people stuck to their "old ways" of traditonal, theres new styles and improved techniques and an entire industry that is way more than just the gOoD oLd DaYs
I swear if I was a tattooist, I would faint from the pressure of tattooing such VIPs
37:10 "With all you heard from me" HOMIE you vague as hell man 😭🤣
For real 😂😂😂😂
"Don't fuck it up."
Nice to see the warnings on this show are the same as in Project Runway :P
35:35 "He has a specific direction." Well why didn't he tell the artists what it is? And why is Nunez telling the client what he should think about the tattoo?
Steve tattoo was freaking sick man. Loved to see that tattoo..
“It doesn’t necessarily have to be pictures, or it doesn’t necessarily have to be words. I’m learning more towards…artwork” um what 😂
19:00 GEEZ They are SOO hard on her, That Dragon Was GREAT!
Tyler Nolan is such a cool dude, and such a great artist.
8:46
I thought for a second that they got 50cent onto the show lmao
Sebastian was so hyped over every athlete 😂
Chris' baby tattoo was abysmal. Looks like a medieval painting, like an old man.
Say whatever you want but the tiger tattoo was amazing. I agree the background was a little dark but all in all it’s amazing.
😅😅😅 omg...I was so in love with Jeff Hardy growing up but I never really heard his voice but man oh man did I have good taste as a kid..he voice is lovely 😍
Same here! LOVED him 😍
He is hot.
My mom went through the same procedures, including finding polyps and none of them were cancer. You’ll be okay. Turned out to be Crohn's disease. You are most definitely in my prayers. 🥰
Sarah's phoenix is sooo sick!
Sarah thinks a Daruma doll isn't Japanese. I bet she never cries either.
She's by far the most annoying person ive ever seen on this show.
Sarah never said she didn't think it was Japanese! She said that she doesn't think she can create a creative enough tattoo.
I just realized the first guy's dad just told him a daruma is like a weeble wobble. Lmfao
That LORD SHIVA TATTOO 🔥❤️Love From INDIA🇮🇳
That tiger was badass, the hell man
To be fair. It was positioned like a human in a tiger suit
It really wasn't
Breast cancer ♋️ tattoo kinda hit me in the heart strings. Best wishes to anyone suffering from that or lost a loved one from it.
Im starting to think they kept bringing in celebrities just to see Sebastiáns reaction
Honestly, I liked Craig’s good and bad luck tattoos more
Sarah’s phoenix tattoo that unbelievably good, there was no reason to shit on it. If I could get that tattoo, I would.
sebastian be going crazy everythime he see's a fighter.
Serious question, why not use numbing cream for the canvas's sake? Ik it would wear off after an hour or 2 but at least they could be eased into the pain. I would hate to keep people in alot of pain.
Bro I got hyped when I saw Jeff hardy
Sarah's intensity never ceases to make me cringe
Same. She acts as if literally everyone she meets just said something super offensive.
Intensity is one word for it.
to me she seems to be somewhere on the autistic spectrum, ofc we don't know but that's what it looks like
Don't worry it's all just for the camera.
Pretty sure she was actually mentally not okay during the taping and they exploited it.
Steve's tattoo on the spine is beautiful
