I worked at dunkin for a year, they all come frozen on a truck and we keep them in the freezer, and then pull it out and cook and frost them, starting around at 1am and continue that until we open. After we open the store we dont make any more donuts for the day, so they are the freshest early in the morning. I used to tell customers get them in the morning, earlier the better. But They do just sit there all day until we close and then throw them away. And the croissants if we have some left at the end of the day we dont throw them away, we use them for another day. They said there good for 2 days after there cooked, to me I didn't like that, but hey I just followed the rules.

I stop going to dunkin when I found out they stop selling the munchkins bucket and could not have them made fresh but have to wait for the truck to come in.

Dunkin donuts stores do not hand make their own foods but have them shipped to their stores early in the morning. Just thought I'd share this fact.

It depends what part of Canada you go to. People on the west coast and prairies are very friendly & helpful. As you move into Ontario they tend to be less kind. Quebec is the worst especially if you only speak English. Atlantic Canadians are super friendly and kind.

I never knew Dunkin’ Donuts existed until I went to Peru for the summer. I never felt so shocked to know that it was around since 1950’s.
Back in the early '70s, i knew a baker who worked at the second or third franchise in the company. It was in Shrewsbury, Ma. I liked watching him cut cake donuts. He could flip four cut donuts on his thumb before putting them on a rack for frying. He was fast. They fried the things in lard back then and they came out crunchy on the outside, and sof and warm on the inside. They were perfect. Some time after that, the company changed the recipe and what the fat pills were fried in and they are not the same. I don't buy DDs anymore.
French crawler is my one and only donut I'll even eat. Sadly a couple years ago the dunks near me stopped ordering the crawler. When I asked why they told me it wasn't popular enough. Fast forward to a couple years later they have since added them back on the menu. But now they seem to be so popular that I have to go there at 5 a.m. just to be able to get one before they are gone.
No ‘Dunkin’ Donuts here in the United Kingdom, but I have been to one in an American Airport & bought a Cold Moca Coffee in a bottle... it was nice!!

The only doughnuts I will have at dunkin, are the apple fritter, the cinnamon roll, the cruller, the maple bar and the twist, that which is half the sizee of the cruller, the French cruller that is.

I worked at a D&D in the early 80s when all donuts were made in store. 2x a day.
They came delivered already cooked at 4-5am for me

The problem with DD franchise is that the owners I work for are foreiners. No breaks unless under 18, management makes $9.50 an hour, no benefits, and no holiday pay. I kinda hate DD now

Massachusetts here. Companies are suppose to give you a 30 unpaid break if you work more than 6 hours so if the company didn't then their screwed. My boss got a 5k fine because people weren't taking their breaks. (usually she would just take the 30 out of payroll but forgot to, if we didn't want to take it)

My grandma once took me n my cousin to a Dunkin’ Donuts. The employee didn’t know how to count and gave us 4 donuts and 1 donut hole instead of our order, which was 4 donuts and 4 donut holes AND CHARGED US FULL PRICE
It might have been that employees get rushed surrounded by other employees also rushing around trying to get entitled people their coffees. Also munchkins are approx. 20 cents each so they jipped you of 60 cents. You're going to complain about that? Try to think about the stress employees are put under during a rush before you complain about little things like that

The Dunkin Run menu is almost all.but discontinued at most locations and went thru menu changes in 2017 that took it down to 18 varieties of donuts mandatory for most stores.
Also not all Dunkins use frozen donuts some franchises still have one store that makes them from scratch then delivers them to the other stores within their franchise.

I used to work for Dunkin’ Donuts and all the sandwiches and donuts in Dunkin’ Donuts Aren’t fresh. All the meat and eggs delivered frozen from another place, donuts delivered every morning. So please when you come to Dunkin’ Donuts don’t expect fresh stuff cause it’s a fast food restaurant not a hotel 😂

Hardly LARGE any more. When they were bought by Baskin Robins the number of donuts went down drastically. I remember the Cream Filled Donuts. And I mean CREAM not PUDDING. They had to stop running the 'Time to make the Donuts' commercial's due to the fact that the franchise no longer actually make donuts they just ship them in. So no one in the shop actually makes the donuts. I don't think anyone would have liked 'Time to get the donut shipment' as that would have killed the sales, as the company makes sure the shipments are done under cover of night IE before people come in for the AM run. Yea who wants to be known for shipped in donuts?????? I mean you can get fresher donuts at the grocery store.

I use to work there. All they do is buy frozen dounts and heat them up for like 15 mins.
They also only donate there “throw away food” to charities on Thursdays haha. On all the other days tho they just throw ally hat food in the trash 😂..makes sense huh haha. The coffee is trash too man. I’d rather make my own pour over and save 50$ a month.

Not all stores are the same. Yes our donut is shipped frozen but then we have to bake them frost then glaze them fill them and have fun with them on holidays. I do know of some stores that get the early morning deliveries
I can't eat or drink a lot of their products anymore. The donuts are okay, but a lot of the hot food type products seem to have this weird taste to me, a non food taste, that's almost like a cleaner got in it. The first time I noticed it was in a coolatta. Then I noticed it in the hash browns. And several items after that (diff locations and items) I've stopped ordering everything except coffee and the occasional donut. Which sucks because I really loved their food.

I love Dunkin Donuts coffee I do not ever eat their donuts because they are not handmade. And they do not make them from scratch they send them in Frozen which is gross.. if I do eat a donut anywhere I would rather go to a small mom-and-pop place where they make them handmade but I'm trying to stay away from Donuts cuz they're very fattening my guilty pleasure don't it would be toasted coconut love it....
