As for call of duty if your trying to play mw3 and warzone I haven't bothered cause they have their own anticheat systems that idk if the Deck will play with it nice since it's Linux. What I have been playing is legacy COD games Like black ops 2 just fine. I mostly have been playing Halo games, jrpgs, lots of halo infinite, Final fantasy games and I'm still surprised how freaking well FF7 works on it. It hasn't had much issue playing any game I own besides DBZ fighterz cause again anti cheat is a hit or miss with some games but again 99% of MY library work, i cant speak for other people and i own 140ish games on my steam and only 1 game i cared to try out and play did but didnt work cause anticheat.
@@Bmc2021 you would be surprised how many games I own that say unsupported but literally work with no problems at all. That was one of my biggest worries goin in but easily faded away. That proton layer they have on the deck is something else. Never in my life I thought I'd be running windows games on a Linux OS this well. Also my other favorite thing about this handheld has to be how it downloads shader caches for the games so i never got shader compliation stutters.

I'm so disappointed with Dragon's Dogma 2 of how bad the optimisation is.. and it's a big company ffs. FF7 is a good example of high graphics with good optimisations.
Does this video contain accurate and trustworthy recommendations? The last time I installed Borderlands 3 on Steam Deck it regularly crashed and froze, switching proton versions made no difference. I'll never install Windows just to run the game. The consistent crashing left me with no choice other than to uninstall the game, the purchase was a total waste of money, buying Borderlands 3 for the Steam Deck left me thoroughly frustrated. The beefy disk space requirements don't inspire me to install Borderlands 3 on the Steam Deck again.
Borderlands 3 works well for me, no crashes. I tried it on both LCD and OLED versions. It's just too demanding in some areas and I had to lower the graphics settings a lot to get it to at least 45FPS. I'll add that I installed it via the Heroic app and picked up the game itself for free on Epic when it was available.

The reason of why asus has annunced the ally x IS because they NEED to release a new model in order to get rid of the microsd reader problem, because in case you don't know, it has a ver common hard issue that burnsout the microsd reader and the microsd itself, and even a rma proces doesn't solve it in a lot of cases That alone takes the ally out of the ecuation, because paying 400-650 to get a faulty product with a very bad customer service its not acceptable in any means.

Every time they say “quick resume”, I cringe. It’s being said quite a lot too. The script seems like it was written by an AI. Some of these descriptions DO NOT sound at all like the way a real person would write. Saying “the settings can be adjusted right on the steam deck” or “the games standout feature is the ability to tweak the graphics settings right on the steam deck itself to find the perfect balance between performance and visual quality” gets old after the third entry. Especially when it’s not necessary to say. Where else would you adjust the graphic settings other than on the deck itself? How is that a standout feature? The steam decks controls seem to be “perfect” for a lot of these games. Talking about the steam decks high quality speakers like that has anything to do with the game itself. The person that wrote the script is either a robot or English is not their first language. It’s written like a middle schooler trying to fluff up the length of their writing assignment. So much repetition. I almost believe the entire video was made by an AI.

I play Diablo 4 on High Settings, solid 59-90 fps, RE4 Remake on High solid 40-60fps

Change settings from dx12 to dx11 and it will fix the crashes for you, hope that helps
Borderlands 3 is highly unoptimized game, you look at doom eternal which came around the same time and it runs way better in comparison on any system
