perfect video, exactly what I needed. Just bought a buss like yours, its on my channel if you want to se. now I know how to bleed the fuelsystem, thx!! sorry for my english.. cheers from Malmö in Sweden.
Thank you for your lovely comment, your English is a lot better than you think! If you get time, link or make a short video of your bus, or Malmö, would love to see it through your eyes. JC
Freakin awesome find JC those 508s are now very collectable and rare ,the engines are renown to one of the best in the world albeit a bit noisy ,are you getting it restored ? Many now going for 30 grand plus restored , no cam belts or chain ,don't forget to grease the kingpins there's grease points top and bottom , there's also a little filter under the bleed pump in a glass bowl , bit tricky to remove but not hard once you line up the bowl on the rubber seal .🔥
Man I am fucking so greatful to have it. Thing is it is just sat there doing nothing. Needs to be restored but I am at a pecuniary disadvantage at the moment, or at least I don't know where to start. I don't know how to weld. How can the engine not have a timing belt or chain, how does that work? I took the fish bowl off a few times, gets easier. I refurbished the fuel tank It has a leak or two in the roof, I have buckets inside but the wood floor Is solid. It used to be a race van I heard. Need some help doing the kingpins if you could point me in the right direction to get some help - have you greased some yourself?
@@JCAUDITS They have like a truck large wheels (cogs ) for the timing ,yes theo kingpins are behind the brake drums they area what the wheel pivots on at the top and bottom there are 2 greasen points ,you need a grease gun ,it helps the wheel turn easier
