- dunno if this has already been uploaded elsewhere, and I don't remember where I found this, but this is the complete, original closing to ''Loving'' (1983-1989)..Michael Karp is the composer (I think).....

I remember this all to well, that theme song is epic!!!!

I love this so much. I liked the jazzy later ones, but this is still my favorite.
There is a scene in the Loving movie pilot where they are at a party in New York City and they waltz to this theme

Always kind of resentful of loving for giving Ryan's hope the shaft but I must admit this is very nice!!
It was Agnes Nixon who created the show who pulled the strings and got Loving the choice time slot. She wanted all her soaps in a block Lov AMC and OLTL
Mike Mercado true. Unlike most ABC stations the Atlanta affiliate kept Ryan’s Hope in its 12:30 slot until it was cancelled. My mom loved Ryan’s Hope and always hated Loving.
Ryan's Hope was the best, until they brought in the mafia storylines. Killed the show.

didn't know that Susan Brown had passed, yesterday (8-31-18), at age 86..at the moment, the one thing that comes to mind is a rather intense scene between Gail and Monica on GH from February 1978..as soon as I hunt down that tape, i'll get it uploaded..and i'll see what I can find for either RTPP or BP.....
definitely the best theme song Loving had was this one

Wouldn't be short-lived if it lasted for 12 years.
A total of 3,169 episodes isn’t what I would consider to be a short lived soap opera.

@@ShadeedKelly329 Exactly guys, I would not classify a 12-year soap as short-lived. That outlasts most primetime shows and this was a soap that was born in an era where networks had short leashes on new soaps, so getting more than 3-5 years was a win for any daytime soap.
I'd like to see a posting of the episode in which a guy visits his girlfriend and rubs her stocking feet.
