Are there adapters for other brands like Rainbird or do they have the same sized threads?

You mentioned you'd post links to the parts. I can't find the links. Would you post those please - I'm needing to do this for my system this year.

FYI, at least for anybody else who found this, the Orbit part # for the timer + valve kit shown here is 57860 while the individual DC solenoid is 57861. The timer by itself is 57865

Thanks for the video, super helpful. Does the 4 zone controller hook up to a 12v battery or something smaller that is internal to the controller?

The timer pulls straight up and runs off one 3 AAA batteries and says it will last 1 yr on those batteries

Were you saying you never had electricity in the valve box out there? Then how did you power the old A/C solenoids before replacing them with the new battery operated D/C ones?

Didn’t ever power them. Just turned em on by hand
