My previous gloves were in dire need of an upgrade (daily use) so I purchased a pair of these (gold version) yes there are much better gloves, but in a pinch they aren't terrible just don't expect them to last and yes they are broken down after a few hard sparring or heavy bag sessions

I think it was more along the line for the beginning trainers who start off and go to waist money on something like this when for 50 to 60 bucks you can get something way better

I have a pair of everlast gloves and am buying a 2nd pair that is black and white and have never had any problems with them and as long as you do the absolute best you can to take care of them they will last you a while I've had mine for a year now and they still feel like they did when i got them

I used to have these gloves when I started 2 years ago. They had a lot of Rips and cracks by the padding in 4 months

I got these a couple of months ago don’t last really long but are aren’t bad. I recommend pressing your hand a little up before punching bc it has more pressure down so it does bring more protection on your wrist

Bought a white pair of these for $40 and they cracked in the first week, starting at the joint between the thumb and back of hand. I have had them for almost 6 months now, but I have had to put duct tape on them to keep them from cracking. They are more comfortable than an older Everlast model I had.
Can I ask I have these I borrowed from someone to start my gym the last 2 weeks before buying my own, I don't feel comfortable with these I have smaller hands, are Venom Devil Boxing Gloves any good ? and is there a big difference with 12 and 14oz I mainly hit the bag with them, sparring they give us the gloves they have at the gym.
Hi so im pretty new to boxing, and everytime i see these exact gloves in stores, the 16oz are alot physically smaller than this one in the video, so i was wondering if there is actual sizes and like S, L, XL etc for these gloves?

I got these yday and I dont Really think they are as bad as people say it is a bit harder to keep a grip but I have hit my bag with full strength and felt no pain or flexing In my wrist

Hello ! Really nice vid, thanks a lot from France ! I have some wrist weakness because of an old injury and I need sparring velcro gloves with really good wrist support. I was considering these ones, but the mesh is really a drawback to me, seems fragile, and i prefer leather gloves. I also was considering hayabusa T3 kanpeki full leather or even TopBoxer Win1, could you recommand me one of thoses or other one matching my needs ? Thanks a lot, you got a suscriber :)
Thanks for the sub! As far as wrist support goes, out of the gloves you mentioned, definitely the T3. Especially considering your old injury which you don’t want to re aggravate

Maybe i should check the Fairtex BGV9.. The wrist support also seems good and overal quality may be better, i really don't know .

I have a pair of the everlast power lock training gloves but the padding is soft now and the synthetic leather is coming off them after 6 months;. Theyre not too bad atm but will probably need a new pair next year. Damn also your 37! thought you were like 25 or something. I guess you know what they say boxing keeps you young.

which has more/less thinner /thicker padding in the knuckles out of this and the "venum contender 2.0" glove?

I'm asking because I want a 16oz glove with the LEAST amount of padding in the knuckles/ front of fist.

These were my first pair of gloves and my god these joints suck gallons of donkey nut. Not recommended, lasted 1 and 1/2 months before the foam started to get messed up inside on one of them and the synthetic leather got torn on the other, the wrist strap isn't good at all and it keeps shifting and isn't locked in at all. For newcomers I'd skip over these entirely and stick with the other brands.

I picked these up for $55 after tax today. Was in a pinch and just needed some gloves for the bag. I'm not THAT disappointed. I overpaid a great deal, but it was all I could find near me and they honestly do feel pretty okay. I definitely like the feedback. I'll just spray them off after each use and hope they last a few months. For the price though...if Everlast was the option, I'd get the synthetic Powerlocks.

I have a pair in 16 oz. They more or less do the job, but aren't great. The weakest point seems to be the wrist protection. Can't cinch it down enough to keep wrist straight. I like the palm ventilation but I don't expect it to last. Knuckle protection is pretty good.

Are these better than powerlocks?
No
i was given a set of these and they are the definition of Neverlast. Soo much of the weight of the glove is on the wrist leaving soo little over the striking portion of the knuckles as well they are not fit for use on a heavy bag or in sparring. These gloves are dog shit.

I wouldn't use them if they were free. Probably cost 5-8$ to make and shouldn't sold more then 15-20$. Either way they are a toy style glove that is complete garbage. Many better options for the same price or a few bux more or less. Definitely agree on the don't buy get these instead kind of point of this video. Not worth a penny! There are so many gloves in that range of price that blow these toys out the water. This video should and likely will point ppl in a better direction, instead of throwing $ in a toilet!

this was my second pair of gloves I ever bought.
I hate them.
The thumb sucks, I fucked up my thumb my first day of sparring, and after 2 years, they have not healed correctly
The leather is loose, and just weird.
My hand slides all around the hand compartment
Can never get the wrist tight enough, I had to buy long laces to wrap around and tie just to get them tight enough
They were used 30ish times before they SMELLED so bad.
I ended up using my first pair of gloves (Sanabul 14oz) way more frequently because at least the thumb felt okay.
Anyone I can tell not to buy them, I tell them.
These gloves SUCK, just pay a TAD more, and you can do SO MUCH better.
Fairtex makes great stuff, and their cheap/entry level gloves are consistently on sale if you're willing to take some ugly gloves

These gloves suck. Unless my knuckles are too big they hurt just wearing them.
These gloves are absolute garbage. They deserve every ounce of hate they get. There’s almost no padding whatsoever, I got 16 oz.
Good looking gloves. But that’s it! These are horrible, do not recommend!!!Padding wears down fast even without daily training. And don’t get me started with the weak ass velcro strap with the elastic it is straight up ass! Not secure enough and elastic breaks easily making them useless in little to no time. It’s a shame Everlast was once a top quality brand even with their lower end/ economic gloves. Unfortunately that has gone down drastically, at least with their “entry” level stuff. You can still get good quality stuff from Everlast but you will have to spend much more money. Greedy corporate cocksuckers did that on purpose so the wealthier boxers waste more money with them but don’t care about the poorer customers anymore.

Not ever single Everlast products are bad. Their lower end ones are decent at best. I use Everlast equipment and accessories because they are cost efficient. I think this guy is reviewing it from a "professional fighter perspective"
