And yet after they are released, they backed them up in fact the last one actually did very well thanks to learning from the mistakes from others which to be fair has been developing peace by bloody piece.
Well even Ubisoft didn't make the trailers, they are outsourced to other studios mainly Digic Pictures. They usually handle the cinematic trailers.

Yo do realise the story is based on a real life person. Yasuke was a black man that traveled to japan and earned the respect of its people and learned the way of the samurai. The story is going to be focused on a real life person. I dont like it when media diversifies its characters for no reason but this case its actually done well.

I mean go back and look at the old CGI trailers of Assassin's Creed 1,2,3 Revelations, Brotherhood, Unity, they were all absolutely amazing, and in my opinion this trailer isnt that good in comparison. A Japanese man had a slave. That's the end of the historic accuracy.
He wasn't a slave lmao. Nobunaga gave him his own house, respected him, allowed him rank of carrying his weapons and shared common interests with him. Yasuke fought alongside Oda's son after he got betrayed. He was made a kashindan/retainer which at the time was a class of samurai in 1579 where the game takes place. Samurai didn't become samurai as we know until the Edo period of 1603 where you could ONLY be samurai by birth or marriage. Ubisoft is being accurate (even though historical accuracy never mattered in Assassins Creed lmao). People just wanna be upset without educating themselves.

The real problem in the DRM.
The physical copies aren't guaranteed 100% full ownership.
If the physical copy of a game / movie / music / book has a DRM in it, then it's heavily dependent on a DRM server.
If a company ceases support on the DRM server / stop paying the DRM server fee, then they might shut them down aka you own nothing.
You could say these publishers have the right to revoke access and shut any servers provided by them down since the consumers already agreed on the EULA whatever.
This modern robbery needs to STOP!!!

Played ac1, didn't get to the title screen before my older brother sold the game. Married my husband and found out he had so I played it and got hooked bad. We now own every game and I stream them on twitch😊

Yasuke was only a PAGE (basically a slave, not even combat trained), and they are trying to pass him off as a Samurai 😂 How disrespectful. Especially since their previous titles have had MC's who mostly FIT with their respective stories. Even those calling out Kassandra as a female spartan forget, you could choose between her or her brother so technically it didn't matter one bit. 🤷 It also would be like making Kassandra Indian instead of Greek, then trying to pass her off as "The Only Indian Greek Spartan!" Gender for this specific character is irrelevant, but her race/background is NOT irrelevant. Like seriously why did you not make Yasuke a side character to a main Japanese protagonist if you wanted to tell this specific story? There were other choices! Hell you could have invented your own Japanese Noble, and im sure the Japanese community would NOT be as FURIOUS as they are. Ive played and loved every AC game, ive been absolutely obsessed with the new Myth Retellings (Origins, Odyssey, Val), but I have to say I will not be getting this one. I was really looking forward to a rich, well crafted feudal Japan AC story and it looks like thats the exact opposite of what you are delivering.

A black man... Samurai? This is an insult to japan. Yasuke stayed under Nobunaga for a mere year, ONE YEAR or so, and he was an attendant. I read about this black samurai thing, it was a fiction made by some western dude called lockely or something. THere was never a black samurai, much less one under nobunaga. THe only black man that nobunaga had was a mere attendant under the service of Oda for no more than 1 year. Historically, the only "battle" if you wish to call it. All Yasuke did was a mere wrestle against a japanese man under the eyes of a noble samurai MAY have been oda. And even then, it most likely not be Yasuke
Blackman samurai Yasuke was in LOTS japanese (and not only) games, anime, manga, books and movies for years.
