Thank you for the info brother. I had a QuickSilver and QuickSilverOne forever. They are my oldest cards in my profile. Always received low-lmit increases on both cards ( especially QuickSilverOne ). I used your link aboved and was offered a few upgrade paths for both. So it went like this... QuickSilver is now SavorOne QuickSilverOne is now Venture. I was able to transfer a better APR ( < 20% ) than intro APR offers for any of those cards. I chose Venture even though the fee is $95 because I want to be in their TOP Tier list of cards. I suspect I was in a low-mid tier "Bucket" for a long time now. Your video on their "Bucketing" practice clued me in on that. So thanks all around bro!!!
I did that a month ago, it was simple and quick, but like you said Cal, I was not eligible for the $200 intro bonus or the 15 months of 0% interest, but that’s ok. I’m rebuilding my credit profile and I’m aware that takes a little time. Everything you said in this video (and all your videos) is right on point, as always 👌🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
I recently upgraded one of my Quicksilver cards to a VentureOne. I have QS1 and another QS. One of these is going to be upgraded to a Savor card later this year.
I upgraded my platinum to a Venture last year and now my quick silver is a Venture One! Hoping my venture will eventually allow me to product change to a Venture X
I just talked to CapitalOnr about this a few weeks ago. They said if we don’t send you an offer to upgrade, just apply. I did & got the Savor One card with 5k. If your credit score is around a 660, you should just apply.
BRO THANKS SO MUCH I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO UPGRADE TO SAVOR ONE CARD...COZ I REFUSE TO APPLY FOR ANOTHER CAP ONE CARD LMAO FINALLY UPGRADED FROM QS to SAVOR ONE!!!! AGAIN THANK YOU
I didn't have to look for the upgrades they just gave them to me. I got upgraded to quick sliver with no annual fees last year. Last week I got an email tell me that there upgrading my card again to the world Elite card with all of the previous perks and still no annual fees.
The offered me a venture one , coming from a quicksilver card. I don't care about racking up miles. I m already earning 1.5% cash back with the card I have now . And unfortunately that was the only other card they offered .. but I d like to get into a higher tier card.
I've had 2 capital one platinum cards since 2003 and 2004. I've never been late and I have had zero balance on them for a while. They still refuse to offer any quicksilver or savor card upgrades. I'm stuck paying 5 dollars a month for each card. I don't want to close them as they are my oldest cards.. I put about 400 on each card a month then pay it off. They have raised my credit limit on both however. I guess I'm just in the worst capital one bucket there is.
I have had Capital 1 card since August 2013 (before I knew how to manage my credit) , I pay annual fee, and I have a pretty low credit limit compared to more recent accounts that I have. Safe to say I have been bucket. My question is, why does my newer account have an option to upgrade but not my older account does not?
I'll never think product changing is good unless you're going down I have a question though, so I have three credit cards Quicksilver the secured platinum and then a discover it. I'm really heavily considering canceling my platinum because I'm never getting my damn security back. It just takes too long for for them to unsecure should I just better off just canceling and get my security back and reapplying for like the saver one?
I'd cancel it (secured card), as it's already frustrating you. Capital One is not really looking to help you on your journey, so I wouldn't make them your primary credit card provider over Discover and potential other banks. I have 20+ credit cards and only 2 from Capital One and one of those two is kind of useless compared to other popular cards from other banks; the 2nd card is co-branded so is useful.
My Capital One Secured is about 4 years old and it's still secured it was my first card so I really don't want to lose the history and I only had to put a $49 deposit down to get the $200 limit and they did increase my limit the 500 but they won't unsecure it. That card is sitting in my sock drawer with all my other cards that are less than $5,000 limit
@@sinned96 I mean you won't really lose the history because it stays on your credit for 10 years and you've had cards within a year or so of that timeline. It's not that big of a deal so you're not really losing anything
@Brianpeckin yeah but it's only a $49 deposit I'm not worried about that. Now if I had a $500 deposit in there yeah probably cancel it to get that money back I mean if they close it that's fine.
Ok I have the platinum card and savor card also a quick silver. They keeping me to update my platinum to a quick silver if I have it already why keep asking to upgrade it. Can it be something wrong with there system
Y’all probably have the quicksilver one card, that one has the annual fee. The regular quicksilver doesn’t and has higher credit limit increases. Keep in mind, any card with capital one with the word “one” is on the low end aka quicksilver one, savor one or venture one.
I get more value out of the Savor One card than I do the Quicksilver card. Tried the link suggested in this video to try to product change one of my Quicksilver cards to a Savor card but got a popup saying the upgrade was not available
@calbarton should i request a credit limit increase before or after upgrading the card i have the platinum card and im seeing the quick silver no annual fee card available. My limit is currently 2800
bro let me tell you something i am with capitol one for more than 2 years my credit limit is in the bucket with a low credit limit i have 2 cards one is quicksilver that was secured and now is unsecured with the terrible limit of $200 i ask for credit limit increase and the denied. the other one is the savor one with $500.00 credit limit. what i did was i get both cards and put both in my drawer. never use it again. i when to penfed open an account and apply for the cash reward from no where thhey aproved me a 15,000 credit limit card just like that. that is what capitol is a scam. i don’t trust capitol one any more bro.capitol one is dead for me.👍
I've had a Quicksliver for 10 years and still only have a 2500 limit with cs 801/805/803. They deny me for credit limit increases. It's just insane that I tried charging 2k and paying off--usage too high for CL increase. Tried charging 500 and paying off--usage too low for CL increase I'm not playing hot/cold to find their "magic" number. So it's relegated to paying for streaming services now. Tbh I feel it's barely usable with such a low limit. I have 6 credit cards and the next lowest limit is 11k. When I spend, I'm more likely to put it on my Chase with its 25k limit. Or for larger purchases on my Amex Gold as I don't have to worry about credit limit at all that way.
I know someone personally that started out with a secured card went to an unsecured card and then went to a $5000 car loan is possible to keep moving up with capital one if you’re responsible
I don’t see the link to be able to upgrade.

Can you really PC quicksilver to SavorOne? I heard capital one don’t do that?
Can’t find the link
Thanks, the product change finally worked for me. I was upgraded to the venture one after having the quick silver one forever
What did you do? I have quicksilver and would like to uograde to savor one but no offers available. Can you olease share what tactic you have used?

The link worked for me. Upgraded a decade old Platinum to Quicksilver.
What’s the website
Just upgraded my old Venture One to Savor One with your link! Thanks man!!
Where the fuck is the link
@@Jaelin_Showers😂 I've been looking for months.
"Cal Barton" I don't see the link to the card upgrade "product change". Is it still available??
just upgraded my quicksilver to a venture x! had this line open since 2013 when it was a student credit card
Nice upgrade
Was it a Visa or Mastercard?
I just tried the link. It said the offer was no longer available. Oh well! I tried.
Literally just upgraded my card today with the link in description.
Hey thanks man I clicked on the link and it offered to product change me QS card to the savor one card.
You're welcome! Happy to hear it.
SAME SO EXCITE LOL I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
I recently upgraded one of my Quicksilver cards to a VentureOne. I have QS1 and another QS. One of these is going to be upgraded to a Savor card later this year.
Congrats! How long did it take for the VentureOne product change offer to appear in your QS?
Did you get savor one?
I upgraded my platinum to a Venture last year and now my quick silver is a Venture One! Hoping my venture will eventually allow me to product change to a Venture X
Any update on that bro?
I just got approved for quicksilver with no annual fee. Thanks.
It worked.....Thanks!
Awesome 👍🏾
I’ve upgraded my platinum to a venture one, but I was hoping to upgrade my quicksilver to a savor one, but they didn’t give me the option.

@@FaithFallRepentGraceRepeatI want to upgrade my current card not get a new one
you can do it in the app with the help manager chat bot
The apr for the one they wanna give me is high like crazy 31%
BRO THANKS SO MUCH I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO UPGRADE TO SAVOR ONE CARD...COZ I REFUSE TO APPLY FOR ANOTHER CAP ONE CARD LMAO
FINALLY UPGRADED FROM QS to SAVOR ONE!!!! AGAIN THANK YOU
This true?
They sent me an offer just wondering if I keep the old one?
I see, thanks for showing me this product change secret!

They keep offering me the savor one. I already have an Amex platinum and don’t want to apply for anothet
Yes you can I seen many other people PC to savor one with a quicksilver. You’ll have to play the waiting game 😅 just like me
I am pre approved for the venture x, but i cant product change to anything better than the venture one on all of my cap one cards? Must be bucketed
I went to your "secret" capital one upgrade place and it says it is no longer available. So what now?
Thanks for sharing the link but did not work for any of my cards.
Can I upgrade my quicksilver to savor then savor to venture x?
Did you ever receive an answer?
Yes
I don’t see the capital one product change link 🤔 🧢

I recently checked online & my QS has a pc option for:
Venture One
Venture
Savor One
I’ll probably go with one of those. Just not sure which one 🤔
SavorOne is by far their best no-annual fee card.

No you shouldn't destroy it. It's called credit history. You build your score biggest by having your oldest card remain open.
I already have a Quicksilver card and they upgraded my Platinum to a Quicksilver card. It’s basically the same card. I’m not understanding 🤷🏾♂️
