I really hope SM would consider having a live band for aespa's upcoming concerts because it makes such a huge difference having a live band playing, also aespa's songs such like Black Mamba, ICONIC, I'll Make You Cry, Girls, Spicy etc... has a banger 💥beats so I really think it would be perfect with a live band ❤
You really think these are actually "live"? I never believe anything is actually live anymore. It can so easily be a studio live with minimal editing to make it sound live but there is always still autotune in these.

Guys, this is ONE TAKE version, mean that something was recorded only once, and how cool is that aespa able to deliver it even praise by PD.. usually this one take version mainly by senior artist, the other idol/group just go with the band version but aespa, not just band but with one take..u know what it’s mean? Yeah their vocal is totally worth to be here 😊

It is understandable that they got nervous and excited, which result in shaky voice. Winter was amazing. But don’t forget that Giselle hyped the crowd up with her higher pitched rap. Karina remained so stable throughout the performances. And Ningning nailed her low notes as well as her energy. You should be fair in your judgement and dont even think of discrediting the other members. Anyway, they should’ve sing live since their comeback to build up confidence and vocal abilities as a whole. So what if some of them may lack in vocal abilities in the beginning? Even lesserafim who used to be criticised for their unstable vocal performance for their debut song got lots of praise and appreciation for their courage to sing live. So if other groups can showcase their vocals since their debut, why can’t aespa? They are from SM. And did they look happy and energetic on stage when they were forced to lipsync? HELL NO! Can’t you see the way their stage presence has improved when they actually sing live? Anyways, I’m glad that aespa is finally able to do what they should have done and all the members deserve the praises and recognitions for their abilities. Period.

I feel like this is what an idol group should be like: not only be able to sing but must sing well their OWN song. aespa has given a perfect performance, they look sooooo comfortable and you can literally see the confidence oozing out from each member when it's come to live singing. It makes me sad somehow thinking about the past when people threw hate towards them because they wanted to believe that aespa had no talent. But I'm glad that aespa can prove the opposite and become one of the very few 4th gen groups that can actually sing & enjoy their performance. Way to go aespa!
After watching KIOF cover thristy and Nmixx cover Spicy, I think we should more apreciate Aespa vocal. Their voice are sooo good, their skill are no joke.

One thing about sm is that they don’t rely too much on auto tune hence why their artists sound the same as the recording when they sing live. They harmonize with each other and layer their own voices for their songs.
I rewatched it rn, Natty was struggling a lot. She sounded weak and out of breath but for a non vocalist she did really well. Belle did good, but the song lacked that stronger more stable sound that Aespa has.
It is really puzzling to see certain members of a group receive more praise despite others seeming more talented or better performing. is it some sort of underdog syndrome or would that boost your self-esteem?

The best vocal group of 4th generation. They all have different vocal tones and colours and all of their voices complement each other so well, something that I have yet to see from other newer groups.
Agree like I know it hard to dance while singing but this live performance is just too good its such a waste wonderful performance if SM didn't put that in to their next concert like just 1 or 2 song is enough to shock the audience

What I really like about these performances is that it's 100% about the vocals. They can dress casually, no worries about dancing. just them and the music. So pure!
as a predebut MY, I witnessed every ups & downs of aespa and I'm proud that I stayed with them and witnessed more of their success and even failure, why? because I know everytime they failed, they always give us assurance that they will improve for us. I don't liked overrated things, and here we have overrated vocals aespa. Is this what you call top tier? Strange how so called top tier sounds so normal in standard, they just sounds like so many others, no wonder they have to lipsync when performing with dance because they don't even capable to sounds stronger or better even when just standing. I think people just mistaken their better tones as better vocals, they have members with top tier tones but that doesn't mean they all have top tier vocals. Btw, karina should has less lines next time, her vocal tones are so nasal, it hurt my ears.
@@o.o4200 like nasality to a certain extent and Karina's didn't bother me at all, the others are better on vocals but Karina's rap technique is great, this song just isn't focused on that. I also think that when it comes to singing, others should sing more, but as Karina is the most popular, because this she sings a lot. and yes, compared to most kpop ggs, aespa is at the top of the list, they are not WOW but they are good yes, performing and the vocals are nice to hear, especially winter's voice, it invades your head and takes up space.
If this doesn't prove they are one or the best female vocal group of their gen, I don't know what to tell you. The harmonies together, no shouting high parts, the synchronization between them..

vocals never sound more healthier. i never like to praise SM but this something that should be recognized with their artists, at least. when they do live, it's pleasing to the ears. the banger arrangement is just cherry on top.

Aside from their impressive singing abilities, I sincerely admire how appreciative they are of the staff around them. They are humble and sweet. I love them for that!
Do people think they don't sing live? I've watched a lot of thier live performances and they always sing. Maybe some of the really difficult lines they drop out but they sing 98% of every song I've watched.
Giselle's voice is so clean and stable every time they sing live. She's really good at controlling it, even in trying different styles. She's so versatile. It's most probably because of her very long training as a choir before becoming a member of aespa. She's technically stable.
Aside form their astounding vocals and techniques, I really love how kind and polite they are. They bow not only to the crews in front of them but the crews behind them, really big big applaud for them 👏👏👏
@@princessdollgf best for me, based on vocal color. each of them are distinct and balance each other out. Karina is "dark" and husky, Giselle's I can't describe well but it's playful/sassy while feeling grounded. Winter is more light and airy, while Ningning is smooth, rich and warm. And the icing on top is they're all proficient singers. Rarely do you get a group where each member's vocal color is distinct, and each of them can sing well. Just for context, I've been following K-pop for over 10 years (but tbh, mostly an SM stan)
there are many good vocalists in 4th gen but you dont see a group with all members consistent like in aespa. They literally have 4 vocalists atp 👏 and if you disagree argue with your mom
From the comeback this time, you can say none of these 4 girls left behind. They are averagely perfect, which makes the whole group stands out from the 4th gen gg so much.
giselle’s adlib in thirsty is so pretty, like all of their vocal colors compliment each other’s and each has distinct characteristics, their songs are always pleasing to listen

I don't liked overrated things, and here we have overrated vocals aespa. Is this what you call top tier? Strange how so called top tier sounds so normal in standard, they just sounds like so many others, no wonder they have to lipsync when performing with dance because they don't even capable to sounds stronger or better even when just standing.
I think people just mistaken their better tones as better vocals, they have members with top tier tones but that doesn't mean they all have top tier vocals.
Btw, karina should has less lines next time, her vocal tones are so nasal, it hurt my ears.
@@o.o4200 like nasality to a certain extent and Karina's didn't bother me at all, the others are better on vocals but Karina's rap technique is great, this song just isn't focused on that. I also think that when it comes to singing, others should sing more, but as Karina is the most popular, because this she sings a lot. and yes, compared to most kpop ggs, aespa is at the top of the list, they are not WOW but they are good yes, performing and the vocals are nice to hear, especially winter's voice, it invades your head and takes up space.

신발 굽 높이로 멤버들 키 맞춘 것 처럼 라이브로 노래 부를때도 멤버들 서로 각자 장점을 살려주면서 맞춰가는 합이 좋은 것 같다. 각자 특색있는 음색이 있는데 너무 매력있고 다채로운 보컬 듣기 너무 좋네.

Giselle's voice is so clean and stable every time they sing live. She's really good at controlling it, even in trying different styles. She's so versatile. It's most probably because of her very long training as a choir before becoming a member of aespa. She's technically stable.

Karina is "dark" and husky, Giselle's I can't describe well but it's playful/sassy while feeling grounded. Winter is more light and airy, while Ningning is smooth, rich and warm. And the icing on top is they're all proficient singers. Rarely do you get a group where each member's vocal color is distinct, and each of them can sing well. Just for context, I've been following K-pop for over 10 years (but tbh, mostly an SM stan)
For girl group I agree. But the kpop group that has the best vocal color is SHINee.
