Is graphics improved? Surface of the tank looks better, tracers more diffuse and reflects in the wet dirt, also muzzle smoke - is thrown at the sides from the muzzle brake..

Are you playing with random people or someone you know? I usually have a tough time when playing tanks with random people in this game, having to explain basic armored warfare tactics to them all the time. Most people think that you can just drive your tank right into the middle of the enemy lines and soak damage like a tank in an MMO game. XD
I know the driver Smudo in this case, the gunner was a "random" - He was quite capable and did a good job here! I seem to be lucky with random people joining me in tanks, I get good players quite often.

Curious Vade, do you ever play with the anti-tank mines or is that considered "unsporting"? I know a YT'er i used to watch a lot FriendlyNikoli used to but no one else seems to do this and was curious why.
No, never - I just find it boring and "cheap" to sit at choke points and wait for someone to endulge me. I'd rather go and sit in ambush in a tank, achieving the same but much more consistently!
Stuart light tank taking multiple shots from a panther, Churchill penning a panther, and absorbing multiple shots. This game is trying so hard to be realistic and fails at basic tank warfare.
The game is definitely not trying to be realistic (no matter how they market it). Authentic feeling and tactical for sure, but you need to make a compromise somewhere for gameplay purposeses - it's just that games like PS and squad are less arcady than AAA titles.
@@NZobservatory The allies had the M26 Pershing at the end of the war that could handle a Panther. There's a real engagement video on youtube of a Pershing knocking out a Panther. But I see what your saying though, it's hard to balance and be realistic at the same time.
@@JagerFrostTroll It is tough. Where do we stop with the realism. Maybe we should go into business together selling game chair cushions with built in electrodes that jolt players every time they're shot? We could make _millions_ dude! ;D
@@NZobservatory If you went full realism it could work though. Shermans could easily flank a Panther or a Tiger and kill it. It would make it more interesting then all tanks being somewhat similar in the sense that their armor and weapon values don't differ much. I think that makes the game boring and it's just another WW2 shooter. They could also introduce Russian tanks or something in some lend lease, the Russians had plenty of tanks that could easily kill heavy German tanks.

Yeah. A few weeks ago the game had a graphical improvement.
The gunner is a VET, must has got a lot of rings on the barrel.

Eine extra Einstellung gibt's nicht, aber es gibt genug deutsche Server, wo alle dann deutsch sprechen!

Maybe no one would bother playing allied armor if the tanks were more realistic. Short of making the German transmissions randomly fail or something.
