I watched this for 5 minutes thinking it was a Rob Zombie tutorial! Then i started thinking, that sounds a lot like the Cranberries! Haha. Great tutorial, very helpful and love the lead line part.

I'm a newbie guitar teacher from the UK who is planning to teach this song eventually. I wanted to also include the outro solo at the end of the song for my lessons. Because the outro solo is played by baring the high E string and the B string, would you recommend just playing the high E string on its own and leave the B string out until students can nail the main solo melody and dynamics first? As like an easier alternative for beginners
I teach it with both strings.

I did do a lesson on Linger. Search Linger Lauren Bateman
Think the last one isnt D, but D could be used, another lesson shows staying on the G but taking off one finger which to me sounds more correct, but both work.

I saw this on another video you made. On the D/F# chord there is no need to damp the A string. The notes of the D major chord are D, F# and A, so let that A string ring.
