as a procreate user, one thing i noticed was that the round brush wasn't soft, but more so had varying opacities based on pressure, so to mimic the pen fade, i would recommend using some of the hard or medium hard airbrushes
also, for the sketching, I don't really think they have a smooth sketching brush, it's just the pencil brushes and the lineart ones that have automatic stabilisation (im pretty sure it can be turned off, im just too lazy to find out), which is sorta difficult for me to sketch with, so i would recommend modifying the airbrushes a little

Anatomy is something i haven't learned... well...i primarily use one brush for sketching and coloring but for coloring i use airbrush and then i go crazy on the brushes for details... it looks so good for just using one brush!
The end result is *chefs kiss*
The thing I love abt him is that he teaches us how to shade/draw like him which is so kind of him😭

I have suggestion, instead of merging the layers, use 'add canvas layer' and you'll still have all your layers and an extra merged layer! Hope you can use it in future 😺
The art is absolutely gorgeous and also i think one of the perfect brushes for this sort of challenges could be either pen fade or pencil graphite

This made me realize that I’m only mainly using one brush unless it’s airbrush for a gradient 😭 I’m keeping this in mind when I next draw and hoping I can find more brushes to incorporate into my work to get better results :)

I have almost EVERY procreate brush you could think of for free so if you need any help on that I’ll be glad to give you them! I think one of my simpler sets might mort for you, it has a sketch/lineart brush, a fade pen and a watercolor blend

@@melodyllver ok um what’s ur discord? (It’s easier to actually link the procreate thing. Also it depends a LOT on style, I have good blending brushes but lineart is berry particular
I use the same app u use in my tablet, and i use a very basic brush, but all my drawings looks good with it, so i love it.

You can also render by lowering the opacity and color picking (for example the blush). I think some of y'all are going to kill me for that, but this is how i got used.
