There is no right or wrong setting. Everything in CS is personal preference.

You also need to have his mouse grip and mousepad position from the desk. These factors go hand and hand with the sensitivity.
Its just placebo effect when you know you have your favourite pro's settings. I stopped doing that long ago

I'm jut here to say that i've follwed ropz for a long time and seeing him getting the recognition he deserves makes me really happy. From his father dying to faceit inviting him to play to rule out that hes cheating to being in faze he kept it real, such a down to earth, no bs guy. Deserves everything he has and i'm excited to see what else is in store for him. :-)

We sleep different schedules... we dont eat the same diet...we drive different car... i have different mother...
I think alot of the time people who copy sensitivity aren't trying to be ass good as the person they use it as a bench mark to see what feels good or bad and to see if they feel any benefits from settings I enjoy trying settings but I also hate changing mine and keep the same for as long as possible
also the mouse you’re using and most important for your sensitivity ur mousepad and ALSO how clean it is

I found this out we I moved my setup around and realized something was off about my aim, on siege. All of this actually kinda of does matter.
If people spent half as much time playing the game as they do googling pro settings they'd be a lot higher rank

Just because the pros use a setting does not make it correct. For example, lots of pros play on 4:3 streched, but then people like Ropz, Rain, Jabbi, Yekindar, Twistz all play 16:9 or 16:10.

People think that if they copy pro's settings they will play better. That's not the reality, you need to have the consistency and talent with it. And I'm not even mentioning their thousands of dollars of gear that makes their FPS rocket to the sky

So does this mean when they play LANs they have different settings because of the standardized table heights and chairs?
As far as I know, the tables are adjustable aren’t they? At least at the tier 1 events.
And the chairs are usually secretlabs, which are adjustable.

I copied nafany's crosshair and adjusted it to my liking. It did worked.
In all honesty, ropz saying these is FACTOS. Yes. You can copy his settings if you have the right specs to do so. I, myself of course, would just change crosshairs since my aim is DOGPOO and I prefer nafany's since his crosshair is quite good, and have it adjusted to my preference to add more depth in aim, since I use the Galil or AK (M4A1/A4 in CT) in casual mode, just to practice my aim and crosshair placement. His crosshair fits my bill, but won't work on anyone without practice. I always practice before games though, whether Comp, DM, or Casual, and do some research on how to get better aim, better crosshair placement, and game sense.

no lie i copied twistz settings, as well as his crosshair it works for me im sure he adjusts his sens from time to time but twists got his sens from olofmeister so put that in your pipe & smoke it

so u saying that coming into tournaments, u get all these chair height, monitor tilt and etc adjusted every time? sounds like complete overcomplicated bs, just say that every person has his own preferences, no need to get all smarty about that
well he is right tho. Players are actually changing all of that before the games. They dont get it adjusted they do it themselves.
Obv they often get the sponsored chairs etc. But those chairs mostly are similary changeable, Monitor height they can change it too. Niko one time explained it very well where he puts his monitor everytime on "6" (height) and he Cranks up the table. So yea they get nerdy about that to be completly comfortable to play at 100%
most tables in the tournaments are easily adjustable and powered so yeah. (Monesy for example Puts it always around like 74cm or smth)

They way you sit, the way you hold your mouse, the way you position your arm, the height of how you're sitting all impacts how you aim and move etc, i could copy his viewmodel and sens but that doesn't make me play exactly like him, you need to copy everything he has and does.
