Look what the governor of New Mexico just did. Suspended the carrying of all firearms in the city Albuquerque for 30 days. That includes those with carry permits. Concealed and open carry. She declared an emergency and said it overruled any constitutional right. Straight up tyrant.

@bamahama707 You are correct. Unfortunately, when the citizens of this Nation refuse to stand up and defend their Constitution, they have, by default, given their "Power" to the government. There is a distinct dichotomy here in that most Americans believe in their inherent rights and that our government has no authority to infringe upon those rights, and at the same time they believe that nothing will ever happen to interfere with their rights so therefore there is no reason [no fight] for them to stand up and actively get involved in. They want their rights, but don't believe anything will ever happen to them. In effect, all the fighting over gun rights is nothing more than political rhetoric, in their eyes.
I fear, it is a lesson that after 247 years, they'll have to learn again.
