your tire videos always feed my tire addiction. I like your input and opinions. after watching them I have no need to buy my own pair and experiment. unless they look cool to me to buy and replace the old set. I had pats and phased them out after a few months. did pitfall and so on. this brand is the last one I haven't added to my small collection of different brands.
@@2fmrc I took off my Hyrax. It’s crazy how they didn’t perform. I wasn’t expecting them to work well on the sandstone in my area. They seemed to be definitely off in your video. I will try the pin tires just to see the difference. Still, nice video.
@@derrickwilliams2903 Right! I wasn’t comparing the tires. I replied to a question. I think the Hyrax are amazing for comp. I used the Grippers on sandstone and they kicked butt.
I agree with Patagonias on plaster cloth. Of course I haven't tried as many as you have but I think the Injora Mud Terrain M/T are at least as good as Patagonias on my plaster cloth (with extra plaster and a few brushed coats of exterior house paint to bury the mesh and so far no signs of wear). My scx24 Gladiator sounds like a cat clawing at carpet while it misses no beat slow crawling that with the mud terrain tires. My C10 with Patagonias was unbeatable out of all I tried but degraded over a short period of time to be about equal. My FCX24 did very very well with Scramblers (at times I think best of all) on plaster cloth in the very short time the damned thing worked. Less that two hours running since first day which was first day of Amazon deliveries. If I was trying to beat someone else I might be interested in the pin tires, but for a scale truck and realistic look of the tires for the scale look not so much. Everything I do is keeping to scale (so far) I am proud of my Gladiator that runs the Mud Terrains on an uncut body with nearly full droop except for about 3/8" of stiff spring to act only as bump stops. Single barrel shocks in front, Doubles in the back. Thanks again for doing what you do for us.
You do a killer job man and I think if a company comes out with something they would want somebody like yourself to test it so if there was a weak point you can help him fix it before they even released to the public right have you do a video and keep it tell him what was wrong they fix it send it to you then do another video and like it's fixed they release it you at least the videos and it blows up
My experience with them was much more positive and I'm running rock/loose dirt in the backyard. Stock foams, no venting (yet), 22g treals with the weighted hexes.
@@2fmrc I didn't get those. I have the trail kings and the swamp kings also. I don't care for the trail kings at all, they always seem to endlessly spin and never gain traction, especially so if there's any loose dirt or the slightest bit wet. The swampers are amazing, but as you've commented the lugs bounce it around a lot, but they are really great. I think for these to excel it comes down to rig setup most likely.
Idk man. I got them last weekend out on a course and they did really well on my rig, but I'm pushing a lot of weight. Unvented stock foams and mine are squishing down a little from its own weight. However smooth surfaces like you said, little rough. That's just due to the lack of aggressive tread I feel though. Definitely an all terrain, not meant for just rocks.
Maybe your plaster is breaking down and leaving dust on your tires? Common misconception about traction is surface area doesn't always mean traction. IE drift tires. Offroad it's the flexing of the treads in the contact patch. A narrow tire transfers weight to a smaller footprint making more friction. Wider tires displace weight, reducing friction. After riding a TW200 with fat tires behind XR250 and CRF250 for 7 years offroad I'm speaking from full scale experience.
Either way some dust on the tires shouldn’t kill their traction. I usually prefer a more narrow tire myself but lots of people are going all crazy wide with them lately. Not really my thing lol. I think it looks goofy like a mall crawler 😆
I'm glad I watched this, I love a good looking tire, but I've been holding out on these because they cost more than twice as much as some tires that work for me. I would have been pretty upset to find out that the grippers are slippers.
That thing is a pure monster! So badass!!! Does it hurt your heart when it doesn’t make climbs? I hate running a lesser tire and not clearing lines. Makes me feel terrible! Lol. Disappointing. Thanks for sharing brother! Rip til ya flip!!
They recommend the FlubberStufferz V3.3 for these tires. I picked up the v3’s before they were released as they were recommended and they fit loose on them. Still work ok but not ideal
Yeah I seen that. They said 3s were good until after I posted this vid. Then I found out about the 3.3s. Not spending the money for Flubbers for these tires though honestly. I’m never gonna run them so it’s just not worth it lol
I love your videos man. Your always very informative and detailed and you always give your honest opinion no matter how blunt it is. Like you said there is alot of promotional/paid reviews/ and ad type videos on FB and youtube and thats why I love how blunt and to the point you are and you don't sugar coat anything. Keep up the good work man. You are definitely the 1/24 GURU!!!!👍👏🙌
Those injora crawl masters are actually a pretty good tire! My son loves them on his gladiator I ran them on my cheat code for a while before my son asked for them he wanted them cuz of the size but once he put them on his gladiator they just crushed it. They are a pretty good tire. Give it shot before u don’t try lol. Mounted them on some SSD wheels cuz of the brass rings nd just killed the rocks. So me and my son like them! I actually order them by accident I wanted the other M/T ones not these A/T ones lol.
I love my mud terrain M /T’s with flubber stuffers V3 , I did vent the tire and they are performing great. I have The V4 on the way i do believe they are modified those are probably the ones you have the purple ones you was showing. Appreciate you Sharing the video always appreciate
I just have a small pair of cutters that I cut a tiny hole on each side with. I use a leather punch on my 1/10 tires but it’s too large for these tiny tires.
Injora pin tires. Been cutting them and they are even better I think, little guy racing swamp kings and powerhobby trail warriors more than likely. Those are mostly larger tires but all really good. amzn.to/3ftjtJG
Wow! Sorry about that. I’ll get on the pc when I get home and cut those out. RUclips just automatically places them. Not me! But I can delete them hopefully lol
Dude I guess you and Adam got two different sets of tires because they him they went up everything besides his indoor Force he was struggling on LOL I don't get it and I know you're honest person I'm damn sure not saying that Adam is not honest or just saying that's crazy how two different textures can be so bad for a tire I just got the OG RC big boy pin tires and I'm telling you right now Auburn in Weston we call this yeah a little 2020
Yeah I know they changed the compound on them not long ago. He may have the newer set? I haven’t really heard much negative about anything from him either though lol
Those injoras you showed really suck. I tried to get them to grip using all sorts of tricks. Simple green, wd40, sanding them, and also cut the lugs. Not worth trying
These companies need to take some notes on tires. They’re too busy comin out with all these different tread patterns. But they need to focus on getting a good rubber compound. Are these companies even testing their products before they release them? Those tires were awful. If j concepts would release their green compound for the 1/24s it would be game over.
This is the primo 1/24 scale channel.
Really appreciate that!
Yes it is!!!
Love how you keep it real Matt.
Tell it like it is. What good would it do any of us if everything got a great review?

Absolutely love how these tires look 👌🏼 but after getting Pins and Swamp kings it’s hard to imagine anything working better
Yeah those 2 tires kinda ruin ya honestly. I had really high hopes for these after the swamp kings but I was pretty let down.
Yeah I got the ones from Amazon the longer wheel nuts they work great, you get 10 in a pack, stainless steel or brass I got them both
I love that Mobile truncates the title as 'Injora FCX24 Whee...'
Love it! Thank you for your transparency!
I have fallen victim to the hype and have spent money on disappointment over and over again.
Thank you as always for the unbiased information 🤙🏽

Thanks! Appreciate that. Those wheels are the treal type d wheels. Love them!

The scramblers probably my favorite larger tire they got a great tread.
They are really good!
Keep on your scramblers, we have to wait some more...

lol I have no clue. It’s just a big bin in the garage now. I do give a lot of sets away to locals and stuff if they can use them.
I dont feel like the LGRP tires compare to the Scramblers or pin Tires.

I don’t have any rigs that weight much more than that 580 gram one lol. Maybe if I put them on a 1/10 truck 😆
