Thanks for the video Matt! I'm liking the Trenchers so far - it looks like they perform fairly well! I wish proline would stop trying to squeeze us for extra money and sell them unmounted.
Same! Nobody is going to use those wheels and they know that. Just an easy way to get a little more money out of us.
@@2fmrc It's also a good way shutting themselves out of any money at all from the rest of us. I went to your link to order a set before I knew this. I have other tires to try if the cayman I ordered Nov.23 ever gets here anyway. I doubt it ever will because of my luck with these companies and because the Furitek site says the ordered was fulfilled. I hope that means shipped and not that they think it made it me.

I love the look of this cliffhanger rig I picked up a 3d fuel cell from adaptive designs on etsy fits perfectly he did great job for this body adds just a little bit of a more scale look. Oh sorry for long comments, I know you mainly do 24s but I recently finished my 10 scale trail truck and having a really hard time with tires, I really respect your opinion and buy so much off your recommendations. Do you have any ideas on 10th scale trailing tires?
Chopped mudslingers vs swamp kings, Is it worth 50$ to buy the kings or will i not notice a diffrence?
I really like mudslingers also. I don’t think you’ll notice a huge gain honestly.
How do you like the trenches compared to the new proline Baja pros?
Both are really good. The Baja pros are quite a bit bigger so I’d say if you want a smaller tire go with the trenchers. Larger tire I’d go with the Baja pros
Have you tried them with the new 1.0 Proline dual stage foams? HAven't seen anyone do a video on those foams yet.

Look I wouldn't worry about what people are saying Hell with them man you do a damn good job and you give out a lot of good information you go through the grime the time the effort to do all this so if they're running their mouth let him go run her mouth somewhere else I damn sure appreciate you
You ever try the Powerhobby Tail Warriors? I have been contemplating trying a set after watching a few people rave about them.
Yes I ran them for a long time. All I would run for awhile. They are still very good. I’ve just found a few others I throw in the mix with them now. A very solid tire though for sure.

@@bladeaddison3189 for their size they are some of the best. The new proline swampers are killer also. I really like the 62mm hyrax lookalike from Injora,swamp kings,trail warriors and the ogrc comp pins for larger tires. It’s hard to pick just one tire that is best. Depends on the size and look you want also.
The Injora crawler tires rock terrain are also quite good. A little wider than Trencher
Proline just had a Instagram message about a new small tire coming out today or tomorrow but didn’t say what it was. Or any of these them?
Great comparison Matt. I expect nothing less from the 1/24 master. Imo powerhobby trail warriors 3rd. Injora comp pins 2nd. But 1st place for performance and appearance has to be the Little Guy Racing Parts Swap Kings....leagues above everything. Even after 2months of serious crawling and with almost 0 sticky remaining they still perform well. If people haven't tried Swamp Kings i suggest they do. Ty for the stable content. More please👍🤠👍
I agree with you. Little Guy Rqcing Parts Swamp Kings tires are the best. The trail kings are a great tire as well. Those are my #1 and #2 tires.

I can def tell the difference in performance.
I kind of want to see a showdown 2.0 in different terrain.
The coolest thing about the trencher is the performance/ scale look combo.
You need a wheel sponsor. Like injora just sends you like 30 sets of wheels for all the dang tires you test haha
No kidding! It would make my life much easier!
I think it's like anything. You'll get tires that are "all season/terrain" and will do ok on various terrains. But never be as good as a mud tire in mud or a snow tire in snow, etc.etc. Like full scale vehicle racing, just gonna have to have separate tires for each terrain you run or get an ok all-arounder that you can live with.
Be nice to see Pin's with a bit of ribbing on the side walls for when it's up against a surface, for added grip.

I am still a fan of the little guy racing tires. The injora pins are OK in my opinion. Never had the proline. Never cared for the looks of the hydrax
I wish that Proline would release a Hyrax closer to the size of the Injora Mini Pins. I would buy those in a heartbeat. I now have the mini Pins on my custom SCX24 and can do a 60-deg climb with all four tires on the ramp (front DOES get a bit light every once in a while).
Some how I picture this body on a new 1:18 scale Capra but it’s not really a 1:18 it’s definitely bigger so the body is probably to small.
Do you know what version of the SlymeBallz will be recommended for the Trenchers or if their making a new version? I agree, it’s hard to beat the Trenchers stock foams just the way they come. I was impressed when I swapped my Trail Warriors out for just a “quick” run. I still haven’t re-mounted them nor added any weight and they’re killing lines other tires usually struggled on. Thanks for the content man! It’s always straight to the point and full of amazing info!

Why is it so hard when doing comparisons to make the comparison equal? Same wheel, same size, same foam or insert, on the same vehicle, same terrain. So you’re right this isn’t a comparison at all.
Tire comparisons are really kinda dumb. They are going to run differently on different setups. It’s hard to even make it a somewhat even comparison because people wanna see you compare 20 different tires on the same wheels etc. If you wanna set around and swap wheels 24/7 have at it. I’m not lol. And I’m not buying 20 sets of the same wheels either! I try to speak on how I feel they are working or not working and let it be. I can put a good tire on any wheel and it will work great. Bad tire on any wheel and it’s not going to work. So at this scale to me the wheels are a wash. Merry Christmas haha!

I had a sxs and rode quite a bit for awhile. But that’s about it. Sold it because it was just too much money sitting around in the garage never getting used lol

Not sure size of the trencher... but been testing alot of 56-58mm tire and still been a huge fan of the rc4wd iroks and the baja pro xs which are still my favorite tire when broken in.. but doing a complete frame build so might have to try a trencher now🤔
Hey mat I love your vids and all the information you provide in the 1/24 scales. What would you say your top comp/scale/trail tires are? There are so so so many 1.0 tires out there so I'm trying to narrow down my field a little lol
