I remember being 11 and 12 playing mw2, when you saw those green letters all around your screen you just hoped whoever was hacking would unlock all of your guns after slaughtering you with wall hacks and aim bots, now a days you get yacked on by some lames and they don’t even unlock your stuff

@@Delg Of course it's possible, ppl still do it all the time. The problem is, it will always be detectable so with every new wave unlocks will get banned. The only reason you didn't get banned in the past was, because it wasn't paid DLC. Nobody cared if you unlocked free stuff.
Also, in BO2 people didn't give you shit, they deranked you to prestige 0 and took away all your unlocks.

Ricochet is a joke. We need a real anti cheat, that actually bans them, and can recognize them even if they make a new account.
all anti cheats do is monitor your kernal drivers meaning your pc for "hacking programs". so what hackers do is using there own drivers in place of the games and call it profit. im in computer science hence the knowledge. the only way to fix this for the mass majority is to get rid of cross play and let console players match up with console players. jailbreaks now a days for consoles can't go online on current servers with there console. cause sony or microsoft push system updates also known as "firmware" out and close servers for previous firmwares. it's complicated but yeah long story short crossplay has to go. pc will never stop hackers cause the files are literally at your fingertips in a folder all you need is knowledge to decrypt a game to get offsets and such.
I mean console only sounds great till you go to find a lobby on warzone or mp in general. A majority of the players in my lobby are on pc and most my friends are as well so yeah no. I just find it weird how i never run into cheaters on Fortnite or any other battle royal but cod is infested with them 😂. Its hard not to believe the conspiracy theories of them selling cheats to people and letting streamers cheat to draw in more players with all the views for profit at this point
@@Jbear_rs honestly you find more players on pc cause multiple reasons. 1 being warzones free so a hacker has access to several accounts at there disposal. 2 a game as big as cod lock and force people to leave crossplay on when playing warzone for server sake so players don’t sit in a queue for multiple minutes cause like you said there’s a lot of players on pc. 3 they are on pc cause of the hacks. Skill based matchmaking. If a hacker runs idk walls and no aimbot you can easily win cause well you literally see everyone whenever you want. You win enough games like “pros” boom now you’re in a higher pool of players. I would say 65-75 percent of players on warzone play on pc for the cheats. Because they want to be content creators and cheats are stream proof so you could be running walls and no one would notice in your chat, unless your rageing with an aimbot.
I work Monday through Saturday and sometimes on Sunday, I just want to get on some cod and play without people cheating. It’s easy to tell when somebody is cheating they don’t even hide it anymore.
That right there tells you the game has an identity crisis.

@@Taylored937 retirement isn't guaranteed, cancer is rife now more people dying in there 50s before ever getting to retirement, your family would value your time more than your money trust me, I'm a dad of twin boys I now work 4 days a week now to spend time with them and watch them grow much more satisfying than working to get 1 more holiday a year and I'm still very comfortable, your only young once enjoy time with family money means nothing

Qualifying needs to be on console only (I’m a pc player) and anything beyond that needs to be LAN.
Cheating in qual should be a fine and perma ban from any future comp play.

I got into online gaming especially warzone very late, and all I'm used to is hackers...I hate it's the norm for me and I've grinded and gotten so much better but I'm getting whipped by hackers. It's so frustrating
We need a console only e-sport game for sure. It would solve so many things.
The moment PC became an option to play COD on was the moment it went downhill.

I thought PC was always the way most people played for the best performance and it was a pretty even split between x-box, playstation and pc
@@stanleysanchez2898the reason was poor PC performance, older games could be played above a certain resolution/Frame rate and the fact Activision outright killed private dedicated servers meant players were stuck playing shitty Activision servers rife with cheating because there was no moderation. Context is important

Sad thing is, when money is on the line some people will do anything.
Look at sports, athletics, blood doping, steroids, match fixing.. cheating is prevalent in all settings where there is a prize at the end.
It is down to organisers and regulators to ensure there is a level playing field, as sadly, there are too many people out there who will cheat the system for the win.
Xbox 360 era was technically the best time for online competitive cheating. It costed a bit of $ to get online with a rgh but even if you got console banned you only had to replace 2 files(had to pay for it) and boom back online(let's not forget 0 kind of "console check"). Nade saying he doesn't know if ppl could cheat is sus asf lmao. And you did not need a rgh/jtag to play a game early 😅

@@BlueePluto for sure. We figured it out as 11 year olds who barely understood it (and there's really not a lot to understand). Him explaining it in this video tells me he's definitely done it in the past. But it's not a big deal. Tons of people did and it was impossible to catch and discipline for. But I think he should just own it if he did it instead of acting like he couldn't get it to work
IDK how but I definitely saw cheats in OG MW2 on the 360 back in the day.
This one dude had an option in his menu (I saw from the kill cam) to teleport everyone directly to his location then he dropped a C4 or two and killed the entire lobby.
Speed hacks on the whole lobby and also anti-gravity hacks for the lobby (these were actually rather fun and I wasn't even mad).
One time saw a MASSSSSSIVE black shape coming over the map (Quarry, MW2) and it was like 30 stealthbombers touching wing-to-wing as if it were one solid object and it bombed every square inch of the map.
I remembwr getting standbyd back in the day, never once made me want to cheat in any game. Cheating is so pathetic
Damn just unlocked memories of Standbying with my brother on halo 2 and 3. I was maybe 8-9. He got banned a couple times. Can’t imagine dealing with some of the other shit happening now.

Played 5 or 6 games on resurgence lastnight on console in UK. Took 3 times to get squad fill properly then 2 of the games had blatant hacking in. Combine that with team mates who back out without consequence and it makes it pretty frustrating and boring to play. Been playing COD/Warzone since the original modern warfare came out on Xbox 360. It’s at a pretty poor state right now. I know nothing about computer programming or software but the anti cheat system can’t be doing much good rn.

Had 12k earned in 7 months w my duo , stopped playing cause I was getting hacked on in tourneys 😭 shameful activity , I’ll always blame cheating for gate keeping me from pro scene / AM scene 😭 if you don’t play w a cheater, or cheat, you’ll never make it on cod
It's crazy how people cheat in games these days. I'm a PC player (been for 30+ years) and man it's rampant. And not just PC players...console players too with cronus and crap...in the 90s there were cheaters, but not like this...

So instead of blamming Activision for their Shit Anti Cheat, we are looking at just removing players together because of the small percentage cheating. This is the issue, the community is torn and angry on the same shit after the dopamine of the new game drops, then we are baack to the new one and they make more money and just continue with small investments in Anti Cheat because they do not put resoruces for the team, or those devs are just incompetent

@@koreanmix8827 That is top 250 comparted to millions of players, again that is such a small percentage it's laughable. COD has over 50 mil players so it's a very small percentage. Easy to fix if you apply Riot Vanguard which scans your CPU from the moment it thinks of opening it's eyes and anything else that might come up. Only way to live without cheaters, especially in the top. That plus a +60 tic servers would be amazing, but it ain't happening as long as they are making money, plain simple

Definitely not a small percentage. I remember the first warzone was almost unplayable with cheaters at one point. Now it’s a tiny bit better cuz ricochet at least catches the cheap cheats, but there are still a ton of losers that pay for expensive cheats that are undetectable.
@@M3FortiZay WZ1 was 4 years ago released by scrapping whatever they can to make a BR as well COVID helping them reach numbers like they never again will. There was no anti cheat nor was it good at all at the begging that is why there was a lot of cheaters then. Now it's not the case as before, but the system is still ass and something that needs work on , but with the cod community never wants a fix so this will never happen

It's getting very hard to find a game with cross play off, tolk me over an hour last time! Which tells me more console players have left the game coz of all the cheating, i personally can't see the point to cheat and must get bored after a night of dubs and 20 kill games
Same issue here I keep cross play off so I don’t have to wonder if I was killed by script/cheat users. But then you still have the absolute garbos snorting g fuel and using cronus zen’s or any various of those anti recoil devices and it’s like I’m playing in a tournament every game with SBMM as well which is the worse thing besides cheats to enter the FPS world. Old school random lobbies were the best.

At this point I play games knowing that 35 percent of the player base is cheating. Maybe going back to no cross play would help but it’s really a sad reality we find ourselves in.

Played ranked yesterday and almost every single lobby had multiple teams like rank 20 iri cheating their asses off. COD is a complete mess right now and it just keeps getting worse.

Had a teammate on my team yesterday in warzone level 128 account old guy that said he had walls and was on pc. We reported him and the game instantly kicked him.
This is just my opinion and I know it’s going to be unpopular but here it is. Although it would unfairly punish the players who aren’t involved in any form of cheating, if the developers truly cared about the integrity of their game they would completely remove the game from pc and go back to strictly console only. Anyone who thinks it would hurt business underestimates just how much us cod players love the game and a majority of the pc players would immediately get their hands on a ps5. It’s just to the point where if you play ranked or wagers you can never truly tell if someone is just good or not. The fact that there are people who will add soft aim to get just the slightest advantage is so weird for me and that’s not even the worst thing people are doing. Idk I’m just tired of it and there’s truly no other way.
During Spring and summer and even fall I bet there’s a lot of people that stop playing video games. Winter season would be the time that most people would play video games if I had to guess

Used to play Socom and had to deal with people breaking the map and going under the floor.
Solution: LAN-only when money is involved, with hardware-enforced policies using approved hardware. There's no excuse for this not being a thing. All pros mostly use controller anyway thanks to the aim assist strength. Not only that, anyone using XIM or any throughput device to give them an advantage will soon be sussed out at LAN's, just like Nadia was, and loads of other "content" creators that appear to be god-like out of nowhere and make it to actual events. The fact Activision/Blizzard think hosting competitive monetary events outside of LAN is a good idea tells me they really do not give a shit about players anymore, and it's just another marketing tool to boost player count and so forth, increase revenue. Numbers are ultimately all they care about, and have done so for decades.

they need "brackets" that are mid and lower tier and then put them up against the pros and see if there is any meaningful difference.

Dude GameShark for PS1 and PS2 and Game Genie for Nintendo was the golden era for me. Those were great times indeed. And most games had button codes to enter so you didn’t always have to to use those.

Honestly cheating has always been a problem in any game. The biggest problem is that the developers can do something about it but they don't want to. They make more money of cheaters than without. They only care about the money. Cause they can external ip ban. Which would mean any cheater is done.

Money should only be won in LAN tourney.. there is no reason to have prizes when you can't control shit.
The cheaters don't really affect new/bad players as much as the pros though, since with SBMM, the cheaters won't ever be in their MMR grouping (unless they're actually that bad even with cheats). That's honestly probably the only benefit to SBMM even existing in these games.

What’s worse then everything he just described? The dweebs in ranked cheating for literally no reason; no money on the line or anything. I hate that I grew up loving cod and am actually good at it. My SBMM is torqued to the absolute max and my KD isn’t even good because all I do is solo que ranked/quads; I’ve been shadowbanned on my PS4 like 20 times.. I refuse to upgrade my system or get a pc w all the cheating that goes on. Just a waste of time and money; I get mad enough turning off my ps4 when my good games are ruined to cheaters.

I was in a mw2 2009 match where the hacker made every care package an ac130. It could shoot through buildings. So yes there were hackers. I had like 70 days played in it and only happened once, so it wasn’t common but definitely possible
Man for one reason i suck in warzone but i am more then decent in normal MP! And it always feels like they a step ahead of me knowing exactly where im at! Or their aim assist looks way to funky!
i was litterally raided into someones twitch that was 2 boxing in front his stream. like he was having someone in his stream join with a level 20 account and then backing out.
