@@ShareMyLesson. Thx, You've helped me so much with your intermediate videos. For me, amc is tomorow and because of your videos I am confident I will be able to acheive well!
Hi, I'm currently in 8th grade and I want to prepare for AMC 9. Do you have any good resources for problems similar to the AMC? As people say, the best way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics. All your videos have helped me out a lot, Thanks a ton.
I have tommorow for grade 6's 😭 I did it in grade 5 and 4 but my grade 3 teacher was very biased so he didn't pick me in grade 3 but hopefully i can make it next year too 😄
@@mdesa.the start is pretty easy The last 5 distinguish the good students from the great I don’t know why you didn’t try? Or maybe you ran out of time?
ive always been good at just normal algebra and math, and am on an accelerated program, but I have always gotten stuck doing contest maths 😭😭Does anyone have any good tips on how to do those higher level critical thinking problems? Eg: I was trying to figure out the electricity one #26 in the video but I was completely stuck for around 1/2 an hour until I finally gave up.
By practise with additional questions, you can improve your problem-solving abilities. Please visit my blog for more information. www.sharemylesson.com.au/p/challenges.html
If I’m being honest, you just got to be familiar with different types of these problem solving questions If you are good at normal maths, the best path to take is to turn the problem solving questions into algebra You’ll get there 🎉
@@ShareMyLesson. Just did my exam last week (Junior division), and I'm not sure how I'll do. I'm sure I aced the first 20 questions, maybe got 4/5 on 20-25, and completed question 26 and 30. However, I lost out on 8 marks on 28 by 10, based on other student's answers. I hope my goal can be reached.

What are the typical mark cut-offs for people competing in new zealand? Is there any way I can find this information? Thanks
The typical mark for achieving a high distinction is around 95 in most regions.

Hello. Around what mark will get me a high distinction in the AMC?
it is around 100 marks
Grea video🎉
What are the typical mark cut-offs for senior division distinction & high distinction?
The top 5% of the Senior division (their region) receive high distinction, so the required marks for high distinction are less than 100.
I really hope I can get high distinction this year.
Yes, you can achieve your goals🎖
