Storm troubles headed for Central America - October 29, 2023

- Tropical Depression Nineteen has formed in the Eastern Pacific today, and is expected to become a tropical storm overnight as it cruises slowly towards the coast of Guatemala and El Salvador. Model trends have started to favour less impacts from this potential storm, becoming a hurricane close to Guatemala and then reversing course later this week. This forecast is supported by the National Hurricane Center, although they don't yet predict a hurricane. No warnings are in effect at this time, but this is likely to change soon as confidence increases.
The later period of the depression could see it become a hurricane for a second time as it moves westwards , and then curve back northwards and may affect Mexico much later on in the forecast period.
Tropical Storm Tammy is dying out for good, to the east of Bermuda. Convection is about to give out, and its winds are gradually reducing.
Two other areas of interest could form in the next seven days near the Bahamas and in the central Caribbean Sea.
The remnants of Lola are delivering strong winds of up to 60 miles per hour (95kph) to the north island of New Zealand today, and the storm will slowly push southwards across the islands with its center reaching land tomorrow.
Two areas of interest are still of note in the Western Pacific, but chances currently remain low for development.

It’s Pilar that’s next on the pacific naming list
Yeah. Funny how Pilar is a name of a town here and it reminds me of it
As Tammy dies out, 19-E is going to take its place and is likely going to be named Pilar... However, it might come towards El Salvador, and landfall is unclear as of now. Meanwhile, the ATL potentially could spin up more TCs as the month closes and heading into November, the last month of the hurricane season. WPAC so far is asleep atm, but might rebound.
As 19-E prepares itself, the utter devastation and losses after Otis destroyed Acapulco continues to pile up... The death toll is mounting and losses is likely in the billions of $... Will the tropics give more surprises? As we are all just two months before the year concludes, the world knew this last step could be treacherous and unpredictable, and the next month is just around the corner...
i wonder how vince will be, strong november storms are possible, but for this system, i dont think it will be supremely powerful

Checked the Computer Models section of the video and a major hurricane hitting my country (Jamaica)? Sure hope that doesn't happen. Anyways, 19E has formed and expected to become Pilar very soon. Tammy about to die off and Lola somehow still around. November might have an active start...
