Good review everyone had there favorite.. but love all the new g2 lipo smart battery’s from spectrum.. my arrma big rock and outcast fly with them.. I also like the safety of spectrums new chargers with one lead

What do you mean like plug it into the charger or the car all batteries just plug straight into the car but if you’re talking about the charging if you have a battery or spectrum smart battery you just plug it in and it knows what to do if you don’t have one of them batteries, then you have to set the charger to what battery you have And plug in the battery and balance lead
lipos cost an arm and a leg nowdays. $80+ the a 3s plus 150+ for the charger. thats crazy expensive. plus needing a case for the battery in case it explodes. which lipos love to blow up.

My question is
Are we suppose to keep the battery disconnected from the plug inside the rc car when not using it ? Or it doesn’t matter if connected?
Yes You're supposed to unplug them because the battery can drain when it's connected to the truck even if it's turned off.
It matters always keep it unplugged when u not using it
Yep off or the lights stay on and drain it dead!

The traxxas nimh battery shown in the video actually gives 30 minutes of runtime?
It’s a guesstimate lol I would say 20-30 mins though it kinda depends on how hard you run it

I got them originally for my rustler, but I don’t use Traxxas batteries anymore. I use aftermarket batteries like power hobby or yowoo
My nimh 5000 was like a lipo stayed at full power for 1:10hours and then went dead like what can anyone explain ?

You need a balance charger, not easy the east peak charger for lipo.

not really lipos are either the same price or cheaper than nimhs depending on voltage.
just change your connectors
Lion for transmitter and lipo for rc
