Great video. Neat to see where the clips etc are before embarking on this journey myself (hopefully next weekend).
Pretty sure i'll wrap everything, even tho the center console might take a few tries.
My biggest issue is finding the shiftknob in black leather, don't have the best experience with paining those in terms of wear.

Yeah the center console was a pain, I ended up spray painting it. Wraps seem to look better but they're much more prone to getting fingerprints everywhere. I'd love to see the finished product! Thanks for the kind words, best of luck!

@@adamdezsi your welcome, I'll keep watching for anything A8 related. If you ever do a video on the key I'd be very interested. Ever since I changed the battery in the key fob the start button won't work... lol typical. The only thing I done myself and it broke something else lolol... I love my A8, its a 2008 and still makes me feel like king of the road whenever I drive it..😄 keep up the good vids mate👌👍

The key is acting up for me too, I'm starting to suspect there's a receiver that's misbehaving. Though after I took the center console with the start stop buttons off, gave all connections a good cleaning before putting it back together, now it seems to be doing OK - fingers crossed it stays that way 😂

@@adamdezsi yeah, it's not a disaster, I can still put the key in the ignition and it still unlocks all the doors etc with the button, it just won't start the car🙄😄

Does the stop button work? It could be as easy as a busted button.

I have to be honest, I don't remember. I think I ordered one roll and then ordered another. It shouldn't take too much of it as long as you're measuring twice and cutting once :) best of luck!

Those old cheap woods look awful today. We have much better looking woods today and back then.

I swapped the valcona wood with the walnut dark brown in this interior. Except my interior is the higher end interior with full leather and suede door card and headliner. I have real carbon fiber from the factory in my S8

Yeah the s8 is a different animal :) the darker wood also looks great, I just needed a little more modern look. I'd love to see yours!

@@adamdezsi you can see mine on my channel, I did a video when I swapped to dark walnut brown. Very rare combination Ive only seen once on a W12.
Here`s how it look. You can see mine has the leather door trims which looks a little fancier.
