- ~What a fun day of fishing! Had an amazing day throwing topwater and missed some good ones. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more videos! :)
~The South Jersey Kayak Bass Fishing Club is a fun group of guys! We fish 15 tournaments a year throughout New Jersey. Open tournaments are open to any new kayak anglers at least 18 years of age or older looking to compete and/or join the club!
Perfect start to the morning. Sun just coming up. Birds singing away
And only the people there to fish out.
It’s what we live for! Thanks for watching :)
Congrats! That was an awesome day! That takes a lot of discipline to stick with a frog all day like that! And I paid off!
Thanks man! Ive been frogging and throwing topwater baits for over a decade. I know the potential they have and if the bite windows present themselves, you can put together a big limit in no time! Frog especially. Thanks for watching :)
Congratulations on the tourney win Alex!!! My favorite lure is the frog. You killed them!! What a great day for you. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!! I love a frog!! 🔥
Ahhh the classic South Jersey prayer: “please be a Bass!!!”…..lol
All them damn pickerel constantly get your hopes up lol. Thanks for watching man!
Good fishing. Great work with the frog!! Congratulations on the win.
I just came across your channel.
I’m subscribing. 👍
Thanks for watching and subscribing! I love fishing the frog at this lake. I usually always do well here during tournaments and ive won a few here throwing the frog and buzzbait. Its a tough lake but it can be good!
Heck of a day! Congrats!
Great job, Alex! The little chat that was had about the lake record before everyone set out turned out to be a hell of a foreshadow!
Hey john! Yea it did! Sometimes that lake can really put out a good bag and usually its in the spring or early summer! I bet one year someone will catch 90”+ on that lake. Just need everything to come together! Thanks for watching buddy and it was great to meet you. Look forward to seeing u at other events!
This was hype as hell. Congrats Alex. So satisfying as a viewer, can't imagine how the 1st lunker in the pads felt.
Thanks for watching as always buddy! Catching bass in tournaments has such an exciting feel! This is one of my favorite lakes and i was expecting to do well. I had a plan and it worked! Satisfying for sure :)
Great job! Awesome with the frog.
Thanks for watching! :)
Damn so that’s how you crushed them. Congrats on the dub, see ya at next one
See you there man! Thanks for watching!

@@HarlyGuy13 awesome! Good luck out there!
Great job Alex! 🙌🏼 Vids getting better too!!! Add time of catch to the screen somewhere for us tournament watchers. 💪🏼
Thanks Greg! Ive considered doing that!
Nice work out there Alex!
Thanks Dennis!
Great job wish I could catch that many. We have to see the rod and kayak setups please. And also do you use Fishbrain or do you just know where good spots are?
I should do a rod and reel setup, also should do a kayak walk through! Thanks for watching! I don’t use fish brain. I usually go on google maps and look for water bodies. The fishing club I’m in also introduced me to lots of new water.
Congrats
Thanks for watching! :)
Great vid Alex I also live in south Jersey mind telling me where this was?
Looks like Union Lake
Alex, nice job on the 1st place finish well done. I’ve been considering joining SJKBF for a while just haven’t pulled the trigger yet as this is my first year with a fishing kayak. If I did want to join should I fill out an app through the website or just show up to one of the open tournaments?
Just show up to one of the open tournaments! Go on the website and make sure you read the rules as well. I update the Facebook page for the club weekly as well. You will need a ketch board for measuring fish and have to fill out some waivers and liability forms. Those forms are on our site. Thanks for watching! :)
Does mouth open not matter in the tournament?
Yes, doesn't matter, only gives u 0.5" max though. Thanks for watching!
Out of curiosity how much are the payout for events like this?
Most are in the $100-150 range. Lunker is another $100-150. Also depends how many people show up! Ive won $350 before. Tournament fee is $25 for nonmembers.
Congraz! Ya mind sharing a link to that black buzzbait in this video brother?
I don’t have a link currently since im stuck at work, but its a Megastrike Cavitron buzzbait 1/4oz and you can get them on tackle warehouse! Thanks for watching! :)
@@AlexanderBronskyFishingthanks brother!
Idk about there but here the mouths have to be closed but u crushed it
Our club doesn’t require mouth to be closed. Thanks for watching!
