Hi Danny, it feels like Christmas unpacking all these beautiful orchids and plants. Thank you for sharing your present with us. 🎁🎉 Always enjoying seeing what you brought.
My S.J. 'Minmaru' that I bought in order of my sweet dog passing away, was SO healthy....put out 6 AMAZING flowers recently, then seemingly healthy leaves began just falling off a few days ago and is now gone! I talked to the vendor and it may be that my orchids are not getting enough calcium. I use rain water and MSU fertilizer. So I ordered another Minmaru, my first true Neofinitia and some crushed oyster shells....🤞🤞🤞 They should arrive sometime next week! Wish me luck!
Ahh Danny love that you got some new moss and orchids/plants too. I really liked how light hearted and bubbly you were in this video I was smiling and giggling. Thanks for the smiles 🙂
Good evening Danny. Regarding the desert roses I recommend you to grow them outside. They normally need sunlight in order to bloom. I have several of them for some years by now. I grew my eldest from seeds. It is more than 12 years old. I keep them outside here in Fuerteventura/Canary Islands all year long in full sunlight. During the warmer months I water them once or twice a week. I always check on the caudex. When it starts to get soft then it's time to water. If the caudex is still very plump and firm you can wait. Throughout the cooler months I don't water them. They only get water when it rains. I wish you good luck with them either way. 🌞🏵️
The yellow/white Phal combos are some of my favorite! Love the story! And totally believe you’re seeing the future. That whole time/space matrix. Great shirt too! ☕️ 🍸 😃
The Hoya! It’s soooo pretty when it’s semi stressed! I bought a 4 node cutting for $40 and the plant you got looks soooo good! When the plant is acclimated you can start controlling the water and sun stressing it, the leaves will be rounded and turn pink!
So excited that you got a shima nagoran minmaru! Each leaf is an individual work of art! They appreciate drying out between waterings and I’ve also heard they are susceptible to crown rot, so I make sure mine get good air circulation and dry in 1-2 days. They’ve been growing really well for me 😊
When I was 12 I saw an Adenium for the first time ever and thought it was the most beautiful flower I'd ever seen (S. Africa - Impala Lily)..... all these years later....I eventually have one
I have a non-variegated 'Minmaru' with 6 buds about to open. I'm SO excited to smell it! I live in a very humid environment so I 'up-pot' in sphagnum where the stem bottom never touches the medium. I adore that it is fully grown and 'oh so tiny'! If you have an issue with stem rot and you have sphag moss, up-pot or mount it. The roots are massive in relation to the tiny plant and from what I can tell, like to dry out until the moss is nearly 'crunchy' and I use repotme MSU fertilizer with collected rain water, half-strength, weekly. Once a week I flush the moss.
Hi, what do you mean by “half strength” rain water? Do you dilute it with something? Also, how do you “up-pot”? Do you place something under the stem to prop it up, or you just use butterfly clips to hold the stem higher?
@@nachtegaelw5389 By 'stem' I mean the center of the orchid plant or the 'axis' as it is also known. By half- strength fertilizer, I mean that instead of using what the directions say per gallon, I use half of that. I also collect rainwater as it rains often in my sub-tropical climate and rainwater has little nutrients. Therefore I use Repotme's MSU fertilizer for 'RO and rain water. By 'up-pot', basically, you use fluffy sphagnum moss around the roots of the orchid but not near the bottom central 'stem' or 'axis' of the orchid. That way, it's difficult for the stem to rot as it isn't set in moist moss, only 3/4 of the roots are. My Sederia Japonica 'Minmaru' started opening it's buds today!!! I'm so excited. It's the first bloom and it has 6 buds!!
Danny, it’s completely normal to dream about it, we’re just SO excited to receive our plants! I know I have dreamt once, unboxing the plant and repotting it. 😅
Hi Dani, I love your haul, such pretty girls and I can't wait to watch them grow in your care!! And the dream, so funny!! You were so ready for your orchids!! LOL.
In a way, that's why I love Australian Law even though we here in Australia are often criticised for our more stringent regulation of business. "Those stores" would be in a lot of trouble for misleading and false advertising which tends to attract the biggest fines :)
I have a white/yellow Adenium! I'll try send you a cutting if I can make one root nicely :) They love hot and dry, maybe good for a larger planter on your hot patio with a thorough watering every week or two? Thank you for all the tips in the past!
I was just rewatching some of your older unboxing videos and wondering when you'd post a new unboxing video! I am also tempted to place an order for an angraecum leonis and sphagnum from orchids delux.
Love! the minimaru..some day i wish i can afford it! 🤔well my other seideria is good ..growing still has nt bloom for me ....will see...its such a beauty!!!!!
White and yellow (or orange) is my favorite combination as well, I have sooooo many phals (and other orchids) with these colors, all the flava versions of striped or dotted phals. The sedirea japonica minmaru shima is so gorgeous, I'd love to have one of these but can't afford to buy one. I had the nonvariegated minmaru and sadly lost it to stem rot (even though I had it in a kokedama mount and never watered from above or even close to the stem), they do seem very prone to it unfortunately. Great haul, good luck with all of the plants, the adeniums are beautiful as well!
I love your sedirea! I have the same one, but I’m afraid I may have killed it. Had an outbreak of mealybugs, sprayed it with isopropyl alcohol and water, but I think too much got on the roots 😭. Do you think it will be ok? Impossible to find another one in the US right now. Good luck with yours!

I love that you're sharing your "dream of orchids shipping". It made me smiled!
Not all that weird, dreaming about your orchids, I do that all of the time 😂
Im my dreams I usually have more room to grow stuff though 😏

Oh my goodness Danny.. that Sedirea Minmaru is so adorable.. I think I NEED one!!
Woohoo! Plant haul. Those are my favourite videos. The Adeniums are so pretty. Fingers crossed they will bloom for you🤞🍀
My adenium drops leaves when stressed but always bounces back! As long as the caudex stays firm and rot free, it will leaf out again easily 👍
Ahh Danny love that you got some new moss and orchids/plants too. I really liked how light hearted and bubbly you were in this video I was smiling and giggling. Thanks for the smiles 🙂
Wow, that bonus hoya costs a lot here in the US for a tiny piece! That's a fabulous bonus.

Hi - your orchid tutorials are excellent- after watching several I now feel fairly confident that I can look after my Mother’s Day orchid properly 😊👍
I’ve never seen a minmaru, the leaves are gorgeous 😍

Love this unpacking!
I am really glad to see this since I didn't know how the plants were sent. 😁

@@faeryegrrl777 thanks for the reply! & congrats on the new blooms!! How exciting :)
New orchids look great, but those buds on Phal gigantea are looking AMAZING
Beautiful plants!
Such a shame we can no longer get these orchids in the UK ! And No, I did not vote to leave 🙁
Love them all! I also Love your shirt!!
I love watching your videos, I am learning so much from you!👍
Hi Danni, I repotted 3 orchids and used moss. It is growing algae. When can I repot again without shocking my girls? Ty for an answer!
Your dream simply shows how passionate you are about this hobby, I love it! ❤
Omg i've got my box from orchids deluxe today as well 🤣 enjoy your purschase Dany!
Danny, it’s completely normal to dream about it, we’re just SO excited to receive our plants! I know I have dreamt once, unboxing the plant and repotting it. 😅
I love your videos and I love your sense of humor!! From one vivid dreamer to another from North Idaho 💚🌿🌻
Hi Dani, I love your haul, such pretty girls and I can't wait to watch them grow in your care!! And the dream, so funny!! You were so ready for your orchids!! LOL.
Hi Danny!
I love your haul!!!! Would you post about that amazing self watering pot?? I want one 😍

Yay! I’m excited to watch this 😍
Please please dedicated Sedirea minmaru video 🙏🙏
Hi Danny. Interesting shop, might be a trip worth. But a small correction, the are in Germany near the Netherlands.
ohh, I just watched your short video saying you would make a haul, well here it is 😍 just a few seconds ago haha 😅✌️
I was just rewatching some of your older unboxing videos and wondering when you'd post a new unboxing video! I am also tempted to place an order for an angraecum leonis and sphagnum from orchids delux.
I would suspect that the Addendum bulb is a water container as is a Desert Rose so watering with care is essential.
thankyou for sharing
Love! the minimaru..some day i wish i can afford it! 🤔well my other seideria is good ..growing still has nt bloom for me ....will see...its such a beauty!!!!!
Cross fingers and good luck!🤞
Sorry Dani! How many barrina lights do you use for Cattleyas and vandas?
i enjoyed the story. a bit scary how deceiving dreams can be haha
Ive had dreams do that to me tooo!!! Its so confusing!!
Hi Danny 🙂
Just out of curiosity, how much was your minmaru shima? Got one aswell some months ago, 65 euro hehe, but I love it 😍

Hi Danny :) Can you make a video on the Adenium?
What websites do you recommend in the United States to buy online?
Where do you order your orchids from?
Hi Danny,
Im wondering will you repot your orchids now or you will leave them in sphagnum moss for a while?
Extremely vivid dreams of orchid order emails… 🤣🤣🤣
Does anyone knows if Orchids Delux ships to the USA?
Oooo love adeniums! And I do better under pressure too! 😂😂
I am confused cause i find orchids deluxe in germany not netherlands on google 🤷♀️
I think they moved their nursery at some point, their account is still in NL 🤷🏻♀️
💛💛💛💛💚💚
i dream about my plants too ... haha
Do you have seeds??
💚
I feel your pain when it comes to "shipping everywhere in the EU" and then finding out your little country doesn't count. Cheers from Croatia.
Are you even a plant collector if you don’t dream about your future plants?! 🤣
pot them up girl. they are fighting to get out.
Where did you get the tray that you’re using to unpack your plants 🪴? 😍
It is from ikea. I've got the same one and I'm very happy with it
@@mayastoyanova3020 THANK YOU!!!! 🙏🙏
