Glaciologist drilling icecores in Greenland have, by measuring airbubbles captured in the ice, established that we the last 500.000 years have had a pretty stable carbon PPM at 220. With a few periods peaking at 280 PPM. Those peaks have been connected to many large Vulcanic eruptions at the same time globally. Since around the beginning of the industrial revolution PPM has exploded. We are now (2021) at 416 PPM, close to double the amount we have seen last 500.000 year. Just to set the amount of 500.000 years in context, man left Africa around 60.000 years ago. Wake up please. We all need to ACT NOW. Its really pure Darwin. Adapt or die (out eventually). If we scan, and we do, the globe, for optimal placements for off shore windmill parks we currently have identified overall areas that covers the global need for Electricity, hereunder electricity for producing needed hydrogen to replace our complete needed consumption more than 35 times and counting. If we imagined we had our electricity covered, converted to the area we need to place windmills in, we would immediately better our oceans, through the many many mini reefs that are natural homes for mussles and seaweed, that again gives a home for small fish. These fish nurseries gives grounds for all sorts of life. Symbiotically it combined removes acidity from the oceans by filtering. Furthermore it oxidizes the oceans significantly.
Due to the actual rise of water temperature around the globe, not least via the Gulf Stream, through the thermohaline system, the oceans reefs, are under actual negative influence. The amount of bleaching events the last decades have been on a sharp rise,. More and more local extreme weather-related phenomena's have participated in large areas, that experience the complete eradication of life, in their former pristine coral reefs. They had functioned in perfect symbioses along large parts of their coastline for thousand of years. The bad news are that where large areas are affected, reality shows that the chalk in the reefs disintegrates in a few years after the last devasting bleaching event. Every single global reef constitutes a vital part, of humans and other species, food chain. If we build off shore windmills according to our global need, we would at the same time automatically, more than substitute and support the loss of our global reefs. Although the foundations of off shore windmills are artificial, they will provide home for the mentioned symbiotic species! THIS moment of time gives us all the possibility to be part of the solution, in everything we DO and project. Its going to be a leap not an hindrance! If all off shore windmill are placed at farms, below the horizon, seen from the shore, where birdlife are extremely sparse and those that do roam are spices that generally understands to avoid windmills, we will at the same time free vast amount of land and hopefully stop the rising waters, from eating of our live-able land masses. With no red tape and sufficient backing, an off shore windmill park can deliver full output from water freed for it, in 3-5 years. Electricity will be instant joining global grid, the underwater life will begin to contribute to an markable degree after 3 years and transform our oceanic life in 10, and even more later. Look into it and become an active part of a brighter future. I see no area, car/truck/ship/airplane engines or hyperloop (you name it!) where hydrogen cant replace AND eventually deliver a better overall conceptual solution. There are a Klondyke of opportunities! Not looking them up and exploiting them aggressively. are missing an option that will prevail. in a short time, anyway. We cant wait for a slow progression, we need a instant political, privat enterprise, global response to our REAL needs now! It makes no sense we use and pursue our energy needs coverage, by burning fossile fuels, when we can harvest the earths natural weather, to easily meet our needs in a green sustainable way! Investment-wise, we even can reuse foundation and grid-connections, when the windmills inner engine mechanically are getting old and needs replacement, thus we can later upgrade to new technologically more advanced engines and gearboxes, as an even more profitable investment. At first these basic requirements are a necessity for establishing the off shore windmill -parks. I would imagine that whatever capacity new energy transfer connections have they eventually will be supplied to their final safe capacity. Where I live. we now have enough hydrogen filling stations. for the persistent to cover its national needs. More are to come. The market today can deliver a wide range of hydrogen fuel cells cars, but the real game changer are coming from Toyota, that have presented a long endurance, direct injection hydrogen based car engine in a resent released presentation of a such racecar. They demonstrate its abilities by letting it participate in an Japanese long endurance race. It seems the Japanese have managed to overcome the holy grail regarding hydrogen car engines. A fast responsive, equal and better, rival to the gasline/diesel powered engine, that at the same time only emits, water! Not only that, they claim the engine actually overall REMOVES, a tiny amount of CO2, when running. Current infrastructure, gasstations, could relatively easy transform, and/or add hydrogen as an option in their business. I dont want to SPEND our taxmoney fixing our ever increasing costs related to a dramatic shifting climate; draughts, floods, hurricanes, climate refugees, I wanna INVEST in a transformation of our society so that all energy are made from sustainable sources, preferably windmills and that all devices used by modern man runs on green sustainable electricity or green hydrogen. Introducing a car with a huge fossile fueled engine in 2021 are as idiotic as can be. Had it at least had an old design and a spanking new hydrogen engine....but old design and a engine that kills us and the planet we live on... We have run out of time! Realise that if you are not part of the solution NOW, you ARE part of the problem.
Nice car. It was 1998 when I first heard the name "Maybach" used on a car as opposed to an aircraft engine when I was hired to manage the production of a industrial documentary on the first-gen mini-limousine, the Model 57. The German production company shipped a pre-production vehicle to Miami, Florida in order to shoot film against our gorgeous water views and puffy cumulus clouds. That damned car refused to work as planned. The entire trunk was taken up with a bunch of computers, terminals, test equipment and tools. It drive beautifully--when it started. We had to tow it using a low-boy trailer in several shots. We got to shut down the Rickenbacker Causeway in order to accomplish the aerial shots using a helicopter, and then using the police to escort that beast to make a U-turn. There was a complete platoon of technicians sent from Germany that were in charge of every detail: the leather guys, the wood paneling guys, the paint and exterior guys, the lighting guys, the engine guys, the electronics guys. There were almost as many guys who were sent to make that car work as there were people on the film crew. Fortunately, all of the footage that was shot was MOS--silent footage, no sound. I'm sure that the audio tracks would have been ruined by shouted expletives whenever some part would fail. Loved the way the light controls for the the roof, the champagne cooler and the footrests worked. It took another year for them to work out the kinks in this car.
"You need big, special wheels to carry all this." Nevermind the wheel, I want to know what those 5 bolts on each wheel are made from to withstand all that shearing force. Also, I love the outside of this generation of the S class.
Sounds like you’re just yelling something that sounds smart without actually knowing if it (the bolts) is a special feat. 5 bolts can handle a crazy amount of force. And wheels are more attached my means of the clamping force than the shearing force.
ok but what happen when your car hit something ? you will die in comfort position ? or they provide for you some special air bags according to your position?

The management of Mercedes seems to be as anachronistic fossiles as their cars now a days. Right now it seems that only Toyota can sell me a direct injection hydrogen engine based car, so I WILL go for that, but a little competition from European carmakers would be nice.

Review was like a great asmr short film❤️
Top spec Merc and still has blank switches... Ahhh i love german design :)
You don't tell her prices. I love this car.. Super
The price is definitely high enough that if you have to ask, you can't afford it.
There would be outrage if any elected official here drove around in such a car. But it is absolutely lovely.
Elected, no. Murdered all their political opponents and seized power, yes. It's a dictator's car.
@@grzegorzmajewski. wouldnt surprise me if I saw kim jong un being driven around in it
@@grzegorzmajewski. Although the president of India is the symbolic leader of the country, he's driven around in this car.
my left ear enjoyed this video
I felt like the rear cabin should’ve been longer
i had the privledge of driving a maybach once and it was a dream. being a passenger looks insane
When a s class is not enough. Wonderful car anyway (except from the rear screen graphic taken from the old a class).
What a jaint to own, it's beautiful and elegant car to have, well done MB.

the paint finish is beyond exceptional .
I liked ur comment not because I have read it and liked it , but because of ur effort to write such long comments on youtube

Wel explained. Glad I found this video! 😄
❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
Holy…crap, that is nice. I need to start playing the lottery again lol
10:18 how does the cooling work? Is it Peltier cooler?
Probably.
They could use the cooling system from the fridge, or even from the air conditioner, to cool the cups as well, but i doubt it.
thank you🎉
I really want to bay this for my mom ❤❤❤❤
I will bay this for your mom
I have never seen such a bad presentation, such a beautiful car.
Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.
Just a vehicle that brings you from A to B.
ok but what happen when your car hit something ? you will die in comfort position ? or they provide for you some special air bags according to your position?
Ask Princess Diana....
And funnily enough the driver who got the worst of the hit survived. Says a lot about how effective seatbelts are.
@@xx-----------xx873 no the driver died. The front seat passenger was her private security detail. He was the only one wearing a seat belt and the only survivor.
God bless everyone and their family blessings

Yes.. The door handle.
Thanks for the review, I was planning to gift one for my friend.
Title: "The PRESIDENT's Car"
President of what? Not the president of the USA. His limos are custom-made on GM chassis. Not the president of Germany. She rides in an Audi A8L Security.
President of India.
But the title of this video is more related to type of person who uses it.
@@brennolima4137 President Ram Nath Kovind does have a Mercedes limousine, but it's older than this one. As part of his austerity measures he has delayed purchase of a newer model.
President/prime minister of the Netherlands just bikes to work
The whole world awaits the direct injection hydrogen engine car market and they release an old looking car with an old fossile fueled engine. The management of Mercedes seems to be as anachronistic fossiles as their cars now a days. Right now it seems that only Toyota can sell me a direct injection hydrogen engine based car, so I WILL go for that, but a little competition from European carmakers would be nice.
😍Amazing, Thank you
Well, this sure beats the POS Cadillac we American taxpayers bought for our President. I do think the tacky (and dated) privacy curtains need to be replaced by glass which can be transparent/opaque upon command.
I agree the Cadillac is tiring, but the car is anything except a POS. It's not even technically a Cadillac after its' been modified. It is however, way more expensive than the Pullman.
