Whenever I want to make a Domain Expansion, I do 1 of 2 things. I either run a Cleric and use glyph of warding with the attached spell being Hallow to avoid the 24 hour casting time, or I use plane shift with a spell casting class that can use it, to bring my opponent into an inescapable void with an effect or 2 built in this void with the trigger for this being, "Domain Expansion." Though I probably have to ask the DM if I'm allowed do that😅
@TeddysAdventureYT What I was thinking is that my character is learning everything he can about Jujutsu as he grows, when he then stumbles upon the ultimate technique, Domain Expansion. Studying this art, he visualizes it as a sort of void dimension, and upon getting strong enough to use it (plane shift), he finds himself in his Domain, his Self Embodiment of Perfection. Wasting no time, he attunes this area with a strong focus (tuning fork) of cursed energy, finally achieving Domain Expansion.
4:58 honestly you could do both a Hexblood Changeling as hexbloods just add onto the current stuff a changling has like hearing through a nail or tooth and has some Hag curses.
Changing Size Categories and appearance at will was the reason I went for Changeling, but both are completely valid c: A Hexblood Changeling sounds so Eldritch too !! Thank you so much for the comment !!
mahito is such a interesting character. immortal thanks to how he shapes his soul. (not immune to soul damage) and can shape the souls of others. im interested to see how your gonna build him. he also has that awakened form. or true form. whatever you wanna call it.
I’m impressed with the level of thought put into this and I’m only at the 11:55 mark in the video. Low key makes me wonder how a character like Betelgeuse from ReZero might be built either as a boss or PC-I often overthink stuff when I could just simply look at some existing stuff for classes, or spells-lol.
I really appreciate the kind words hehe c: I‘ve played 5e since it‘s come out, so I have plenty of ideas when it comes to make any characters :) Also, any character is possible in DnD, some might need higher levels, but with enough reflavoring and some concessions, you can play anything >:3
Great video! I will say, the 2024 version of the rules I think helps a lot with this character concept, as does some fresher backgrounds (for example, izzet engineer gives you access to glyph of warding, which lets you choose clockwork soul for wall of force to make momentary barriers instead of having to rely on hold person! Which I think is more flavorful lorewise)
You are totally right !! :3 The reason I don‘t try to use the backgrounds that give spells is mainly because very few table - in my experience - allow their use ! It‘s usually either everyone used them or nobody :| I ended up using Wall of Stone, mainly because it lets Yuji break into the Domain by just blasting through with sheer force !! Lastly, the main issue with other classes was that Inflict Wounds is hard to get without getting Invisibility (Shadow Touched Feat - Mahito never turns invisible imo). So Divine Soul makes sense thematically - it also has the word „soul“ in it hehe :3 If you can use the background, your idea is totally viable and I wholeheartedly hope you will make wonderful memories at your table with your version of Mahito :3
@@TeddysAdventureYT yeye! New rules do make it fairly possible to get idle transfiguration via warlock! You can pick up the invocation that gives you origin feats, along with a basic origin feat, to have inflict wounds from cleric and cure wounds from Druid! But your idea is also solid, wonder if there’s a spell that lets things in but not out… Maybe magic circle?
As someone who doesnt know much about DND it is sooo interesting to see all the things possible in it! Do you think something akin to a Kusakabe/New Shadow Style Build would be possible or worthwhile making?
There‘s endless possibilities the more you understand hehe, thank you for the comment !! :3 I could totally do Kusakabe ! It would definitely be interesting to make a iaido-like build :0 ! Any build is worth making, all it takes is that it inspires you :)
Loved the video ! Don't think I've seen a Mahito build before. Could you do Yuta before you move on to other characters ? Been trying to find a good Yuta build to try.
Omgi wait Yuta ?! :0 That could be super duper interesting to figure out the Copy ability & Rika as well !! I‘ll make a poll for the next character once I‘m done with Toji. Thank you so much for the suggestion :D
IMO, I really like some design choices, but the weapon mastery system and the ranger „changes“ are quite silly :3 Warlocks remains my favourite class ! If you mean the Illrigger from MCDM, I can vouch for it and say it‘s great homebrew ! Reflavoring the abilities is pretty simple and the modularity of the features is also very welcome hehe c:
You can totally do Druid and Cleric !! Inflict Wounds is the main thingy we need :3 Lean into philosophising about souls and don’t hesitate to summon horrors !
@TeddysAdventureYT So what I did was go Sorcerer multiclassing into Cleric. The Sorcerer has a draconic ansestory to get those wings at higher level to further show his use with his technique to form wings. And Mahito is essencially an evil Cleric, which I also gave Mahito the War domain feature.
Its funny, id been looking for a mahito build on dnd for ages, i turn my head and BOOM my prayers been answered
hehe, have fun with Idle Transfiguration >:)

Making your own tuning fork for the spell could be so flavorful !!

I hope my build did Parchface justice hehe :3 For the ultimate form, he does pretty much perish when Yuji beats him, so I had to keep his hp on play !

For non-humanoids, it‘s an awesome idea for sure !!
The downside: Using the new PHB is racist
This is genuinely such a cool idea. And so much fun to watch. Most definitely will use one of these.
This is a powerful build, make sure to sow chaos with your Transfigured Humans hehe >:)

Great video ❤
I appreciate the kind comment :3
I'd love to see you make a lore accurate Monkey D Luffy and how you'd get Gear 5 out there
Another godly character in the list, thank you for the comment !! :3
idea: Suguru Geto from Jujutsu Kaisen build
Geto, the Jujutsu Pokemon Trainer :0
@@TeddysAdventureYT Yes👍
Can you make a mask man build please 🙏
Mask Man ? Ino ?
Mahoraga
Now that would be an extreme concept, but I thinkity I have some ideas hehe >:)
@@TeddysAdventureYT do it please
can you do guts pls
I‘ll bump it higher on the list ! The Black Swordsman is a classic in terms of DnD :3
@ thx
