Geoff Priestley Sadly our national guard are probably getting prepared to be real busy protecting people and property from people and other types of fires
I used to be a supply sergeant in the Army for 13 years, it always amazes me how very little prepared everyone everywhere seems to be. Every adult/person with a vehicle, apartment, or house should have insurance of some-kind, have some-kind of emergency ration food like MRE's or Mountain House dehydrated food and possibly a cast iron tea pot that can be warmed up with a single small candle for warm water, have emergency water supply of some-kind, and at a minimum have a high quality 24 hour survival bug out bag on-hand with personal items and touches and emergency money, food, shelter, lighting, first-aid, personal hygiene kit and always keep your vehicles gas tank between half and 3/4 at all times! Simple things to do and rules to follow and yet almost nobody does, everyone only lives day-by-day or they think as far as tomorrow or the end of the week. When I was a supply sergeant while everyone else would only think as far as a week or two out. I would think and plan a year or two out, when it comes to logistical supplies and equipment to have or order and have on-hand for future missions. I've worked with FEMA & American Red Cross representatives and I not only learned a lot about preparedness for both homes and vehicles, but I learned some amazing statistics on American and preparedness. FEMA & the American Red Cross did a joint survey on Americans and preparedness for 5 years and came out with the results in August 2015 and they said over 60% of Americans do not prepare for natural disasters in any way, shape, or form even though over 80% of American counties get hit by one or more than one yearly natural disaster! So if most Americans experience a multitude of yearly natural disasters, why don't more people get prepared more often? They also came out with the statistic that for every $1 spent on preparedness products or planning or a mixture of the two, you will end up saving yourself somewhere in the range of $4-$16 in disaster recovery costs! So the more you get prepared now, the better off you will be and the faster you will recover from these disasters, its like having another form of insurance, but its a personal insurance. It always pays off to be more prepared and organized and to keep things yearly updated! Never rely of the government, if you do they either won't help you out or they'll help out very little and take forever to provide assistance. I have my own RUclips channel under my full-name that cover a multitude of subjects including "Survival Bug Out Bag Building" and "Vehicle Preparedness" if anyone is interested in checking them out!

Jay Tang Agreed. That’s not political at all. California is a little tricky because the federal govt own most of the forests here, California runs about 3% of the forests, and the other 40 something % is private land. Amen...People have to repent for their sins...to see positive results, so, who will listen and take refuge in Jesus Christ...he is our only shelter, I pray their ears will hear and their eyes will see Jesus for who he really is....he hate sin...and there is penalty for sin...please repent and turn from your sins before it is too late.... that their hearts will turn toward Our Savior and Lord Jesus the Christ...
Sending prayers to all involved in these wildfire zones! On another note, this woman reporter is wearing a mask and a fire suit in a burned out community in the middle of nowhere. How ridiculous can they get! Fear mongers!
oh dear! my folks live in California. Hope they are safe..
Me too, we have many friends and family there and we are praying that they can be spared.
My folks say their cars are covered with ashes. They dare not go out at all. Praying for their safety..
@@serenelee3559 The faithful prayer of a righteous man or woman availeth much (keep on praying.)
Good luck out there West Coast. Our thoughts are with you. The year 2020 will have it's own study course for future generations. California , so beautiful and yet so fragile. Be prepared the best you can and stay safe.
I Pray That It Dosent Reach This Amount In Washingtion Im Praying For Everyone everywere who's being effected
That's insane!
This reporter in Phoenix, OR think her name might be Olivia Luciano is the most intelligent sounding reporter I have heard I ages. Someone needs to hire this woman for the big bucks.
Where is trump at shouldn’t he be helping
He’s refusing to help.
@IvyOracle Is this your response when a large hurricane puts thousands of lives in danger in a republican state? Be a better human.
Further evidence Trump doesn't care about you America!😒
A libtard fire is Trumps fault? LOL
@Robbie D Yea, he wants Newsome to go in an rake the forest floors!
@Robbie D Talk radio gibberish!
If Oregon California and Washington would worry more about maintaining their forests there'd be a lot less of this and less than worry less about protesters / rioters
Kevin WhittThe funding for clearing the forests was drastically cut for years, do you even have any idea how large the forests are in the west, get real, you are out of touch to the reality of it all!
oh get alone at this meatball over here trying to blame it on everything but climate change.
i live in central point oregon and we had a fire the day before yesterday and had to evacuate thank god they got it out but we had another one in almost the same area yesterday
There will never be a good year after this. So much chaos caused in this year. It is hard to what comes beyond this year.
God have mercy on us and for this people please protect them with your loving hand with the prayer of Mother Mary
It’s so orange here it’s crazy! I’ve lived in CA my whole life and I’ve never seen the fires this bad or the smoke so widely dispersed and far reaching. The air is so bad in some places it’s like smoking 20 packs of cigs a day just to breathe the air.
But Nancy Antoinette Peloci is enjoying fancy ice cream at home and getting paid huge amount of money!
You could say this about everyone in the White House....
She is a duly and constitutionally stipulated head of our government. Work constitutionally to replace her with whomever you favor.
With trump, the killer
Nothing is by chance ruclips.net/video/CRPKPJR1k5Q/видео.html
Today on the News about these people losing everything. One family was interviewed, they have no money to buy anything. They left with the clothes on their back. These people need help. Heartbreaking.
Imagine still believing in God after everything that's gone on this year.
Before I understood the Fall, I would probably have a hard time. But I don't anymore
This is simply a test of your courage and moral fortitude. Will you pass or will you fail?
This is the end days bro. I'm not really religious myself but read the bible and compare whats happening today to it. Genesis and revelations. Its almost as if someone pre planned it all 2000 plus years ago. Scary accurate
@@liamkisbee8117 I'm a Christian. What parts deal with wildfires? You have to be very careful with prophecy. Many people in the past have thought that it was the end times. Within every generation. The only thing we can do is watch events play out, and try to connect like you say, but remember, only the Father knows. We could be living in the End times. But we also might not - learn from history
@@liamkisbee8117 That being said, what have you spotted?
Everybody in california should have a fire bag packed and ready with passports, deeds, birth certificates, pictures, valuables, money, credit cards, ID's, memtos, water, snacks, full tank of gas, face masks, and medicines. I use mouthwash if I have no hand sanitizer. Good luck and GOD bless.

I bet the gender reveal parents who started another fire feels awful.
They will when they get the bill.
@@savage3114 Dumb question. Will they really get a bill?
@@thsu8 Yep.
And so many want popular vote. You do realize that the people who have ruined their own states shouldn’t be the ones the who decide who leads the nation.
Blue States are the only ones that carry the U.S. economy.
Tubal Cain Right, because the red states seem to never have massive flooding from hurricanes or towns completely flattened by tornados. 🤔. And most of the forests in California are federal property. If Trump wants to “rake” or whatever, then he can do it because it’s federal land.
TimeKeeper25 yeah, can yo imagine what it would be like if they actually were efficiently run.
@@DooMedEarth81 The reason why they get the most from the covid stimulus is because that's where most of the people are... come on, use your common sense.
How did it start
CA not allowing Fire Breaks to be cut. Not allowing Transmission Line Right-of-ways to be trimmed. Less than an inch of rain in the Summer months. What could go wrong?
Imagine this kid when it’s old enough to understand this story
10 now confirmed dead here in Bear Fire. 43 now said to be missing
This is what happens when you allow the land to control you, rather than you control the land.
So much wind the fire just grows by the second
I live in Oregon and was evacuated from estacada. I dont think half a million people have not been evacuated from clackamas County itself yet and is all in a level one evacuation. Milwaukee, Portland, and clackamas and Sandy, Gladstone, are not evacuating at all yet. Just estacada, mallola, Oregon city, canby, are places in the clackamas County district being evacuated right now to my best understanding of what I know from friends and my neighbors from different counties.
Fires don't start 20 ft away from each other following a line going up the mountain that was done by humans purposely they already have some people in custody
pray for oregon
What or who have started these fires? You can’t blame PG&E this time!!
Poor forest management blame global warming
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
All American resources need to be directed to people dealing with this disaster. $$$
Oh boy California on fire again... 🤦♂️
