And Broghil valley in northern KPK near Wakhan border. Many more areas in Baluchistan too like Ziarat but you have to go backwards.

Lesson for prospective tourist: don't go to tourist designated areas where you will see hundreds of tourists and lots of clutter, visit newer and unexplored places and with camping and longer duration in a van so as to save on hotel stay and explore the area leisurely. There is no such exploration like a 'one day exploration and sight seeing'...

This is really inspiring Huub. Thanks for this. I live in Pakistan for 6 years now. This place is even more beautiful than I thought. Why not get into a Bolan cookie tin and explore the place and get invited by these amazing locals. What I always understand of my Pakistani friends (Lahori's) is that you can't simply travel everywhere because in certain areas locals are very suspicious of outsiders. So unless you are travelling with a local (like a local guide) it might not be safe. I never fully understood these warnings and now I see this free spirit Huub going around all free. So I am a bit confused to say the least.
