My dad was a good friend of Keith Lancaster in college at Freed Hardeman. Listening to Acapella is one of the main reasons I love anything bass related and precisely what led me to play bass guitar for 25 years. Though I've since delved deep into jazz and jazz fusions, I don't forget my roots with Acapella and greats like Duane Adams, Tim Storms and ESPECIALLY Rodney Britt whom to me has the most clear and genuine bass voice. That sweet bass sound means everything to me.
Also, props to the beatboxer in this one. He sounded really good.

Memories of this song growing up. Not just that, but hearing it with mom on the piano, dad singing, and any assortment of friends or family singing too. Gaither homecoming before it was a homecoming. Love it.

Growing up singing these songs, it's so amazing finally seeing the men behind the voices. Their voices still give me chills and seeing them have fun while praising was awesome. Never want you guys to stop singing. Beautiful harmony! Thank you for helping my faith throughout my childhood. Every time I started to doubt or needed to hear Him, you guys were playing on radio, and I thank you for that!

A funny story; for the longest time of my teenage years I looked for their music because I thought acappella could not be the group's name since it means the style of music. Like a country music band being called country. So I ended up looking for their music by referring to their album titles so then I thought these were the names of the group's. I'd say, "I'm looking for 'Beyond a doubt' or 'Set me free' etc until later I read up on the history of Acappella and realized they had appropriated the name of the music genre🙂.

I've been a fan of Mr. Kieth Lancaster for years!!! Growing up n south Arkansas, in the church of Christ, my childhood memories seem to always have him singing in the background... ...needless to say, but you know I will, I see a true Christian in Mr. Lancaster... ...My Dad once said, "you'll never find a truer or more loyal demograph of Christians than those who sing... ...& I believe that Mr. Lancaster personifies this observation... ...keep up the good work Mr. Lancaster... ...it doesn't go unnoticed brother!..

Love these guys. I've been going to see their shows since I was a kid in the 80s. They still sound as good today. I played all their old stuff for my kids when they were little and they loved it.

i certainly hope so keith..... its funny... years ago when we first moved here (97) i sent you a tape that had me singing Sweet Fellowship... you actually ended up calling my house and talking to my wife asking her if all of the parts were done by me (which they were by the way)..... she called me at work saying..."guess who i just talked to???" and i was like "who?"........ "KEITH LANCASTER!!!" and i about flipped out!!! LOL.... i do hope to meet you someday...your music has really influenced my life...thank you so much...God Bless!!

Many...Many...awesome songs and videos. I've been a huge fan, since 2002, shortly after I got saved. I would be hard pressed to really come up with a favorite song. Lead Me To Rest, More Than a Friend, and He Gave Her Water, stand out, but oh the songs from the Hymns album as well. There's just so many anointed songs with that sound, I can't even list. I even courted my wife, singing the harmonies to these songs together. But this video right here, I can say, is my all time favorite video. It never ceases to deliver a pick me up, to my day. I have a short list of things I want to do, before I leave this earth. And one of them is to somehow, one year, go on the Acapella cruise. I have never seen you in concert, so I at least have to do that. Thanks and God bless you and all that you do in the Lord's name.
Our plans, to be announced soon, involve an Acappella Alaska Adventure cruise in the summer of 2019.
