We are back cleaning again and this time we are cleaning this nasty Deep Fryer. This deep fryer is in BAD shape and really nasty and in need of a deep cleaning!! As someone who is daydreaming about starting their own business while trying to get through their day at the office, these videos are amazing! :) How do you dispose of the oil and dirty water?
Take it to a local place that recycles it.
Please use proper protective gloves the next time you're using those cleaning products. It will be better for your health✌️

How much is a deep cleaning? I’m starting equipment repair and preventative maintenance
I honestly have no idea what this would have cost if we had to pay someone. But it sure was a job, that's for sure.
I wouldn't wear rubber shoes or use plastic containers to catch hot liquids elder.

Glitter is the best
Don't let it get to that dirty and the cleanup is much simpler. Still a bit of work but not so much build up. There is also a deep fryer screen on the market that could catch more crumbs before they sink to the bottom of the fryer.
We bought this trailer used and this is how dirty it was when we bought it. hard to believe they let it get this bad, but like you said, now that it is clean it will be easier to keep clean. I will look for that screen, that will really help.
How could you install and remove such a screen around those flues without distorting it and having the crumbs fall off into the basin? Unless there's a sealed access cover I don't know about?
@scabscerte just look it up? It sits on TOP of them and is like a rectangle basket.

What about the top part where the heat come out the hole
It wasn't near as bad as the rest of the fryer, but we did clean it.
Amazing video!! Great stuff. Just a pro tip: use a plastic spatula and not a metal one.

Great video! Quick question: how do you get in between the cylinder looking things inside the fryer? More specifically where the thermostat probes are? We have a lot of build up in that area, but it’s a hard to get tight space

Hey Bobbi!! Yeah, I am amazed at how clean it turned out. I just knew it would never clean up like that.
Do you have any advice on what equipment I should buy to transport hot oil Out of Deep fryer after finishing at a food festival? It takes so long for the deep fryers to cool down if I leave the oil in there.
Not really...yet. I'm still learning and just now getting started with this. If I find out a good way, I will be sure to pass it along.
Is there a reason for not using gloves and other protective gear while cleaning, especially being exposed to those chemicals?
