THANK YOU for reporting on this...
Amazing you still have to remind people of cell phone etiquette. Don't like headphones, then don't use your phone. Everyone else shouldn't have to suffer because you don't like headphones. Part II: No constantly using your phone when you're spending time with friends or family.

Yes, it bothers me when they are on speaker phone basically interrupting other people in the area... though I do enjoy the other half which means when they are talking on the speaker phone I feel I am invited and will sometime join the conversation... I think that is only right when conversing out loud. I really don't get why they get upset when I join in ???? Am I not invited when public ?

Hit the nail on the head. Was just in the supermarket recently and some caribbean lady having some loud conversation on her cell right in everyone's face. People would do well to watch this segment. No cell etiquette. It makes you come across as rude and out of touch

The worse is when you want to relax in the sauna and someone having a full on conversation on the phone. Or laughing at funny tic toc. Why am i the only one that sees this been so wrong.

Speakerphone isn't the problem for me because some people need that to hear, and it's actually more distracting to listen to only one side of a conversation because we subconsciously fill in the gaps. What bugs me is the lack of consideration in having non-urgent conversations in communal spaces, especially lines and restaurants. Ditto listening to music or watching video without headphones.

I was once in a doctors office waiting room when some guy started listening to rap music on speaker. He was bobbing his head jamming until I told him to shut that crap off, no one wants to hear it in an office waiting room! Like why do people do this?

I don’t know about anyone else, I would just wait until I get home or into my car before taking any calls. No one needs to hear my conversation.

People have lost sense of manners. Adults as well as kids making calls and using their exterior speakers. I also resent being subjected to their kids video game tablets at full blast in restaurants/doctor waiting rooms, etc and adults are loudly video chatting with loved ones. All inconsiderate dolts! I carry earbuds and would never think of disturbing others. There are also those who talk very loudly into their phones as if they were important or something. Arrogant schmucks!
