@@GardenloveHomestead I remember before you put in the dirt lockers there was a lot of wind coming over that hill while you were trying to plant the citrus trees. That looks so colorful across the landscape.

@@GardenloveHomestead Don't worry about it going slow, some people spend thousands of dollars trying to get the landscape looking perfect, for it to all die and be planted in the wrong places. Take your time, enjoy your family and the journey.

Diana I had to come back to this video and comment because after I saw your Mexican sage, I ordered some seeds so I could grow it. Well, I never got around to starting the seeds BUT I did find some Mexican bush sage in 5 gallon pots on clearance at Lowe’s for 75% off in the middle of January. I bought 4 and then went back for the rest of them.
I can’t wait to see how they flourish in my garden this year! They are already trying to bloom in February here in Northern California (zone 9b)!

I’ve never heard of Mexican sage until now. I have Russian sage growing in my garden, but it is not as beautiful as the Mexican sage. That plant is very impressive, love the deep color blooms and how full it grows. I’m going to try and find it for next year, either seeds or starts, would prefer the plant though. Thanks for showing this beautiful Mexican sage, I bet your bees 🐝 love the flowers 🐝🐝🐝

Thank you for watching, I'm sooo impressed with this plant and how well it has grown. I've seen it in other landscape and I said one day I will grow this plant and here it is. I love the look and the fact that the Bee's and hummingbird love it!

Thanks for watching, I'll look into Russian sage too. I hope you find the. You will Not regret it, they are sooooo buatiful the color is breat taking. And you are right the Bee's are loving it. Hummingbird are in heaven too. I can't wait to add more. Hopefully I can have a garden full of hummingbird. Can you imagine how buatiful that would look. 🤗 let me know if you find it or grow it from seeds.

I see some of the dirt lockers are out of place. After all this time and the incredible use you’ve put them to, do you still love the dirt lockers?
Love that Mexican Sage!! Looking it up for zone 7 hardiness. If it works here, I’m going to have to plant some! (Does it smell incredible?!)
    Gorgeous work.

How do you use your mexican sage? Do you use it as an herbal tea or as a cooking spice???
