there is some randomness in shotgun value rng that is why our 49/50 item run actually was higher scrap value.

Beautiful. I'd be nice if you could sort the leaderboard by different criteria, like you could set to show runs with 50/50 at the top, then 50/50 runs with lower scrap below that, then less than 50 runs below that. You could also sort by number of shotguns collected. Damnit dude I want to play this game.
First you need to sort out the first 900+ as "filthy cheaters" before any other sorting can be done.
Afterwards legitimate runs xan be sorted.

What the hell is happening at 9:18? How are you getting that much speed?
It’s a glitch where if you use a macro to drop an item immediately after you pick it up, the game will add a negative weight value to you. It’s easier done on lower frame-rates, and it essentially gives you way more speed than normal.

A glitch in the game. Dropping items really fast at low fps can make the game think you have negative weight. This was the only possible way to get the bottles :)

It’s a glitch in the game where the game thinks you have negative weight. We didn’t do it before because we only wanted to use it for the bottles and not abuse it the entire run :)

Sens is like 2k dpi and then whatever the default is in game. Brightness is 1 notch above the midline.

its not shot gun rng, people mess with the code to get way higher values than you should, a friend of mine who is a programmer did so aswell and he still didnt even get close to first place... even as he had hundreds of thousands.
I think they meant they got lower than a previous run, because in that run even though they missed an item the shotguns were worth more
@@mintentha its still waayy Lower than it should be, they got all possible loot and more with the aparatus so they should at least be close to the first spot.
@@Crazed-Rat It all depends on the scrap spawn chances and what is the max scrap value for the particular moon. There is no min/max value for what the total value of all scrap within one given moon can be, which means that if you get very good luck, you could get a lot of the items to be of high value, or the opposite. However, the spawn chances are typically so low that it would be difficult to ever get a run that has that insane luck where you get most of the items with high value.

It was only used to get the bottles because that’s the only way to get them. You can’t do it at normal speed. Also i waited till the end to use it so it wasn’t abused through the whole day :)

They have a 49/50 run no speed glitch this was just so they could get 50/50 because there was a glitched item
Bodies don't contribute to the scrap score for challenge moons so murderering teammates is pointless.
They do lol. Look at score at the end. Its +15 over bc 3 bodies.
@@call_me_bread No it doesn't. Me and my friends did Map 2 on Sunday. We got all but 2 items on map. We also had 2 bodies in the ship. We checked the scrap totals. The total matched up perfectly with us having all but a V-Type Engine and a Large Axle (I assume you know which one.). The bodies (which would be a +10) didn't factor in. Your 3333 is exclusively from your scrap and shotguns.
@@DarthTalon5 Test it now. Drop in and just kill your tm8 then take off. It will say you got 5 :)
@@call_me_bread Test it yourself. Grab 1 item. Check its value. Kill your friend. Take body to ship. Lift off. See what your score is. I guarantee you it will just be the value of the scrap. This is not something I say lightly. The +5 it says on screen when you drop your buddies body off doesn't actually factor into your score, that is just an artifact of normal gameplay.
