@@NicoTheCinderaceShould be pretty easy to implement, it'll probably come by next update if more people pester zeekers about it. For anyone that's curious on how you could fix it, here's my idea : Take the amount of credits scattered outside the ship (this amount is accessible through the "scan" command in the terminal) and add 15 credits to that total. Now take that total and limit the credit amount of the database of the weekly moon leaderboard.
@@beardedfailures8844 I think there's a few issues with trying to implement anti-cheat in this way. This wouldn't actually prevent cheating, it just puts an arbitrary cap on how high your score can be. People that are currently setting their score to the integer cap will just set their score to whatever the new highest allowed score is, which will still clog the leaderboard with illegitimate clears. The vanilla limit is actually somewhat unpredictable, and the system you describe may end up flagging legitimate records as cheated. Last week's challenge moon varied considerably depending on the number of nutcrackers you got and how valuable their shotguns were. It is possible to dramatically alter your RNG to get a wide variance of nutcracker spawns, and it'd be quite difficult to come up with an algorithm to predict which combinations of spawns are actually possible. In this run in particular, we get well above the usual 1514 cap by getting two nutcrackers, despite the fact that they are only a 1% spawn, using a specific RNG manipulation setup. If these nutcrackers were not accounted for, our legitimate run would be flagged as illegitimate. Finally, there are many "casually" cheated runs on the leaderboard. People playing with larger lobby sizes, people playing with for-fun mods that also affect RNG or scrap values, etc. While these are technically illegitimate, I don't know that most of the people cheating in this way are meaning to undermine the integrity of the leaderboard or falsely claim to have broken records. A lot of them are probably playing the game as they would normally, just on the challenge moon. I don't know if it's worthwhile to attempt to punish these people. In general, maintaining the integrity of the leaderboard is a hard problem to solve, and one that I think is better approached by individual teams simply uploading footage of their runs if they want to be viewed as having legitimate scores. I care more about having this run on RUclips, and knowing that we very likely have world record by virtue of the strategies we use, than having a good position on the global leaderboard.
There definitely should be a flawless bonus for the whole crew being alive at the end so you don't have to shotgun your crewmates at the end of every run 😂
Tbf, it does play like a flawless bonus in a way. The easiest way to get three bodies is for everyone to survive until the end. Otherwise, you're down a player and need to go out of your way to recover their body. It might also be unrecoverable if the death was to a worm, a giant, or a death pit.
@@Rayalot72 True, but having a body is always easier than having a living crew member since you can turn a living crew into a body, but not vice versa.
The jetpack is good for everything outside of the facility except carrying 2 handed items moving, carrying, bringing equipment to your team, communication, luring enemies, avoiding enemies, the extreme mobility lets you adapt to any situation and save time while doing it

it has a 70% chance to spawn up to two enemies, if there aren't already 2; i.e. if there's only 1 monster alive, apparatus removal spawns 1 more, if there are already 2 or more monsters, rip that shit out guilt-free
It gives us the RNG we want later in the run to get nutcrackers, which are a very rare enemy on offense. W/out apparatus pull, we'd get different enemies in the last 4-5 hours.
Im pretty sure this is the highest legit score (no mods) right now. Enjoy!
even if it isn't the highest score it's still the first full clear thats been posted. GZ
wish lb would get fixed so you guys could get the recognition there, super impressive still tho - squad got it done so fast 😭
@@kavaplant I legitimately hope the Leaderboards get cleaned up and wipe the scores of the people who cheat.

Ggs, clean run. Thanks for adding the other povs
Wait the jet pack is used seriously as a way of transporting cargo and not as a way to nuke your friends?
Yes, if you get the hang of the jetpack it's actually extremely good for ferrying small items back.

dont shotgun shells sell for like 30 credits or smt? why dont they kill each other and nutcrackers with shovel?

Kinda confused why take the apparatus first, dosent it spawn more enemy’s or no
