It’s almost like Robby can’t accept the fact that people don’t condone genocide 🤔
Maybe one day you can google the definition?
The Robby character plays the Piers Morgan game.. attract viewers from both sides, their videos will show up on both algorithms.. mo 💰
@@shaneburr4670 First you need to look up the definition before questioning other's usage of the word. Actually read it.
@@galvanaut7119 Seems like most everyone can use some practice in not interpreting everything through their own biased blinders, because clearly the current Israel/Palestine is more nuanced than one side bad, one side good, and clearly Robby doesn't condone genocide either.
All that claim is is a really really simple and mindless way to avoid any actual potential discussion at hand to baselessly assert 'What I believe in is good! You bad! Nothing else to be said!'.
We live in a time of very limited rational being applied to any thought. Ideological positions come from emotions and what people's favorite public idol says and it shows every day in how people express themselves.
@@adamh4594You can’t “both sides” a genocide. Mass, collective punishment of thousands of innocent people is not nuanced, no matter how hard the media tries to make it look like it is.

Abolitionists weren’t the majority either- until they were.
Their ‘minority view’ didn’t make them wrong, or tokens, or their moral clarity any less fierce and enduring.
Well said
Yes and the purpose of the right of free speech is to allow dissent and debate about government policies, and a minority can then come to be the majority
Sounds like abortion abolition. I agree.
This student makes it simple, which it is. It's the media that want to distort whats going on.
Before spruiking my perspectives on the Israel/Gaza upheaval, I will state that politically, and ideologically I am DECIDEDLY quite-right-of-centre. If you might doubt this to be correct then just contact ASIO, and they can confirm I’ve been under its surveillance web from the early 1980s. The reason I want to establish this is, because what I’m about to express on the Gaza conflict will be aligned with what the Free-Palestine advocates embrace.
*************************
I have a vivid recollection of when I first became aware that Hamas’ militia attacked southern Israel. This was a bit after 2pm Sydney time. But it wouldn’t be until the next morning that the barbaric images of what transpired were banged home to me with videos and pictures, as to just how dreadful this episode had been.
In the ensuing 10 to 20 days, all of the sympathy was clearly directed towards Israel. Alas, by October 28, the mindsets of people far removed from Israel (and I’m specifying those in Western societies who aren’t of Arabic, and Muslim heritages), upon witnessing the unequivocally disproportionate responses imposed by Israel’s military upon Gazans, it was becoming clear that the sympathy for Israelis was quickly rescinding. But now, more than 6 months onwards, circumstances have done a 180-degree turn. Whereby, the majority of people, wherever they may reside, consider now Israel to be a pariah.
The retaliatory actions inflicted by the IDF upon Gazans in the ensuing months up until late in March, when offensive measures have been curtailed, has been nothing short of abominable. And this is most glaringly apparent with the wanton destruction of, who knows how many high-rise apartment blocks being obliterated, culminating with, who knows, how many people becoming homeless, and destitute.
So, taking all of these horrible circumstances into valid account then, why, oh why, are people in anyway surprised that, people in Western nations (again, who aren’t of Arabic or Muslim heritages) have taken to the streets in their thousands in cities, and on campuses to protest against Israel’s top-heavy responses to what Hamas initiated on October 7?
Unfortunately, it’s now gone way past the point where Israel can claim its military responses are anything other than detestable acts of callous retribution. Had Israel’s military gone into Gaza, and forcefully pincered the dominion, and then systematically tracked down Hamas fighters, rather than inflicting wanton carnage upon the state, then there wouldn’t have been large numbers of people taking to the streets of London, Birmingham, or NYC, etc, etc, demanding a ceasefire.
But no matter what occurs in future days, the unfortunate reality for Israel is that it has lost any prospects of justifying what it has ruthlessly implemented upon Gaza, and dispossessing its inhabitants.
@@markferguson7563where did you see this sympathy?
Here in UK within days there were protests against Israel on the streets of London before they'd even responded

@@humn_rights I agree but not everyone interprets body language the same. Robbie does tend to have a somewhat general arrogant, critical look and I'm sure I'd be very defensive in person. The destiny of oppressors, murders, apartheid are doomed. They have to suffer humiliation and defeat. God is with oppressed and their supporters. These students, due to their uncorrupted conscience, have chosen to be on the right side of history! Bravo!
Thank you, Jonathan!!!!! The narrative is wrong and no politician should be on campus.
Robby is fishing real hard for something that could "could potentially be described as assault to me."
Somebody has to be aggressive about the other side. They’ll cancel this show.
@@DecaturQuewell of course aren't you supposed to ask hard questions to the guest
Plenty of students have been assaulted that information is out there but the hill is not intetested

@@krillin876 sure. Not sure the questions were hard. I mean he has to push hard to shape a pro-Israel POV no matter what he personally thinks to the best of his ability. This isn’t independent media.
Go, students!
Jonathan Ben-Menachem seems like a good guy. Very informed and aware about world events. His heart is in the right place.
Shame on extremists attacking American students protesting genocide in Gaza.
PLEASE READ TO PROTECT YOURSELF VS POLICE VIOLENCE !!!
WHAT STUDENTS MUST DO IF THEY WERE UNLAWFULY ARRESTED! :
1 .Remain calm and polite. Do not physically resist arrest, as this could lead to additional charges
2. Assert your right to remain silent. Other than providing your name and basic identifying information, you have the right not to answer questions from police.
Clearly state that you are invoking your right to remain silent.
3. Ask for a lawyer immediately. You have the right to legal counsel before answering questions. Do not say anything further to police until you have a lawyer present. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you.
4. Do not sign anything or consent to searches without a lawyer. Police may try to get you to waive your rights or consent to searches of your property.
5. Document everything. As soon as possible after release, write down all the details you can remember about your arrest - officer names and badge numbers, what was said, how you were treated, any injuries, etc.16 This contemporaneous record will be important for your defense.
6. f you have bruises or any fact of phisical violence from the police : Seek medical attention and document the wounds. If you sustained any injuries during your arrest, get them documented and treated by medical professionals right away and take photos of any visible injuries.
7. Contact a criminal defense lawyer experienced with student defense. Look for an attorney who understands the interplay between criminal charges and university disciplinary proceedings
8. Consider filing a formal complaint. If you believe your civil rights were violated, you can file a complaint with the police department's internal affairs division and/or civilian complaint board Your lawyer can advise you on this process.
9.Discuss your case with your lawyer before speaking publicly. While it is understandable to want to share your story, be very cautious about making public statements or posting on social media about your pending criminal case without your lawyer's guidanc
P..s.
1. government entities, public universities are bound by the First Amendment, so students on public campuses have free speech rights to protest peacefully.
2.Students do not lose their right to free speech just by walking into school. They have the right to speak out, hand out flyers, wear expressive clothing, etc. as long as they don't disrupt the functioning of the schoo
3.Schools cannot punish students more harshly for missing class to protest because of the political nature of the action.
4.Colleges have an obligation to protect students' free speech rights.
😂😂Genocide? Gaza children and families are playing, swimming having fun on Gaza beaches. Vollyball Genocide??😅😅
Can you pls tell me one genocide where the genocider is allowin aid to the enemy population??? there is no genocide Aarn Bushnell. idf is going after hamas embedded in tunnels under the civilian pop. hamas human shields. What would you do?

Well done Jon!!!
I'm so distressed by Gaza, as a Jew, as an Israeli, as a Zionist, I've done nothing at all for Passover this year. But when I saw the Columbia seder in the news, I was moved. The participants breathed new life into the holiday, made its meaning fresh. It was most "pesakhdik" of all.
By Zionist do you mean pro a settler colonial project facilitated by the British empire to perpetuate occupation and ethnic cleansing?
any human of conscience wpuld feel the same way by the horrors caused by israel in gaza
Feelings are not reality. Learn more about what realy is happening in gaza and stop blaming israel. You are not helping palestiniens. You do the oppsite with lits off good intensions but bad information. Come to israel and gaza and see the truth. And jews are afraid and intimidated. Your just minimizing it or just blind.
@@user-ti5ub6do1u I am in Israel. Have you been to Gaza? I'm familiar with Israeli Gaza PR. No, I don't see frightened people. I do see a deteriorating situation and hardship "the day after." My feelings are actually for Israel, not against.
You cannot feel for Gaza as a Zionist, it goes against your ideology
Well done Jon. You are a brave student with integrity.
How much money 💰 has Robbie taken from a certain lobby that shall remain nameless? 🤔🤨
Because he stands for things you don’t?
There's no evidence that robbie receives money from Jewish interests.
Full respect for Ben. Our world needs more people like you. PLJ&J
The professor is not an American ! Why are you so worried about his rights Robbie?!
We seem to worry about Illegal immigrants rights for some warped reason
That professor is a mossad agent. He is a propagandist.
Since when do noncitizens have no rights??
@@leviashanken2506 If they are in this country, they have rights granted to them by the Constituion. Do you honest think that cops can only torture people only if they are not American citizens? They may not have certain specific rights...such as the right to vote--but they still have due processing rights. U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark 1898
Because foreign nationals living and working in the United States have the same rights and protections under the Constitution that Americans have. U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark 1898
One guy was interviewed and said Protestors are good, and you can believe me because I’m Jewish! What was so convincing here!
I’m truly humbled by Jonathan’s bravery. Congrats on continuing to report on this. Thank you.
Hell-2-the-yeah !! This young man speaks truth!
Very rude of Robbi to not thank this student for taking time out of day to talk to him.
Robby can’t hide his personal feelings. He is trying.
I am so proud of this young man.
What an admirable and conscientious young man Jonathan is. I hope he goes far in life. As for Robbie - shame on you for your callousness
The devil rewards those he uses
Silencing and suspending protesting students will not do the varsity or gov. any good.South Africa is a case study that student uprising will eventually have to be listened to.
Mandela and the ANC were fighting so that whites and blacks would live together harmoniously. Hamas, supported by 60% of the Palestinians are fighting for the destruction of Israel and death of Jews. ???? You really think Hamas and the South African ANC (Mandela) are the same???
Thank you Jonathan ben menachem he spoke the truth they want the Palestinians to stop protesting they always didn't want Palestine people to speak up but if it was about israel you would not see anyone bothering them
It’s all about peace to ending genocide .. glad these educated young brave heroes are speaking up on truth .. exhausted listening to ignorant liars and hypocrites
This Robbie dude realizes he is not obliged to ask this Columbia kid questions right?
An inspiring and well articulated response. Kudos to these kids for speaking out.
Even with slavery you had a number of black peoples that would sell out their own people. Exactly what this person is doing.
👍
Thank you Jonathan very much your honesty what you see what happening in university. In Newyork in America very shameful.
This guest is mistaken if he thinks he represents the views of the American people. America doesn't forget no matter how loud these young people complain.
Forget what?
Those Palestinians they also too deserve to live in peace just like yourselves...whatever is happening with Palestinians and thank god for the protest around the world and in making awareness for the injustice which are taking places against these Palestinians...hats off these students and teachers for sympathising with Palestine 🇵🇸 👏
