    Love the M.2 slot and the cool lights! Tough to get a Raspberry Pi4 nowadays. I have a Pi4 used for my DNS PiHole. Great looking case and very functional! Great video Jon!

    Great review and assembly guide. I'd consider picking one up but for the same design problem most Pi cases don't fix: rerouting the ports to one side and changing the HDMI ports to full-size. I'd they could take these same design ideas but make those adjustments they'd have a winner with me for sure.

    • @WagnersTechTalk
      @WagnersTechTalk  Год назад +1

      Thank you Chris, very much would have preferred standard HDMI to be re-routed to the back of the case and the A/V jack also.

    Great video and very informative. If I do get one of these I'll be using you video as a guide to help me set it up. A quick question that you may not be able to answer but did this effect WIFI speeds? I've had issues with aluminium cases in that they reduce the WIFI signal?

    • @WagnersTechTalk
      @WagnersTechTalk  Год назад +4

      Thank you Darryl! Regarding the WiFi signal, I didn't experience any issues with this case. It's likely due to the acrylic side panels that would be less likely to interfere with the signal. I hope this helps.

      @@WagnersTechTalk Always glad to be helpful. I've had mine for a couple of months and I use some Bluetooth speakers. My only issue (and honestly I haven't pursued it) is the fan/temperature control. I also had a little issue getting an actual HDMI tv and a HDMI monitor to play well together. Two monitors -fine, tv-fine, just not mixed.
      It is a nice case and you did a great unbox and build.

      Thank you Sir, interesting about the TV/Monitor mix. The Pironman is definitely one of my favorite Pi4 cases. Also really like the SunFounder RasPad 3 that I reviewed sometime ago. It's more expensive but find it very handy.

    I love it. Under current setting, if I want to add rc522 & active buzzer on it, would it still got a GPIO pins for both ? I want to transfer it as RFID reader, so it could handle kids attendance. Let me know how the case could add these component.

    • @WagnersTechTalk
      @WagnersTechTalk  Год назад

      All 40 GPIO pins are accessible (AFAIK), totally up to you how you want to use them. You could use a kit like this one: amzn.to/4293CDj to connect the GPIO from the Pironman to a breadboard and setup your circuit there. There is a tutorial included with the kit and examples that you could modify as-needed. Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for but I've bought kits like this in the past and gone through a few examples. There are, of course, many other components in this kit aside from the RFID reader and tag. You could extend it to display a readout on the LCD or if you want to make the project more permanent (after testing with a breadboard) you could transfer it to a prototype board like this: amzn.to/41LL7Fp . Hope that helps!

    This is one cool case john! I am def done with raspberry pi's, too many problems with the hardware and builds, coinopsx has spoiled me, I have 9 Atgames systems running CoinopsX, UNrelated question does atgames email people bios updates when their device won't pull a new image? I picked up a Core Plus and it has the shipped firmware and won't pull the new one that eliminates the log on requirement for coinopsx. I hate bugging them for this right away and was hoping it would pull it eventually.

    • @WagnersTechTalk
      @WagnersTechTalk  Год назад +1

      I understand about the Pi's, they are so darn hard to find these days. The supply-chain issues they are having should have been long-resolved by now. There was a version of the Core Max that was shipped out at one point that wasn't able to be updated and needed to be replaced (very early on). However, as far as the Core Plus no known such issue that I'm aware of. If you factory reset the firmware, you "should" be able to update it. I presume you've already tried that with no luck. In that case, yes you can contact AtGames support and they should be able to provide the firmware download that you'd copy to a USB stick and manually update it. You can complete a ticket here, be very precise about what you're asking (for faster service and accurate replies). You can also click the purple chat icon in the lower-right during normal business hours to chat with someone live, if you prefer: www.atgames.net/arcades/contact . I've tested their chat support in the past, they were responsive within ~32sec-4.5 min.

    • @WagnersTechTalk

      Keep in mind, while you *can* install Windows to a Raspberry Pi it's not ideal for daily use (here's how: ruclips.net/video/9RQ7vxk7IdM/видео.html ). Also, the drivers for the case won't work under Windows ARM. You'll want to run PiOS , TwisterOS, etc. as shown in this video to make good use of these features.
