First Drive in the SR-99 Tunnel

The Washington State Route 99 tunnel underneath Downtown Seattle officially opened to traffic on late Sunday February 3, 2019, the evening before its scheduled opening. Word had not gotten out as I was the only one driving!

Thanks. I'm glad to see the tunnel for US-99 is complete. Next time we visit our daughter across from Whidbey Island near Everett we will have options gittin' there from Sea-Tac.
