Repent anf trust in Jesus. Hes the only way. We deserve Hell because weve sinned. Lied, lusted stolen, etc. But God sent his son to die on the cross and rise out of the grave. We can receive forgiveness from Jesus. Repent and put your trust in him. John 3:16 Romans 3:23❤❤❤❤😊😊
Debussy was notoriously defiant in the conservatory. He could play piano concertos etc, but often would improvise these totally weird (at the time) pieces that made the teachers mad, and would argue with them loudly too.
He knew his way, so did i. Man just needs some good word or understanding or help. No one understood him, so he felt in love with his cousin or somebody near. It is truly not easy to be misunderstood when you do something good and new. So it is. I do like Parnasus very much ^_^
@@aicrim interesting one. I'm not quiet good in english but will find this info to understand it. May be he just felt that way. Music is our feelings, not others
@@DFFSism Well I'm not good at English, too. I heard this story at a Chinese channel and the people telling the story is a music doctor graduated from King's College London (Yuan-Pu Chiao) so I think the confidence level is high.
Yeah... its crazy. Early works were so hoplelessly romantic. In his middle period he started to explore more harmonically and got a tad more interesting and late scriabin was simply crazy. Amazing composer that I highly admire
It's crazy that this was recent enough that we get to see pictures of him irl, not just in a painting. It's also crazy that this list starts at 17. Before, I thought, "It's too late to try to attain greatness", but now, it doesn't seem so impossible anymore. It gives me hope that maybe one day, I'll get to be like the great composers, although it's just a dream, it's one I can reach if I really try.
The L9 is performed so beautifully here, like a real dance. All the performances of this piece on youtube are completely lifeless, i wish you made a full version.
I just love how all of his music has a dreamy (whether sweet or fever)and romantic feel to it. Feels like he’s the father of smooth jazz sometimes. I love listening to him.
I don't know a lot about piano composers other than the standard few. I know I love debussy's music. It takes me to a very happy place. I could listen to girl with flaxen hair on repeat and always smile at the start.
Oh, great! Thank you! ^_^ Maybe this will finally help with my start in piano practice ^_^. Very sunny music. I never befor had time to begin to study Debussy music better or widier. So i'm happy not to forget it now, after you've done for us this nice compilation. Maybe for a composer or musician it is possible to see the evolution, but for me it is a search for practice, peace and joy to play or listen to ^_^
Idk what is so good about Debussy. His music doesn't stand anywhere near to Beetoven, Bach, Chopin, or even Rachmaninov not to even mention Mozart :D it just sounds so random and lacks soul. People don't have taste for real genius nowadays and are struggling to recognise it ^^
I really think that the one who made this video deserves a lot of praise. Im in awe! Of Debussy as always, but - even if you didnt play these yourself - then this video too. The purpose of the video, delivering on that purpose, its accessibility, the choices, the presentation... Ive had the misfortune to have been on RUclips for many years, and this is one of the top 4 original videos I have ever seen on the platform. Really well done! Phenomenal work. Now my thoughts: 1. While a couple masterpieces, like Menuet, are not here (released at around the same time as the much more famous Clair de Lune so in a chronological examples project I get that), there is an excellent selection. I have personally done an investigation into the true origin of Jazz, and Debussy is at the core of that origin. In this accessible presentation, his jazz innovations are even more clear. I absolutely love the clarity with which this is demonstrated, such as in your sample of C'est L'extase, all the way back in 1887. 2. Does anyone in the comments think that maybe the response to such an excellent and well made piece of work should not be "Now do xyz evolution!" After all the content in this video, can we not focus on Debussy and what we've just heard?! 3. If any evolution should be suggested in the context of Debussy, then the most intriguing would probably be Gabriel Faure. Who Ive found to be virtually the only composer who can predate Debussy in innovating jazz concepts. Thanks again!

Once his teacher ask by what rule he wrote a music progression and he said "by my happiness".

It is absolutely never too late. You've got this.
He actually wrote a song at 15
those ethereal and dreamlike atmospheres that he manages to print in his works were sublime
Like you're floating through time itself
1:01 that music looks like that one part in Clair de Lune
Evolution of Ravel!
that d natural in l’isle joyeuse 💀
Yeah man, it's d Sharp 😂😂😂
My favorites are Girl with the flaxen hair, Sailing, Arabesque no 1, and Tocatta. Surprised the sunken cathedral wasn't on here.

Ah yes when Debussy was young - that's when you want Debussy!
Sometimes all I can think of is Débussy!

I Want to see The Evolution of Tchaikovsky´s music or Johannes Brahms!

Richard Strauss plz
If Debussy was around today, he'd be feuding with Zedd
Why debussy's first pieces was like rachmanninoff's music but then clair de lune and arabesque 1 and arebesque 2 was very realax?
Debussy at 17 looks like Tchaikovsky at 14
Is there going to be an evolution of Grieg’s music?
Shostakovich pls
If you told me to guess when his early works were written, I’d mistake them for stuff written in the 2000s, feels timeless
