- Full run of newly re-routed Sawpit Trail at Soquel Demonstration Forest starting from the beginning of the Flow Trail along Ridge Trail. There are a bunch of those little wooden kicker jumps(meh) and some fast sections all with flat or off camber turns. Lots of grade reversals, so you'll need to pedal quite a bit down the trail. There is an awkward unnatural rock garden toward the end(super easy) and a couple well built wooden bridges. Overall it's a decent trail with some fun sections but I would likely just do another lap of Braille but it's worth checking out if you frequently ride Demo.

I agree with you. For me, Braille get's right to the point and stays there. Sawpit is still worth doing tho.
Sick. The last bridge is so dope with the side walls made of branches. Demo is definitely hectic on weekends.
Yeah they did some nice work on that bridge.
Looks like a great................beginner trail.
Yeah it's pretty much a beginner trail. It's worth checking out at least once.
Nice dude. Another fun rip!
man, it used to have all of those side hits that made it almost as fun as braille. didn't see any of those... not there anymore? Just the wood hits huh? bummer.
Only saw the little wood hits
Sweet ride, how long have you been riding?
About 5 or 6 years
In other vids there’s a steepish root drop section before the bridges that to me looks more challenging than the rock pavers. I think u cleared it so fast it’s a blur, lol.
I don't remember anything being steep. There was a section with some roots before the climb with little drops, is that the section?
I watched a few more vids and that section isn’t difficult if you bomb over it like you did. It’s actually not steep at all. The problem is there’s a jog to the right that at first glance looks like the easy bypass but it’s worse ‘cause it sends you towards a tree and the ravine. More than one vid had riders brake hard or stop, loose their momentum, then choose that trickier bypass and regret it.
looks pretty ridable without too much technical. Good for strong beginners/intermediates like me. That rock gardens at the end looks like pretty much the only tech part of the trail. Were those guys hike a biking through the rock garden or just checking it out before attempting?
Not technical at all. The rock garden is very easy no line selection required. I think they were walking that section but they would've been able to ride it. Just go straight and the bike does all the work.
👌🏼🔥🔥
Are those guys serious sitting in the middle of the trail like that!?! They didn't seem too interested in moving either. Ugg!
Demo seems to be full of clowns, this was on a weekday. I can't imagine what a weekend looks like.
@JBS @@CaseyMulligan23 Nice to meet you. I am one of those clowns. Apologies, it was empty and we weren't paying attention as much as we should have been.
Nice video
Yuri Gorokhov Jeez Yuri!
@@YuriGorokhov no big deal I saw you, not the worst spot to stop. But make it a habit to get off the trail. You gotta be afraid of the outta control clowns going downhill too 🤣
@@CaseyMulligan23 Outta control clowns? Guilty as charged. :)
