The irony Eric... I first discovered your channel a couple years ago when recovering from neck surgery. I was drawn to the sound of the tyres humming, the suspension popping and your labored breath while throwing yourself down some beautiful BC trails. Now, here I am again, this time it’s a shoulder reconstruction and I’m listening to the same sweet sounds while watching you descend! Thanks again mate - oh, and once this virus is all done, hurry up and get yourselves over here and experience Derby! Cheers ☺️👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺
Wow its really cool just to hear the bike and the trail grind and the air flowing mix in the hub hum and shake in the fork. Just makes you want to ride,
I love this forest! You can choose to nice and flowy flow trail, the super fun with tons of features Braile trail or the technical steep Sawpit trail! It's an amazing place!
This is real good coz part of the reason I started mountain biking is because of watching your channel🥳it’s also good to see how to ride the harder stuff...I’ve just started
I live in the Bay Area and love riding demo forest. hope that you went up to ride another lap and do the Braille dh after doing the flow trail. It has got some super sick drops and techy stuff
Switzerland and Austria are right next door. Single track goodness galore. Go get it! But yeah, I get it. Not being to ride out your door to great trails is a true shame. But it isn't all roses here in the US either. The SF Bay Area, home to the birth of the mountain bike, still has archaic and outdated prohibitions on single track. That plus tax cuts means our agencies cannot built the trails that need to be built. We need hundreds and hundreds of miles of trail to be built in the area. I'm pretty sure mountain biking is the largest activity in many of our parks. So why are mountain bikes relegated to the minority of trails? This HAS TO CHANGE! MOUNTAIN BIKING IS NOT A CRIME!
Eric, at 2:32, try hitting the trail more to the right next time and it turns the following downhill into sweet landing zone. :) Trail has been partially rebuilt around Jan 2021 and is faster (and now in June, dustier) in some sections. This winter wasn't very wet. We had an excellent winter season (2020-2021) on this trail. You try it again this coming winter.
Awesome video. Flow trail is top of the list for me. I got close to the top once, but gps failed and was too low on gas to get to trailhead. Ended up getting gas and riding in santa Cruz which was incredible also.
Thank you for the trail footage. I like both your channels alot. Yuka's channel is cool too. If you make it back down to Arkansas, you should check out Eureka Springs.
What an amazing trail! I'd love to get some details on it. What's the elevation change? Did you ride or shuttle to the top? Just how long is it? Inquiring minds want to know! Love this channel, BTW. :-)
I'm trying to figure out what bike you're riding? I see it says ''Range'' written in the top tube paint and at first I thought it was a Revel Ranger but there's no R at the end of Range.
It depends. Shortest route is probably down Hign's Mill road, (left on) climb Sulphur Springs Trail, and a right on Ridge Trail for a short bit. I always go the "long way" "up" (paved) Highland Way, right on Buzzard Lagoon Road (dirt), right on Aptos Creek Road to the top - (mostly) downhill starts with Ridge Trail (2 miles) to the start of Flow Trail. The climb back out (up Hign's Mill rd) is about the same - another 35-40 minutes for me. I'm slow: full loop takes me 2h (15.5mi, 2100ft elev gain).

In fact, come to all of Australia! We have great trails and hosted the World Champs a few times including 2009 at my home bike park!
I live in Derby👍🤘
the climb out goes forever as well

I prefer this to the overedited stuff, I'd like to do something similar here in New Zealand but all the video editing puts me off.
Thanks again for making this channel!!!
That was one sweet flow trail..
I really liked the "raw" format..
Great ride, great video..
It's like MTB ASMR.
These are badass trail Eric. Just added tehm to my bucket list. Bob T
This was one of the first trails I rode in Santa Cruz. Epic trail!!

I like this a lot... reminds of the old videos back in 2017. Awesome!
I’m so glad I live 10 miles south from there 😁. Santa Cruz county is literally mountain bike heaven.
Wow, great trails ! Great riding Eric. I'd be exhausted by the end of that trail, but have a huge smile on my face for sure !!

Schaufel rausholen :)

MOUNTAIN BIKING IS NOT A CRIME!
Such an epic trail. Good memories of that one.

For this days of cuarentine, this videos are perfect
Hell yea love it, some more Squamish trails and this channel is at its best again
Those trails look sick! I wish I could ride one
Keep up the good work!👍😁

Old school BCPOV right here.
I must ride this on my dropbar, there is no question about this.
I’m digging the new channel Eric!!!

One of the best trails im my area Heard mailboxes is great also
Yeah it’s dope! I have nearly cleared all the jumps at mailboxes.
Back to your origins. Good luck mate
Sweet.
Forever trail!🚴
This is a perfect example of a blue trail in my opinion, would you mind if i embed this into a website im making for a collage assignment?
I like stuff with out music thx!!
Did you go to Bromon bike parc in Quebec?
I rode that on Sunday 3/22!
What an amazing trail! I'd love to get some details on it. What's the elevation change? Did you ride or shuttle to the top? Just how long is it? Inquiring minds want to know! Love this channel, BTW. :-)
Click the trailforks link in the description.
Cool new chanel Cheers !
Demo forest is not in Santa Cuz and on the San Jose side of the mountain.
This trail is so cool. How long was it in km or miles? Looks like it went for heaps!
I'm trying to figure out what bike you're riding? I see it says ''Range'' written in the top tube paint and at first I thought it was a Revel Ranger but there's no R at the end of Range.
The problem with Demo is 2 climbs for 1 DH. The trails needs to end up at the parking area not 5 miles down a long uphill climb back!
Come to switzerland in summer and show me how to bike 😅
Yee
Pull you do not cuts just hour long videos?
I didn't even realize this was second channel lol. Are you driving to BC and staying in one place for the next month or so?
That trail is a religious experience. A lot of work to get into and out from, but a religious experience.
How long and in what conditions (uphill, flat, pavement) did it take to go from your car to the point of the beginning of this video ?
It depends. Shortest route is probably down Hign's Mill road, (left on) climb Sulphur Springs Trail, and a right on Ridge Trail for a short bit. Would of been there at the same time as you guys but then the corona virus had to come along
I crashed 18 times watching this video 🤣. In all seriousness, I’d like to be able to ride Flow with minimal braking. Hitting it tmrw.
Hi bcpow raw I was just asking what Are you going to do because of the crono virus? Like for him to see
First to see and comment I like you so much bcpow :) /bcpow raw
First
Try to get last, that's not as easy.
Chale y los subtítulos no entiendo nada jaja
Um? Is this just a channel where you ride and don't do commentary like your other channel
