I’ve been waiting for the video so I could post the comment.
This might be the first song that has ever given me “Great Gig in the Sky” vibes while sounding almost nothing like “Great Gig in the Sky”. This record is going to be really special and all we who have our names attached to it should feel honored.
Every element of “Dead Men Walk Alone” is there just enough. Lesser artists would not and do not know when a simple bluesy lick forced a song to downgrade from special to generic. All the elements in play serve to elevate the song.

Love the journey this song seemed to take me on, no idea where I went, or how I got there, so many influences whipped together into a delicious treat, and the Pink Floyd sprinkles are beautiful. Violet could sing the ingredients from a breakfast cereal box, and have you mesmerized .
